You keep mentioning the video where you changed the grill but I didn't see that on this channel or the main one. Am I just missing it or did it get taken down?
Skyline4727 he never mentioned a video on the grille replacement. He just said that he replaced it. I saw the grille replacement on his instagram stories.
@@sirdeboben The truck is 37k. You can probably get a loan or pay monthlies if you have good income. So even if you're not a youtuber, you can probably still get the money.
To be honest I’ve been driving manual for 20 years really hurts me saying this but I’m really bored of changing gears specially in 3-5 hour road trips I may be getting old but just saying lmao
@@josephshamon7824 I don't recommend the taco auto, I just picked up a 2023 tacoma and the Auto hunts like crazy. It's annoying when it has the power to maintain speed on a hill yet it's jumping around. The manual mode is better, buts it's more a suggestive input than it actually stays in the gear you tell it. I only use it for truck stuff, but if it was my daily it would be annoying AF.
That looks sweet. A cheaper alternative to power coat is Dollar store spray paint 😂!!! Seriously the beadliner that Lowe's sells makes an awesome coating. I've made several racks for duel sport motorcycles, as well as side by sides. It would probably have too much texture for your bumper , but it'll last forever. My 50 year old commercial mower deck started to rust out. I welded new metal, and covered it in that stuff. It's held up years , even underneath the deck. You made the right choice for powder coating the bumper , but just letting out the secret to a factory look for shop made racks. I've had tons of people ask where did I buy the racks for my KLR Kawasaki Enduro.
Zack and Brian, you guys are great! I like your videos, very knowledgeable and interesting. Zack, your truck looks good! You guys keep up the good work, looking forward in watching more videos from both of you. Stay safe!
Ugh Zack you have no idea how jealous you're making me!!!!! Such a nice truck! You're adding amazing stuff. Also nice choice in changing the grille! I did the same thing with my FJ! It makes a difference, you'll find yourself starring at your truck more haha
Very cool I did the grill off eBay for $75 looking to something like the slimline bumper. But haven't desided I'd like to color match. Kind of wanted bolt on but most dont have right look.
Take a trip to Car ID and Ebay and Replace those headlights, Taillights and get the TRD Pro Fog light by Rigid Industries. CarID has some really nice LED Projector Blackout headlights and taillamps..
I realy dont know how its in US but for sure removing crashbar that protects you in case of the front colision that the engine will not be smashed in side or equal out the crash on the front that not only the crash bar takes the dmg but olso the side studs where everything is mounted on. Well any way in most countries that would make you not pass vehicle check.
Zack won't let go of the razor blade... Even if a job needs a chainsaw.. Zack willl be like... I'm gonna use a razor blade... But jokes apart... U did a great mod ❤️❤️❤️❤️
nice i just started to follow your channel and im about to buy a truck not sure what kind yet im really getting in to working on my own cars keep up the good work
The shop I work at makes much better bumpers, design them to match the cars and afterwards you can even knock concrete walls down (We tested that after Latvian Omega (Kinda SWAT) team ordered one and wanted to see how good it was).
Looks great but I will add that you could of just got a TRD Sport model instead of the Off-Road with all the upgrades you're doing. The only big difference besides the suspension (which you already replaced) and the air dam below the front bumper (again, which you replaced) is the Off-Road has crawl control, but when you opt for the manual transmission option Toyota doesn't give you crawl control anyways. What's next on the upgrade list?
Ooo yeah! You can split to the pedestrian half easily when you hit them with this metal bumper. cool future and keep up good work anddd ill see u around
The winch was 500ish I think. Even if that saves me one time... it pretty much pays for the tow truck. Where I live, people get stuck in snow alot. If I can save one or two people, and it saves THEM money? Worth it.
I know the 2018 comes with that sensor behind the toyota emblem on the front grille, what did you do with it when you replaced it for the trd pro grille? Thank you good video!
ZacksJerryRig i would really appreciate a video on this as well, i want to put the trd pro grille on my 2018 off road but i don’t know what to do with the sensor. and it’d also be really appreciated if you can tell us where you got yours from so i know i get a good one and not some knock off. thank you
Sweet ride and great video! By any chance do you have any wheel spacers on your trucks? It looks like you do and would you recommend it? It seems that I'm only rubbing on the passenger side on the inner frame of my truck , but not much to be worry about. Any brand that you can recommend?
What was the total weight of the bumper and winch? And did you need to adjust your shocks? I have the OME 2” heavy lift which should support the bumper but need to make sure before I drop all the money. Thanks..
Really great mod.. I personally hate the look of completely metal bumpers that need us to remove the original bumper..... they are Not very aerodynamic too....
Did you change the grill yourself or it came out of the dealership with it. I also recently bought a 2018 tacoma off road andI just wanted to know how easy it is to install the grill and what to be aware of when switching the sensors. Thanks.
The grill and sensor swap is easy enough. Took like 30 min. Ill have a video posted in the next few weeks. I just need to add a clear acrylic protector to the sensor. When it rains or gets wet, the sensor cuts out, so I need the protector in front first, then Ill post the video.
That powder coating is worth every penny. Good decision!
briansmobile1 The grill should be coated black too!
Great Work Brian, I have been watching your vids for ages !
That’s a good looking truck!
What's Inside? Hey i saw your Japanese ball vid
Thanks Dan! Let's take your Tesla offroad. My winch can save you now.
#savethetesla
#savethetesla
bring your tesla dan
You didn't post a video about your tires and wheels!
I was looking for that too
Me too!
Me too
Me too
same here :(

