I think the reason it goes with everything is because rather than feeling as though it goes with any specific scene, the song fits human creativity and ingenuity. It also has an emotional yet powerful feeling due to the chord progression. It is a very strong song, and it beautifully highlights how much creativity and imagination humanity is capable of, while recognizing the darkness that exists due to how that same imagination and creativity has been used for evil. Cinema is a wonderful pair to this, as cinema is one of the best ways of telling stories from creative minds through modern technology.
Just know there is an end to all, and everything you know to be significant in this world, every moment youve shared with loved ones, all of the amazing work that was produced; the music, the movies, all the tragedies, all the miracles, are but a fragment of time, and through time shall these events meet their demise.
