You want to hear a killer cover of this song? Go listen to the Kentucky Headhunters cover of this song. It is outstanding!!! Eddie Vedder also goes a great cover too! Heck so does Joe Cocker. But I think the Headhunters does the best cover and it is over 5 minutes long
Really?? I think the conversation is regarding this cover and other covers! But thank you for educating all of us that the Beatles were the ORIGINAL artists.
What's up with the audio? He's playing an electric guitar and all you hear is an unseen acoustic....?? You can hardly hear electric guitar in there, and when you do, he's off. Listen close.
I am going there right now to compare! I will be back to let you know my dumb ass opinion! BRB! Ok back! We all have our Opinions. Terence’s version is very different. That being said I stick with best cover Kentucky Headhunters, Eddie Vedder. Chris Cornell’s and this one here blow the doors off Terence’s cover!
@@marciabueno5093I agree Eddie’s cover is great!!! But the best cover is by the Kentucky Headhunters. That version is longer and the guitars are great!
Amazing rendition of this song. My favorite John Lennon Beatles song.
only makes me miss dennis wilson even more.
awe the photos of john of in the back 😭
shut up Staples, let the stars have some fun.... I changed my mind on you.
3 of my all time favs
OMG!!!! SO AMAZING!!!
As if Kristofferson wasn't a legend. ;-)
Agree totally, Chris hogged it yet there was 2 legends beside him.
Beautiful 🎸 🎙
Hey I’m not hiding ❤️
it was illegal then, john wrote it for brian since he was gay (but now we don’t need to hide)
The only reason I stopped to watch this was Chris, and Willie. Now I know I was right. Stapleton thought he was the only one on stage.

Want to hear a REALLY "killer" version? Listen to the Beatles.
@@8angst8 Couldn't agree more. These country ***ks, stick to your shitty lane.

1.50 Is the guitarist with the long grey beard the same fella that was playing in Phil Collins farewell tour back in the day?
Yes…premier studio/& touring bassist Leland (Lee) Sklar!
@@bplappin thanks for replying 😀

its like there is a track playing behind it and its wildly off
Harmónica en G o A?
Is that Kenny Arnoff on skins?
Yes it is
& Leland Sklar on bass!
Theres a hick-up at .55+ "....n hand". Could be my puter, great post though.
it's unfortunate, otherwise great
Schade , da hätte man mehr draus machen können, mit der richtigen songauswahl
No thanks 😱
No one has beaten Terence trent Darbys version yet

Gag 🤮
What a shame Stapleton used two of the greats in county music as back up singers. WTF
Compared to the Beatles this version sucks
They'll never learn.
It’s a great version, one of the best I’ve heard, really brings heart and emotion to the song!
This was a nice idea. But with Kris and Willie on stage with him, Stapleton should not have hogged the song all to himself.
They should have stayed on the bus.
Eddie Veder did a much better job…just saying
