  • Myrmecology in Madagascar
A group of students and ant researchers traveled to Madagascar to survey the ants of the western dry forest. With expert climbing instructors at their side, the teams rose into the canopy and discovered new ant communities. This ongoing research sheds light on the biodiversity in the island's unexplored tree canopies, helping to inform conservation efforts dedicated to protecting life in one of Earth's richest environments.
The forests of Madagascar - and others around the world - need our help. Join the #teamtrees movement at teamtrees.org.
