Thank you for the shout out. Ron was in his glory. He loves to watch the older way of farming. He always used stantions and amazed your cows don’t kick you. Thanks Ron and Kathy
Not sure if y’all understand quite how dangerous chlorine is. One splash, one drop in your eye will change your whole life. Move it to a lower level so if it does splatter, it won’t be in your face. Safety glasses would help too. Don’t want to be a downer, but I saw it happen to a friend of mine at work. It was awful. On a brighter note, I really enjoy watching you and Brett working together. Y’all are great together, and funny too. 👍👍👍
Bless your hard-working, kind heart Taylor!! Your such an efficient farm-hand, so kind to the animals so kind and helpful to your boss!! It's always a pleasure watching how you and your boss do so well, at running the farm!! Your boss and 5th cousin, is blessed, and must be very proud of having you around as such a excellent farm-hand!!
Hey Taylor I really enjoy your videos. The farm is absolutely beautiful. Brent is fortunate to have such a diligent assistant. I hope you get to own that farm someday when Brent decides to retire. 😊
Hey thanks for the shout out to my brother Ron and his wife Kathy…awesome. They introduced me to your channel last week when I was in Michigan on vacation. Love your videos, Tay❤️❤️❤️
Hi Taylor! I real enjoyed watching the cows come in! It was quite funny seeing them bumping and pushing like commuters on a subway. And one trying to nudge another out of the way, as if saying "hey lady, you wanna move it? I'm trying to get to work!" Enjoyed the mowing session! Always fun riding on the tractor with you!!
Hello there young Taylor you are absolutely brilliant and doing a fantastic 👏 and great job. We love your machinery and tractor videos. The girls look very well and happy it's a credit to you both. Please say hello to Brent and thanks for taking us along with you both on your day. Kind regards from all your friends here in Ireland 🇮🇪 patrick Brazil. 😊
Hi Taylor, it's nice to see a lot more women in farming and that there's still small farms left out there. I came from a small family dairy farm myself.
Hey Taylor, just discovered your channel a couple weeks ago and this has become my favorite farming channel. Glad to see someone close my age that loves farming as much as I do (I turn 24 this week). I like the fact that you and Brent feed the cows mostly grass and hay, I know how hard corn silage is on cattle been around different dairy farms and the cows just can't last too long when they are pushed that hard, most around this area on silage only last till about 6 or 8. So I was going to let you know what some people in my area do to push a little bit more milk but not be so hard on the cattle. Some people have been planting triticale in the fall and in the spring once it starts to flag and grow heads they mow it and either chop it or bale and wrap it and it makes real good feed similar to corn in protein but it's a lot easier for them to digest, then most double crop with sorghum or Sudan grass but that's not too good on them either. I'm not real familiar with mains climate and growing season but I'm sure there is something else you could double crop with. I know some people who have gotten away with planting oats even though they like cool weather and made oat hay that was pretty good as a double crop. Just thought I'd give you something to think about trying. Keep up the good work.
Hello Tay + Brent, yes a beautiful morning, nice to see you both. I cleaned a domestic water tank with chlorine tablets. Not as concentrated as your liquid. . the main thing is the chlorine evaporates out of the water solution quite quickly. So it is not a cleaner very long...! Good to see your video, the cows look well.
Awesome to see you have some great books to read. You have nice scenery all around you there. The hay looked like good roughage feed, I think you said you are wrapping them so the cows or heifers will enjoy it. I hope you all stay safe and healthy Tay.
Hi sweetie, another great video. I mowed the last 10 acres of our first cutting Friday and baled it today glad to be done. Cutting cutting is right around the corner. I’d say mowing hay is my favorite thing of all.😊 Glad all is well up there. Talk to you soon.🤗
Hello 👋 my name is Elijah - i just subscribed to your channel - looking forward to your videos and farming operations - thank you for making and sharing 🙏
Hey Taylor. Sure did enjoy this and all your videos. Cows look so happy coming in and excited about getting there meal. Looking forward to your next video.
Good Sunday morning Taylor and Brent and all the girls 🐄🐄 video was awesome love how they all came in and Taylor mowing now working with Brent and as always you both be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey Tay 😂 , watching from Bristol Tennessee. Love the passion you have for farming , not much of that in the younger generations today. Look for something sweet on Monday the 29th . Y'all be safe out there...Andrew
Hi Taylor thanks for another awesome video. The cow's certainly know what the cornmeal is they can't wait for you to dish it out. Some arm workout filling up the tractor. You look so happy on the International mowing hay it's certainly your happy 😊 place. Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Great video always fun to go on a tractor ride.the 1066 seems to run pretty smooth.A 24 year old cow is really impressive.Take care and stay safe.Thank for the video
@@joewright1977 hey there! I been trying to figure out if it's just the way it sounds on camera or not but to me it almost sounds like it's got a weak injector. You can hear it thudd on 1 cylinder. But I truly can't tell of it's just the camera. I had and only 7.3 that used to thudd like that. I cracked all the injector lines till I found the one that made no or little difference.... That was the weakling. Edit: it's the "thip thip" sound at idle, best I can describe it lol. No smoke though so it's prolly just camera.
