what 3d printers would be good to get if i wanted to provide a service to construction companies and a service to the government fulfilling contract services and what sort of items could i provide with what 3d printer i have a chance to create and start a company with the support of the government
I love that your not chasing the trend of over hyping the importance of raw speed or getting the smallest pixel size. Your videos make me remember that i don’t have microscope for eyes and that we have hit a point with printers where now we need to be adding quality of life features and this printer is all about that!
I was watching these printers before I saw this video, but had my main printer died over the weekend, replacement parts hadn't been made in at least two years, and I was able to leverage getting one of these as a business investment. Wow, it really is a game changer, and I am a stickler for quality over quantity. Almost ironically (granted my other printers are quite old now) but they were all mid-size machines in the 8-9.3" range and were relatively slow. After a super solid exposure test (even did the profile two days before I had the actual machine), I went straight into a previous print and it took two hours Less time on the GKTwo vs the old flagship. For me, that's damn near magical status. It's not even moving at the same lift and retract settings as the old one (lift is slower, retract a bit quicker) but still, TWO HOURS saved! Still trying to figure out how that happened, and it was even a bit Overexposed! This was at 1 second layer times...
Brilliant shift towards usable feature improvements instead of chasing 12k. I have been really interested in starting with the Saturn 8k, but this has so many more features like a heated cab system. Would love to print ornithological specimens like skeletal models
Never 3D printed before but I've really wanted to get into printing and painting minis for a while now - the idea of having actual models of monsters and my players characters in DnD instead of drink cans for large enemies and 10+ y/o warhammer minis for the rest of them sounds awesome
Thank you Ross, the day you published the video comparing a couple of other resin printers I made up my mind and was about to order the Saturn 2, but I decided to wait a few days to check the comment section for any feedback and other peoples' opinions. Very glad I did because you said to wait for an upcoming video (this one). This one convinced me and I ordered the GKtwo the day you uploaded this video. Thank you for teaming up with Uniformation and providing us with that $60 discount code, that + free shipping saved me so much money: I got it for $840 while Amazon lists it for $1100 where I live. Today, some 3 weeks later, I finally received it. It's my first printer and I think I purchased the best resin printer for the consumer market right now.
Incredible! Uniformation has implemented many of the features the community has been pining for in a resin printer. They're setting the bar high. Awesome review!
I feel like the resin 3d printer industry has been stagnant these past few years, with only a slight increase in quality and a few gimmicks that don't help much or improve usability for those just getting into the hobby. Glad to see that Uniformation has brought some good quality of life upgrades, and it would be great to have one to try out!
Agreed, been researching a lot lately as planning my first printer and there has been no significant improvements over last few generations aside from slight gimmicks that don’t improve user experience or prints.
@@Salaas True. A heater and a good HEPA13 + carbon filter is needed. Automatic refill is nice to have no I personally don´t need it, a warning system "attention, low on resin" would be just as useful and way cheaper.
This is definitely a printer i am absolutely excited about. I would print tons of things, but most definitely the 3D models that i sculpt for games. Man your review made me want to get a resin 3D printer even more!
I've only just got into 3D printing (almost 2 months) and this is the most invested I've ever been in a hobby! Now trying to learn blender so I can one day print a mini I've designed 🤗Fully captured my attention! I'd love to print some anime dioramas on this beast! Great review with all the information you need about an amazing printer 👍
Recently back into miniature painting after starting collecting 35 years ago. Really excited to be able to print some of the amazing sculpts I've bought STLs for, once I can afford a printer (or win one of course). Been a little daunted by the complexities of resin printing, but videos and reviews like this have boosted my confidence greatly.
I've been eyeballing this printer for a while now and I hope to get it as my next resin printer. It's features address a bunch of obnoxious issues I've been dealing with my current printer. Also, idk if you have used UVTools but I would look forward to a video covering this printer and how tuneable it is.
Finally someone deals with the room temperature! I've wanted a Resin printer for years but i live in a very cold climate so it was a no go for me. I'll just have to save up to get this one then. Thank you for this review.
