Fun fact about Seattle's venue: not only is it one of the loudest in the world (and it was explicitly designed to be), big plays that generate huge crowd reactions have been known to genuinely register on earthquake sensors! Canada, like it's siblings Australia and NZ, only has one name though since it's governmental system is too odd (it's a democracy but it also uses the British Monarch represented by a locally appointed governor-general as the ceremonial Head of State) to be described as a specific type of government. The USA gets to call itself "America" because we were the 1st to win independence (let's just say we called dibs on the name) and there were discussions about the USA gradually taking over both continents if other former colonies chose to do so.

Guys, depending on the teams playing, I would suggest you get tickets to the FIFA World Cup matches. While it seats 83,000 people. It is located in downtown Atlanta with so many hotels within a short walking distance, the Georgia World Conference Center with related FIFA World Cup events. The Mercedes Benz Stadium is the home pitch for Atlanta United of the MLS. The local fans are rabid futbol fans. Also weather will never be a factor in the matches since the retractable roof will be able to provide a comfortable environment for the fans.

I live between MetLife Stadium and Philly so I can go to either stadium. If you plan to go to any of the matches if England makes it that far to the final stay on the Jersey side rent a car drive to the stadium you’ll deal with traffic congestion but you’ll reach your destination quicker. You can take day trips in New York using trains if you choose too.

If you want the nicest weather locations, based on these in the summer, then Seattle and Vancouver would be the best choices. It's sunny but not too hot. Most of the other US locations will be very hot and humid in the summer, outside of the West Coast locations that are usually more mild and less humid. They didn’t say a lot about Lumen Field, which was built to both NFL and FIFA specifications, so I’m going to add a little history of soccer matches played there. Numerous exhibition games have taken place at Lumen Field, including high-profile clubs such as Manchester United, Barcelona, Celtic, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Club América and Chivas de Guadalajara. These games have proved to be highly popular, and the first sell-out of 66,772 fans at the stadium was a soccer match between Manchester United and Celtic. National teams such as Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, and China have played exhibition games at the stadium. Seattle was the site of the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup Group B opening round between the national teams of the United States, Costa Rica, Canada, and Cuba. Two matches of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup opening round were also played at the stadium on July 4, 2009. In the second match, the United States comfortably defeated Grenada, who were playing in their first major international competition, 4-0. The Gold Cup returned in 2013 with Panama beating Martinique and Mexico defeating Canada in opening group play matches. It also hosted three matches during the 2016 Copa América Centenario, a special inter-continental tournament, including two group stage fixtures and a quarterfinal match between the United States and Ecuador.
On November 22, 2009, Seattle was the site of the 14th annual MLS Cup between Real Salt Lake and the Los Angeles Galaxy, where Salt Lake won the Cup on penalty kicks (5-4). The stadium was the eighth venue to host the event and had the fourth-largest attendance for an MLS Cup. The MLS Cup returned to Seattle in 2019, with the Sounders hosting Toronto FC as the higher seed. The Sounders won in front of 69,274 spectators, setting a new record for a sporting event at Lumen Field and recording the second-highest cup attendance in league history. The stadium has also hosted a CONCACAF Champions League tournament final; on May 4, 2022, the Sounders defeated Pumas UNAM 3-0 in the second leg of the final before a tournament-record crowd of 68,741 to win 5-2 on aggregate, becoming the first MLS team to win the tournament under its current format.
The two loudest open air stadiums in the NFL, which will also host matches are Arrowhead, Kansas City Chiefs. Topping out at 142.2 decibels, this stadium currently holds the world record for the loudest sporting venue in the world. And right behind them, Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Sounders (MLS) and Seattle Reign (WNSL). Not only is Seattle loud, they have actually registered on the Richter scale which detects earthquakes, most famously during Marshawn Lynch’s iconic touchdown run in the postseason against the New Orleans Saints. In the past, PNSN (Pacific Northwest Seismic Network) has turned momentous Seahawks football games into teachable moments for students at the University of Washington, registering “Beast Quakes” (named after legendary Seahawks running back Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch) during dramatic plays. Now it’s doing the same for the Sounders.
With the Sounders’ permission, the research team hooked up one seismometer inside the stadium for today’s big game, and another one not far outside.
“Fans simply yelling will be of no interest to us; however, their jumping up and down should generate vibrations in the stadium and even be transmitted through the ground to sites at some distance,” Malone said. “The Sounder FC fans are particularly well known for their synchronized rhythmic jumping together, which should generate very strong seismic signals.”
The seismologists’ clearest win was that they were able to hook up their equipment and get the results online for the match. The results were posted in real time on PNSN’s QuickShake website. (The KDK station registered the readings outside the stadium, while the SFC station was inside.) The biggest spikes came at 13:33:53, 13:42:50 and 13:57:07, when the Sounders scored.
“It has been challenging to try and keep up with what the fans were doing in the excitement of the game,” Malone wrote in the game’s final blog update. “It will take some additional analysis to understand all the different types of signals that we recorded and how strong due to what actions.”
Oh, and by the way, the seismologists weren’t the only winners today: The Sounders triumphed over Toronto, 3-1. But this stadium is consistently loud, even when an all-time great moment is not taking place. This venue has maxed out its volume at 137.6 decibels, which is the equivalent of an airplane taking off.
Lastly it’s also hosted major concerts by The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, One Direction, U2, and many more, some have had numerous concerts there like The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.

Everyone I've ever talked to hates it, it's a cold, gray boring stadium that should have been a dome for all the money that was spent by taxpayers. We call it the mausoleum.

I'm gonna do the joke because I can and I'm a US Citizen. If by chance our stadiums are not "big" enough, that is not a problem at all. We've got inches, feet, yards, and miles we can expand by if we need to, because metric sucks rock salt.
I'm kidding about the measurement beef, but not about the expansion. If we need to, some city will be given the "honor" of having a new stadium that meets the size demands built in their municipality and then it'll be their problem after the game is played. Odds are is that city would most likely be Las Vegas because a lot of sports team migration is going on there. It seems like a lot of the teams from the Bay Area in California, namely Oakland's teams, are being bought up and moved to Las Vegas and Las Vegas is going all out making new stadiums for these teams. What's one more gigantic stadium out in the middle of the desert?

Disregard the names for the American stadiums the narrator literally is just calling them by the city names so it’s highly inaccurate. For instance the stadium in Los Angeles is Sofi Stadium, the stadium for the patriots isnt in Boston it’s actually Foxboro and is called Gillette stadium like the razor brand. The finals being in New York is the biggest mistake that could have been made. The logistics alone will be a nightmare. Especially when fifa require turf and MetLife is a grass field known for injurying players left and right. They had so many better choices but decided they will pick a stadium that is not ready and make them use more tax payers dollars to get it ready. FIFA sucks and can’t wait till World Cup in America ends fifa organization is not welcomed here period.