On the farm that I worked at used to have the radio on, playing soft easy going music at milking time, it seemed to settle them, more relaxed and the milk flowed quicker, thank you again for the lovely stream.Your such a pretty young lady.
I can tell you are a smart young lady! I just love to see u wearing your headphones on those tractors. You get to where you can’t go without them and that’s good!
Hi Taylor, thanks for another wonderful video always looking forward to seeing your new videos, I can’t think of anything better to be addicted to than farming
What a beautiful sunrise. Great opening for your informative video. Our cows had an assigned stall and they always went into it without a hitch. LOL. Love the haying videos. My favorite part of farming was haying. Have a great day, stay safe and God Bless
The bull came in too.😂 I gringe every time I see you in flip flops. 72 years old and never went barefoot, wore tennis shoes, or flip flops on the farm or any work place. Always have worn and do wear heavy leather boots. Always enjoy your videos.
I recently found your channel @ 3 weeks ago. I have watched all your vids now. Your channel is legit. Most farm channels 'sanitize' there content for the public. I'm glad you catch everything just the way it is. I've been watching UA-cam since it's inception in 2005 and watched many farm videos. Your channel is my new favorite. Keep up the excellent content.
The milkline hookups are upside down we have the same thing ours you push them up to open them thats why as yours wear theyll slide down on their own when vacuum is not on they'd be much easier for you to reach them to hook milkers up if they were on the other way
Tay, Poor 1066 needs a paint job. If that isn't possible, try putting a cup of diesel fuel in a bucket of warm water and wash it with a old rag. then dry it off with another dry rag. It will make it shine and save what little paint is left . Try it on a small spot to see if ya like it. And should run with TA ahead as much as possible and use Ta back to slow you down in a hurry and give you more power when bogging down. Park with TA ahead as well. Recommended by the "Farmall Fanatic " .
Hi Taylor, thank you for another wonderful video always looking forward to the next one,I had to laugh I think everyone I know has changed the mower knives after first cutting this year including myself, I guess we must think alike
Good morning Taylor its a beautiful Sunday morning and im starting my day off with your video just like every Sunday hope you're having a great day and keep the videos coming
Hi Taylor. I have watched many of your videos and have a question. Do you experience any problems with Moose? Based on your location, it seems like there should be a Moose population around the farm. I have seen some deer in your videos but never a mention of Moose. Thanks, and keep the videos coming.
Hi Taylor and Brent. Got my coffee and my toast ready for a Sunday morning vlog. You always seem to enjoy cutting Hay. How is your corn coming up. Will you harvest it yourself or have it done. Will you grind it for corn meal for the ladies. Looking forward to your next post. Have a great week.
Good Morning Taylor it looks like you are staying off to having a beautiful day hopefully it stays that way so that you can get a second and third cutting of Hay enjoying your videos on this beautiful Sunday morning From your friend in Massachusetts Kenny D 😊
I enjoy your videos. I have just this week subscribed. I wondered, with your busy life as a dairyman and a content creator, do you have time to read comments? I like commenting as I view videos.
Your sanitizer cycle you run before milking with bleach should be cold not hot ours is automatic in our pipeline washer after milking the rinse should be warm detergent cycle straight hot at least 140 degrees then the acid cycle should be cold
Hey Taylor, I know you feed corn meal which would be probably around 9 per cent protein. And your hay would depend on the kind and quality. You could spike your meal with dry molasses for your older cows to give them more energy especially when cold, or mix with water and add to your hay top dress. Just a thought for the older animals and heifers. Take care and be safe. P.S. those 10's will run 26 mph. S. Ia.
Taylor do you realize the many potentials for accidents on a farm? You are young and them feet need to last you a long time. Flip flops??? I do love your videos.
Good morning Taylor and thank you for another great video which are so detailed and informative. I think those individuals that have never farmed in their life would get a great understanding of what farming is all about after watching your vids. Pretty red toenails.🙃 Stay positive, keep smiling, keep farming. Maybe I will show up on your farm someday. 🐄🚜😉🍻🍩
Hi Taylor! Please wear safety glasses when dispensing the concentrated chlorine and acid wash! Could not tell from the video if you were wearing any eye protection! Thanks God Bless! Mike K👍😎🙏🏻
You should make the corn meal hopper higher off the ground so you can blue cart under it instead of filling buckets would be quicker. Unless there is a certain reason why you do it that way in that case I will be quite lol love your videos
