Definitely one of the better performances I have seen from Korean singers. It is funny how popular this song is here in South Korea. It is like "BarBarBar" popular and that was everywhere for about three months solid. This was very close to Idina Menzel, the original singer's version, but I only think there are a handful of singers in the World who could match Menzel's unique performance.
One of the few K-POP idols who ends this cover splendidly with that last high note. Uji's not the only capable singer in BESTie. All of the members are. Do give a listen to "I Need You" which is their latest song release. It's good!
What astounds me is how her voice seems to be made for the range and volume of this song. Most of the covers of Let it Go seem to fall into the trap of singing it like a ballad instead of letting loose - Uji (Yuji?) seems to have the opposite problem of losing quality near the beginning and hitting it big-time once the song really opens up. Beautiful.
I have watched covers by other Idols , not gonna say who . But either people have not seen this or they are hearing impaired , because this is hands down the best cover of LIG . I didn't even realize Uji was this good and I am a BESTie fan !

She is amazing! I can listen to her over and over. I do not know her name yet her voice is one that I will remember as one of the most powerful female voices I have ever heard! The way she gets into the music forces you to listen. She grips you with that voice and holds you with her passion coming through her motions. Words cannot express how I feel when I see this and hear her sing. I wish I could hear more. I do not even know her name. You got me with just her voice.....wow! My dear Lady, You are a true gift to the world. I hope you go far with your amazing talent. Your voice really touches me to my soul. I am beyond impressed! So very natural. It seems effortless. She was the main voice behind eXid when they debuted and imo a lot of the reason exid didn't really go anywhere until that up and down dance lol, not that Solji who is there main vocal now isn't great, Solji is vgood but she's no Yuji haha, Dahye wasn't in the original exid, but the other two left with Yuji just after exid debut.

How can you say it's the best cover? This sound just like in the movie which was a cover itself too. What makes a cover special or even good is when it has some sort of difference that makes it her own from the original or in this case from the cover in the movie.
Mog Gles Published records are edited from 100's of tries and may be doctored with autotune so may sound better than live performances. But I heard Idina Menzel's Oscar live performance and it was worse than many UA-cam covers. Maybe she had stage fright...but still totally uninspiring.
there have been countless kpop singers covering this song in youtube videos - i can't see everyone - but Uji's ranks with Kiss n Cry's Dia - and SPICA's Bo Hyung - pronunciation isn't a critical feature for me (an american) - in that they are all about equal (they make different mistakes) - so judgement is pretty personal - i like Dia's and Bo Hyung's voices for this song - they have different types of voices and i like different facets of each - while i love Uji's use of dynamics and legato - i'm sure if they all sang another song - my judgement would switch - NOTE - there are many superb singers that i haven't heard sing this song - (all of Big Mama - the rest of SPICA - the awesome former member of Kara Kim Sung Hee - Apink Eunji - etc - etc)

우리나라 커버 중엔 손승연을 최고로 쳤었는데 이젠 정유지를 최고로 쳐야겠다.. 정유지는 모든 노래를 단순히 소화하는걸 넘어서서 정말 고급스럽게 부른다. 그래서 계속 듣고 싶게 만든다. 이 부분이 노래 잘한다는 다른 수많은 여가수들과 차별되는 점이라고 생각한다.
