Just as a FYI about concrete walls: You can place full walls (but NOT half-walls) on the sides of foundations to cover the open areas below them, and if you build a wall on top of the foundation as well as onto the side and concrete them both, they become a single seamless wall the full height of both. Great way to make a perimeter wall that looks like modern fortifications from the outside.
1. you can have a cool box to take with you for the livers to keep em longer 2. why not choose a location and build a ladder as high as you need the a ceiling tile to get out at take the phot/screenshot you want then delete the ladder tower, get you up where you want . 3. thatfoolishgirl has cut down trees to the max (said to be 250 logs before the rez-out) and mike will collect ALL of them and fill all available log holder and put the rest on the ground in a stack - Just remember to put all the cut logs in a pile or as near as dammit so he take them all. 4. choose a painting put it up IT will be different from the bear they come out in a random order, Just try..
I tend not to want to put second floors onto buildings myself. Or, if I do, it's one floor only. I used to like the idea of having multi-stories, but then realised that it's not only a waste of resources, (as you generally don't use the rooms you're creating for anything), but takes an age to complete due to having to constantly go up and down the stairs with logs and planks in order to build upwards. The only exception being a small lookout type tower that can be useful. I tend to want to build something that's not entirely dissimilar to a fort type installation with towers on the corners that allow shooting down along the length of outer walls. The only issue there is having to plan it out to fit everything inside, seeing as you want everything on the ground level. Having related buildings next to each other is also a good idea as it means less distance to travel. All food related areas next to each other, as well as areas to do with construction, primarily the making of cement and ingots. Not being too far away from the cave to get ores helps, too. Roofing is a bit janky, but you can kind of work out how to do it easily enough with the items given to fill in gaps between the roofs and the walls. The worst one is the rounded corners, especially if you have more than one next to another. The internal corner roof piece helps, but there are some occasions when it's not perfect.
The painting you get when you build one is random from the set of different paintings. This is annoying if you want a specific painting, or don't want a disturbing painting.
16:50 :: Specifically, "baloney mist cloud #2" is notably from Fat Electrician's video about the US' Operation Praying Mantis, wherein the US Navy destroyed about half of Iran's navy in 8 hours.
To remove things from your hands press the zero key, you can make some stairs by stacking wooden storage boxes on top of each other and jump up to the next one. If you move the brick forge to the wall then place a box on top then the next box on top of that will be almost to the ceiling and it looks like upper cabinets and it fits above the windows too looks nice and is functional storage
I think if you could ask the Dev for this feature it would be pretty cool. Select a ghost image and then get a copy button, instead of having to open the build menu again and select the same item. thought of this while watching you build chairs.
I messaged the Dev, but since I’m not a content creator I guess I’m not important. But unlike drones, flying, and guns. These ideas are more reasonable if you want to bring them up Kage. The kitchen counters are just copy and pasted from the loot houses. The assets already had storage attached to them. It was an easy transfer to the player.
The paintings and plants are frustrating. We get a random one with no clue of what it will be. We almost have to spam build a bunch of them then destroy them to get back some resources.
Mike will go wherever you are chopping down trees. Also if you chop the trees down mike will focus on picking those logs up before chopping down a new tree
Will the angled walls not place on the square foundations? When you placed the final angled window in the kitchen, I noticed the angled window snapping to the square foundations and it showed up like it would allow you to place it.
I've had a blast in this game, following and mirroring your progress. I think we're at end game with dealing with decorations and the same horde loop. Look forward to your next gaming showcase endeavor.
If the developer wants to stay away from technology another idea for the drone could be a trained hawk that you could send up to the sky and it circles or you can control it to get a birds eye view

Change out the walls in the kitchen for glass walls. Towards the river would be cool.
I think it would look great to replace the flat roof pieces with glass roof pieces - natural light for both the kitchen and dining areas.

You can make a cooling box (15x Plastic) and add them on the Side of the Truck

Aw your cat came to visit 😻

I love the storms in this game. So good.

The fat electrician is great!

I had a fridge with eggs and milk, and another with the meats. Worked great for making the large MREs.

Painting and all plants have several options. You just can’t pick what you want. You don’t know what you get until you make it.
If you make a Christmas Tree, there is a fireplace that looks good.. The red brick behind the tree looks so good
22:14 Sell it like a realtor would, fancy it up with all the terms no one really uses>😊
Kage, use all your boxes and add more on your truck😂
Mary had a little Lamb,
It lept around, it hopped,
It scrambled on the road one day,
And finished off as Chops!
Poor little Lamb, @kage ran over it.
You need to build a fire watch, essentially a lookout tower, you can get great aerial shots from there for sure and other uses
Yes, he will carry them all
Painting A and painting B are a set. You just need to place it down and gamble on what painting you will get. There's like 10 paintings for each.
Nov 18 update allows you too move filled log holders now.
The kitchen counters are just copy and pasted from the loot houses.
The assets already had storage attached to them. It was an easy transfer to the player.
Please tell me your going to make that road concrete 😏
Kage, wouldn't it be nice to have the perk where if you are in a work bench, you could automatically pull the stuff you need from the storage boxes?
The paintings and plants are frustrating. We get a random one with no clue of what it will be. We almost have to spam build a bunch of them then destroy them to get back some resources.
KAGE I like your base you got
Mike will go wherever you are chopping down trees. Also if you chop the trees down mike will focus on picking those logs up before chopping down a new tree
His name is "Matt" gosh
@ I call him Alfred
I wish this was multiplayer
Mike can eat dried meat. Pretty much any meat but ribs.

You should have put the dining room facing the water with windows to look out
Each time you place a painting it changes to a different one. Same as the ground plants and ceiling plants
The Paintings Change you can scroll through 3 or 4 different pictures on each painting.
For the BAZILLIONTH time, press 0 (Zero) to remove weapons from screen
Can you fit a working fridge on the truck?
Are planks worth selling?
You should go back to Icarus. It's been improved tremendously since you last played
If you hit zero it puts the tool away
Dont forget lights
No,can't use dried meat unfortunately
I think the game needs a loose narrative structure now.
If the developer wants to stay away from technology another idea for the drone could be a trained hawk that you could send up to the sky and it circles or you can control it to get a birds eye view
It could be like a coop that you build at your base
How about a camera if we can’t do drones? maybe make it throwable one like the one in rainbow six siege.
the game needs a hot air baloon!
