As a teenager Jim Croce was my favorite . I remember the exact moment I heard of his death. It broke my heart. Jim had such a great way of putting words together that reminded people how life can be. Little did I know that my life would have much heartache and loss. Jim's songs didn't depress me. They helped me understand that others had been there as well.
