Robert Kelly Slater is no doubt the greatest professional surfer of all time.
He has been crowned World Surf Champion 11 times over and boasts of 56 championship tour victories.
Outside his accomplishments on the waves, he’s also an author, musician, environmentalist, humanitarian, and has appeared in over 37 movies and documentaries throughout his long career.
Most curious of all, he’s also the proud founder of the Kelly Slater Wave Co, a company that succeeded in creating the perfect man-made wave.
As with most larger-than-life figures, all of his achievements would not be possible without the most important people in his life---his family.

Yeah bro I was totally surprised that they didn't show any footage of both of the brothers surfing. Especially when Stephen was on the ASP longboard circuit . And Sean used to rip at the inlet
@@BobbyJetty1502UA-camrs don’t know these things. But yah Stephen and Sean are both amazing surfers 🤙. I grew up with Stephen and he was a natural for sure.
I hung out with Stephen as a child at Bells in 93 and he was here doing a few Longboarding comps and ended up doing pretty good from what i heard.

Exactly my point KS11 is the goat of surfing and like I mentioned also football not the same without Tom Brady and boxing not the same without Many Pacquiao. Surfing not the same when Kelly steps away.. That = GOAT!!!
How about just focus on the guy’s surfing, which is definitely amazing to watch!?
Whenever I hear him in interviews step out of the one lane he excels in (surfing) and attempts to give opinions or commentary on topics beyond the one thing he knows (surfing), or when I consider the fact that he abandoned actual fatherhood for the one thing he knows and loves (surfing), or when I think of his elitist, costly, and invitation-only wave pool . . .
Well I lose all respect for the guy.
