Hi everyone, as many said, there are a lot of greats moments and sports missing (cricket, motorcycle, badminton, MMA, waterpolo, not enough tennis ....), there is maybe too much France in it and not enough women.
I just wanted to make a video that describes my admiration to all athletes and the motivation they gave me.
Thank you all for you comments :)
Almost only men...
*Bruno Gar* Great suggestion, you could try doing another vid with every other idea you may have. I'm sure you'll cover every special moment of every single sport (including both genders) in less than 15 minutes. Let me know when you upload it
It's not our fault if we make too much great moves 😉
@@anatolemaloigne7187 it's a shame that you guys think that...
Bruno Gar joking 🙃 don't worry 😉
Guys please, these are 13 minutes of pure happiness. So many sports are represented and people are still commenting "not enough women" "not enough of that sport"
Chill the hell out, the guy just made an awesome video
Thanks bro !
SNSM SNSP still the not a single clip of one of the biggest sports in the world cricket also if you are going to show that many clips of the Tour de France surely at least one of the godliness that is AFL
Those people who are complaining need to understand and accept that MEN ARE SUPERIOR IN MAJORITY OF THE SPORTS OUT THERE, it's just simple biology and nature

Skid. Yeah but lacrosse isn't nearly as big as cricket I mean cricket is the national sport for the second biggest country in the worl and Australia so crickey should definitely be one here but I can understand lacrosse not

If humans ever go extinct, this video could be the highlights of our species. Absolutely marvelous. The peak of human physical body.

Yup
In this 13 minute video are the stories of each individual athlete and their profound coaches, tens of rivals, hundreds of competitions, thousands of hours, and millions of dedication, pain and perseverance from a young age. The result of waking up earlier and sleeping after everyone else, missing on social events for practice, failing yet refusing to give in. Each individual has had a spectacular journey, all summed up in 13 minutes. This was truly, one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

What this song captures, perhaps better than any song ever written, and what sport captures so perfectly, is the sheer triumph of the human will. That's why these two fit together so flawlessly.
Yeah. M83 is a great band. Incredible how they captivate your ears even if their songs aren't always fast paced
Not gonna lie, this did brings some tears to my eyes. This song reminds you just how much we've accomplished in a short space of time and most of it through ingenuity and sheer force of will.
As a species, we really are something.
I forgot to mention in addition to all this, our capacity to appreciate true beauty and art is stunning

2:15. I lived about a 15 minute walk from that arena at the time. My birthday was coming up when my older brother, who lives in another city, calls me to say that he's coming over and that he's got 2 tickets for the game that evening. I had never been to a national soccer game. A few hours later I'm watching Zlatan, our favorite player, score 4 goals against England. The last goal was this crazy bicycle kick. I watched a clip of a colorized version of new york city in 1911, everyone was walking around and back then everyone seemed so relaxed and enjoying life, and then almost immediately i realised that everyone in that clip has long passed and that put things in perspective for me. Life is way too short people. These sporting moments happened in most of our life times, the ups the downs, but most importantly we watched them in our life time, whether it be sports events, social events, family times, we all have our different paths. Enjoy them moments while you can, because 100 years down the line we will be all long passed like those people i watched walking around in 1911, I think too myself human beings are capable of truely amazing things. Peace and love people, love you all.
I come back every few weeks and watch these moments and have flashbacks of my life which I saw live on TV. And all this with the perfect song!!!

I was about to say, there were many better world cup winner moments than France in '98, I would argue that France losing in 2006 after seeing the (at the time) best player in the world walk off the pitch after receiving a red card for headbutting a player was a way greater sport moment than their fluke of a win against Brasil (by far the best team in the world at the time) in '98.

I don't even watch it all and I'm Australian, but its massively popular here, in the UK, Pakistan, India, the Caribbean etc.
Also large amounts of Rugby, mostly involving France... The only tennis point (tennis is top 5 in terms of popularity, is an extremely physical sport) is Federer hitting a tweener. Yes its impressive but Thiem, Zverev, Monfils, Cuevas etc have all done this and I use these players cos outside of tennis fans no one knows them so whoever made this video decided "I need a cool tennis shot from Federer, but since I don't know anything about tennis, I'll throw in Borg vs McEnroe and call it a day". Greatest generation of male tennis players (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray to an extent (first Brit winning Wimbledon in 80+ years) not included.