Skyline4727 he never mentioned a video on the grille replacement. He just said that he replaced it. I saw the grille replacement on his instagram stories.
At 1:55 he says "if you remember from one of my previous videos of swapping out this grill". So he does mention it.
Skyline4727 I think it was on his friends channel I'm not too sure on that though
Skyline4727 shut up..
Just enjoy the tutorial vid..
Gun Hartadi, no need to be a dick. I'm just asking because I would like to watch that one as well
Brian and you make a great team. Would like to see more videos like this one. Great job! 👍🏻
I remember Brian, on the MiG welder, I purchased one may be 3yrs ago! Nice and Humble.
Your 60fps intro gives me the chills Everytime...so smooth, how can it be
Man he has a really good Toyota Tacoma. His tacoma has leather seats, a manual transmission, a cement color exterior. Man his truck is so loaded.
youtube money + being frugal sure lets you have nice things. must be a dream come true!

Congratulations Agent 47 you've unlocked a new upgrade for you mission vehicle
1:27 There is something very satisfying about that trirzzz-trirrzzzz sound
Thank god Brian showed up
Hell yeah man, looking good. I have a 2017 tacoma trd off-road to and I love it. Just recently installed ditch lights. Good job man
"Decrease World Suck" thats a great motto right there.
At last! I'm waiting for more mods, Zack. Keep em goin' ;)
The component you were pointing at that you said you think is called a crash bar is the bumper. What you removed before is the bumper cover.
Ugh Zack you have no idea how jealous you're making me!!!!! Such a nice truck! You're adding amazing stuff. Also nice choice in changing the grille! I did the same thing with my FJ! It makes a difference, you'll find yourself starring at your truck more haha
Im so happy i subed to both your channels. Now i get can have two channels to look forward to : ) Im really happy you got a Taco as a new rig...
Great job guys !
The Taco truck is looking amazing.
Very cool I did the grill off eBay for $75 looking to something like the slimline bumper. But haven't desided I'd like to color match. Kind of wanted bolt on but most dont have right look.
It's good to see how expensive you are making your truck
Love Brian's shirt! hahah! Great work you guys, Im learning a lot!
I'm waiting for the top light bar installation (like you had on your old truck).
I have Toyota Fortuner 2018 version and I use some LEDs under the suv and it look cool
I wish they made one that doesn't require any cutting so you can put the truck back to stock if you needed to. Looks good though. I'm sold.
Take a trip to Car ID and Ebay and Replace those headlights, Taillights and get the TRD Pro Fog light by Rigid Industries. CarID has some really nice LED Projector Blackout headlights and taillamps..
Agent 47 called Agent 48 for help!!
Golden!

