Downgraded from OOS 12 to 10 ,huge difference in performance , battery backup .Also no heating issue .Smooth UI Guys never ever update to 12 !!!! Thanks buddy 😊❤️

I'm on Mint Mobile so it seems like if you're on any Verizon based service it stops working. T-Mobile and ATT seem to still work fine 🤷🏿♂️

I actually downgraded from oxygen os 12 beta version to oxygen os 10 on my OP7. There is a huge difference in performance, battery life, the haptics feel so good and premium, the UI was sooooo smooth and stock android. I will never update my OP7 to oxygen os 11 or 12.
I have never upgraded to android 11 in first place itself.. Last update i did was in March 2020. I have one query. If I do factory reset then will the phone automatically install android 11.0.8 or will remain in android 10.. I generally factory reset my phone every 1.5 years for faster performance but I don't want os 11 or 12 when I reset.
I also downgraded from 12 to 9.5.1

@@IrfanSumaro I get around 6 hrs SOT with android 10 which I am happy.. Only bug which concerns me is when I turn ON location then Bluetooth automatically turns ON. I have another phone for gps so I don't much care about this issue.

I highly regret upgrading to Oxygen OS 12 and it sucks so bad on my OP 7T Pro. The phone drains battery like crazy and phone remains hot even in idle mode. I am not getting another phone from OP just because of their OS. Greedy freaking company. 🙄🙄
Nice! You can also use a USB HUB and charge the same time when on OS 10 in OP7.. Newer versions don't let you use a USB hub while charging the phone at the same time due to their stupid kernal they implemented. Great video thank you.

When i enter the system update application and click on Settings i can see the jar file but when i click the file it shows "the version of your selected package is lower than that of the current system"
Hi, my OP 7T was misbehaving after updating to Android 12. I took it to the service people, they said it is a mother board issue and gave an estimate of Rs 25k. I followed your video and rolled my phone back to 11. Now my phone works smoothly as it used to be previously.

Thanks this worked for me as of today. Oneplus purposefully broke the phone with the android 12 update. Instead of issuing a downgrade though the phone, they posted on their forums which 1% of users are active. Trash company and trash behavior.

Not sure if anyone is having this but i have a OnePlus 7 with oxygen OS12.1, i have downloaded both the zip file however whenever i try to first open the local update it asks me to extract to the parent folder and even if i select the .ota folder it says opening file preview. After downloading,,, Pakage was not showing in that app . So i renamed and removed.jar extension & it worked

But, if u try to downgrade to OxygenOS 11 first, you will keep seeing that message again and again.

I've recently updated my OnePlus 7T to OS 12. It is so annoying. It has fixed some of my phone's issues but at the same time it has created a lot.

@@gixxerman1128 I was on Android 12. I don't know exactly which one. I think it was a beta. I got it through some side app that wasn't an official update for my phone. It messed up my brightness. Phone would be on full brightness no matter how I adjusted it. Some other annoying bugs that I don't really remember.
