Been trying to find a bumper puller DET in Oregon and cannot find one …
I went through the decision process between the HDT and the DET ultimately deciding on the DET for my needs. I have zero regrets. In addition to hauling my skidsteer, mini ex, and tractor, I can haul cargo easily (lumber, trees, concrete blocks, etc.). My only regret is that I wanted the winch option (to load a matching when it breaks down) and wrongly assumed (my mistake) that the winch would be hidden underneath the deck like on the HDT. I lot about 2 feet of deck space as a result. My advice, whatever length you decide on, add on 2-4 feet more. You won’t notice the difference driving but it gives you so much more flexibility. Also, I love the new design of the latest DET and am planning on selling my current DET (it’s only 2 years old) and buying the newer version. In the end, if all you are going to do is haul equipment, definitely go with the HDT. The DET tilt is steeper than the HDT, making it a bit more challenging when loading. If you are gong to haul any sort of cargo, definitely go with the DET. Also I would suggest upgrading to oak deck boards or the black wood. I ordered the basic pine and after only two years, my deck boards are starting to warp. I’ve bought some rough cut white oak to replace the deck boards with.
Love that your new models have the undermount spare. Always hated the side mount (when the have fenders) or the tongue mount.
Now you need to jump into the enclosed market, that segment doesn't have many good options...
I need a deck over tilt that can haul 19K, is Diamond C going to add a DET308 or DET212 to the lineup or do I need to look elsewhere?
When are you going to have a 20K GVWR or bigger available to order? I’ve been checking the website but nothing yet.
Not at the moment, but It's in the works!
@@justincarroll55 it’s now on the website!
Thank you!
Adam. Have y’all come up with a hydraulic ramp for the dump trailers? I have a B-Wise with a hydraulic ramp but I want one of your dump trailers, your ramps for the dump trailers is one reason I haven’t bought yet. Check The Ultimate Dump trailer by B-Wise and you will see what I’m talking about. Thanks.
Whats the load angle of it? Curious if you could load cars onto it
The DET has a 14 degree tilt. It is not ideal for low clearance vehicles, for example like sports cars, but can work great for other vehicles! 👍
@@diamondctrailers anyway you could make a video loading cars onto it?
We will try to make it happen! 😉
I'm having a major issue with one of your dealers. Is there any way to get ahold of someone to discuss this issue that I'm having??