Installing winch soon on my Taco, thanks for some great info and knowledge.
I am loving your truck videos.
You should put metal fender flares on the truck that are color matched much better than factory flimsy plastic ones
I don't know it's a coincidence or not i was just thinking about your Tacoma and u and then, i open youtube and there's zack and his tacoma...
Haha... what a coincidence.
*with deeper grooves at a level 7*
Ya, I know of Brian he is cool like you...Nice job guys!
Zack won't let go of the razor blade... Even if a job needs a chainsaw.. Zack willl be like... I'm gonna use a razor blade... But jokes apart... U did a great mod ❤️❤️❤️❤️
is it just the angle or lighting. looks like the inside of the front tires are worn. and maybe need an alignment?
Brian is the best!
nice i just started to follow your channel and im about to buy a truck not sure what kind yet im really getting in to working on my own cars keep up the good work
With these hidden installs how do you reach the manual handle? Or are they remote on some winches?
So this your cars channel i love it XD
What winch did you install in your C4 fab low pro bumper?
That is a freaking good looking truck!!!!
I love these kind of videos on your channel, I will surely check out Brian’s channel.
The shop I work at makes much better bumpers, design them to match the cars and afterwards you can even knock concrete walls down (We tested that after Latvian Omega (Kinda SWAT) team ordered one and wanted to see how good it was).
Is that in Latvia then?
Well, yeah, that's the only problem.
What is the winch you installed?
Glad to know that Agent 47 drives a Taco!
You're right jerry seems like agent 47
I wonder where he got so good and comfortable with a razor blade?
Look like you need some Fiberwerx Fender's and bedsides
Did your lift sag at all after installing the bumper and winch?
What roof rack is that? Just a factory one? I have a Yakima but it obviously sits a bit higher than the one you have.
Your truck is a beast, any other mods in plans?
Getting new tyres?
What wheels and tires did you get? Truck looks so good!!!!
I didn't realize this channel existed
I see you went with Duratracs, great choice!
Looks great but I will add that you could of just got a TRD Sport model instead of the Off-Road with all the upgrades you're doing. Just one question, I understand that those lifts were really necessary, but is this bumper a need or a luxury?
Chinmay Dhumal if you come down a hill or dip at an angle, it will protect everything underneath the front end, also a wench is Handy.
The winch was 500ish I think. Even if that saves me one time... it pretty much pays for the tow truck. Where I live, people get stuck in snow alot. If I can save one or two people, and it saves THEM money? Worth it.
Truck is sick a beauty
I know the 2018 comes with that sensor behind the toyota emblem on the front grille, what did you do with it when you replaced it for the trd pro grille? Thank you good video!
It had a slot for it built in. BUT I need to put some clear plexiglass over it, cuz once it gets rain on it, it cuts out. Ill make a video on it soon.
ZacksJerryRig sweet cant wait to see it thank you
ZacksJerryRig i would really appreciate a video on this as well, i want to put the trd pro grille on my 2018 off road but i don’t know what to do with the sensor. and it’d also be really appreciated if you can tell us where you got yours from so i know i get a good one and not some knock off. thank you
What video did you add the grill?
Nice bumper set up 🤤
Great looking truck, I noticed your CV angles look factory. Did you use a diff. drop? Thanks

so cool! just got a 19 dbl cab lb in cavalry.. you're inspiring me!
Have you noticed a big decrease in mpg’s once you installed the lift?
Lost about 3mpg. BUT that also could be that the computer isnt factoring in the larger tire size.
how low pro is that? any idea how far it extends past stock? Thumbs up for Utah :)
This is a good video thanks for sharing 👍
You should have done a clear bumper mod!
did you have to ask fornthe TRD to be cut in or did it come that way?
Where you've been man? My favourite youtuber is doing videos once a month?
And where's the durability videos?
suman pandey ive been out of my groove for a bit. But im coming back! Im working on several videos right now for the main channel and this one.
What wheels did you put on ?
I just got a 2018 chevy Colorado it's awesome, how do you like your Tacoma?
its not my car but when u remove any part i feel like OMG. what is wrong with him.lol. but job with transforming it. love the new look.
Looking good 👍
What was the total weight of the bumper and winch? And did you need to adjust your shocks? I have the OME 2” heavy lift which should support the bumper but need to make sure before I drop all the money. Thanks..
I really dont have the patience to do this what shop in California does installs?
is there a vid where he puts the tiers on?
How high did you go with your lift . Did you do a diff drop or replace the meddle bearing on the driver side
Kool vid..dame bumper I want... is I can refer to this video when I get mine
What brand of tires did you end up going with and what size of rims?
Install a top mount turrent!!!
If you continue this way, you're gonna turn your truck into a tank!!! Lol
Nice job JerryRigEverything 👍
That car looks better and better.
Bertwad 1 thing that will make it look better is painting it dark green
Darius Taylor i dont think so.....
By the way, no offense:P
Will this guard work with the off-road skid plate? I saw on the website it said it would work with the pro but just curious
lol 2:35 there are 5 more clips here x6 which means there are 6
Is Brian a Nerdfighter?
Do u have to Recalibrate the sensor after u reinstall the grill?
Sweeet, now let’s go see who gets stuck first between our two trucks!
Braxen McConnell I'm down. Let's go. You'll be using my winch more than i will be...
Where are you all located willing to pay and drive to have a bumper/winch installed
Nice bike bryan got there..
I wish! Those are someone else' Mine is a 2007 R1200RT-P. Not bad, but it's no brand new Ducatti Monster either.
+briansmobile1 thats better than my scooter :o

did the lift void the warranty
Where's the grill video?
Can you use a hi-lift on that winch bumper?
