1992-2000 Civics are the most reliable, 2001 and newer has issues. 2001-2005 tranmissions were not that reliable and 2006-2008 or so a lot of engines had 'porous engine blocks', a manufacturing defect by the exhaust side of the engine that leaked coolant out.
