Pearl jam did this song justice. If you're going to cover a Beatles song, then do it right, or don't do it all. You've gotta play it with feeling, this is why Pearl jam kicked ass on this one.

I actually really like this cover. It has a very different feel to the original,which in itself is really nice to hear. It doesn't sound over practised or over done it just sort of moves and flows of it's own accord. Unlike many of the other covers it has feeling behind it, not just a person that can hit the right notes. They took a well known song and made it theirs.
It is a great cover by without a doubt the greatest band of the 90s. Eddie is no stevie wonder on harmonica though :-) he laughs at himself about it in this video. Love Pearl Jam
This one of my favorite songs ever, and the problem with covers of this song is nobody usually call pull off the vocals and emotion just right like John Lennon did. Eddie does it right here. It's great.

This is a good cover, I thought it was a good song for him to cover. I would have liked it way more if he would've sang it straightly like the original, instead of adding in all those vocal accents. It messes with the flow of the song.
