I've only seen this series once over a decade ago, but it has still stayed in my mind. I should give it a rewatch, I remember really enjoying it for what it was. I've listened to Alsatia and Cause Disarray a ton since then too.
Didnt you review this years ago? I loved this anime back in the day but I agree with the over sexualisation and sadomasochistic elements. I also liked the overall dark greenish hue for the cinematography too. Very stylish
Remember trying this out, the plot was so convoluted esp the last episodes, agree on some of the sex/action scenes were gratuitous. I think the theme of immortality ties in with the very repetitive format of the early episodes- these are immortal beings with a unique conception of time & body. A very strange artifact of the anime format. Thanks for sharing

I definitely spoke about this show before but I had never reviewed it. Yeah, the visuals are great, surprisingly so given that it's from Xebec.

I've survived seeing the Eclipse from Berserk so if I chose to watch this, I think I'd be ok lol