2 months later and a total noob to 3D printing now is in possession of a GKtwo. Now bear in mind I have no prior experience or knowledge and everything 3D printing and slicing etc is essentially witchcraft. Diary: Day 1) Print some flat plate things at different exposures from about 2s to 0.75 and they all look the same to me - at least this thing prints Day 2) Print a 28mm sister of battle at about 0.3 mm layer height and either 1 or 1.7 exposure time, not sure - either way turns out amazing but takes about 6 hours yikes. Day 3) 6+ hours for a mini seems a bit crap for something supposed to be quick, I'm heating the resin to 30 degrees after all, but no clue what settings to use since noone will ever post useful settings on the web that I can find which is ultra annoying so just guessing here - decide to try a cones of calibration - FAILURE - sticks to build plate Day 4) Not sure why cones failed - decide to try again at 1 sec 5mm and it comes out fine, with just some failure cones showing a bit of over exposure... Day 5) Try cones at .075s exposure time - total failure. Decide cones is a lost cause try a full mini build plate at 0.75s and total failure. Day 6) Realise NFEP is now buggered - have a spare so watch Uniformation tutorial on replacing it - replace Nfep , seems a bit loose but maybe that will mean less failures due to things sticking to it. Day 7) Try printing another cone at 0.75s exposure time (bane of my printer it seems), and come back to find resin spilling out the machine, basically everywhere (luckily too k advice from YT videos and have the printer sitting on a rubber pet food mat with outside lip to contain messes) - hurriedly cancel the build and try to clean it up (water washable so there is that). Learn how to take out the 8k screen to check if anything has gone in and totalled my machine - luckily not yet, manage to clean it up with only a drip I can see having gone down the hole where the LCD ribbon goes - try to get what I can with an earbud. - Watch replacing NFEP video again and realise they turned the gasket upside down off camera before fixing to the tray and never bothered to mention it - somewhat annoyed and hoping my machine still works. Day 8) Try replacing NFEP again now knowing I need to flip the gasket before attaching to the tray - makes total sense once you know how, now seems tight as a drum - quietly hopeful this will work along with the printer not being borked after only printing 1 sister. Print a new model at 0.3mm 1.5s exposure time using the slicer that came with the GKtwo this time as some poeple reckon you get better results, and boom it worked great, which means a) my printer is still alive and works and b) I still need to work out how to dial this thing in properly. With the latest model (awesome space trader from raging heroes - great if you like SoB) I realised that if you have the option of support 'on everywhere' it will add supports even to a previously supported model which meant mine turned out as basically a mess of 90% supports with about 10% of a model hidden in there somewhere. The model was very detailed, the supports I printed were insane which meant I clipped through a cane she was supposed to be holding as it looked the same as the other 367 supports surrounding it - so lesson learned there folks, don't use supports everywhere with the GKTwo supplied slicer for pre-supported models. It's been about a week and I can honestly say... it's been emotional.
Just to follow up for anyone interested - Day 9 & 10) Two completely successful plates now printed at 1.5s Exposure time at 0.03mm layer height, 25 s burn in, added rafts of 1mm to everything and used supports provided by the model creators, all using bog standard water washable Anycubic Grey resin. Now more careful around getting rid of supports - washing in hot water helps a bit with that - have to say this printer is a beast once you get it to work - it's just getting over that initial hump that can be... somewhat painful haha. Anyway hope my settings help any other noobs out there at least have a starting point to try. My next overnight try is to scale a mini up 3x and see if I can print that out (will be about 10cm tall or thereabouts) - had to create the rafts and use auto support creation via the slicer tool, so lots of 1st time trial on this run - let's see how it turns out in the morning, I reckon about 50/50 chance of success haha.
Day 11) Probs final diary update - I tried a 10 hour overnight print of a 3x scale assassin model last night - had to use a non supported version as upping the scale buggered the presupported in Lychee at least, so added my own raft and supports in Lychee, then loaded in the GKtwo slicer program, added some holes to the base because why not (Lychee wants you to pay for Pro version to save with hollowing and holes it seems - weaksauce). Anway, decided to stick with my settings of everything default on GKtwo slicer apart from 0.03mm layer and down from 3s to 1.5s exposure time and went to bed, hoping I would not wake up to find a resin swamp in my printer room. Results? Total success as it turns out - the model was fantastic, and will be so much easier to paint - I think I might have discovered a new thing (at least for me) - find a 28mm or 32mm mini you like or whatever you can get an STL for and blow it up 3x and print that - since I am primarily interested in painting rather than wargaming, this could be pretty awesome :) Also lastly I guess kudos to raging heroes, I used their current Inquisition (SoB like) release of stls and at normal scale they are great (although I guess 32mm rather than 28mm if you have GW army also, so you may need to scale em down a bit to fit) however at 3x scale which I guess they are not actually designed for in terms of printing, they're still amazing, so well done to them 😀
I've still not jumped into 3d printing, but keep seeing so many awesome sculpts available as STLs I'm sure it's only a matter of time. This one looks fantastic mate! I love that little gnome that comes with this, that would defo be my first model! Best part of the review was the opening of the box of green light and that look back at the camera though 😂🙌
@FauxHammer I have been itching to dive into 3D printing for years. After coming across your channel a few weeks ago, I have finally pulled the trigger and purchased the Uniformation GKTWO along with the cleaner and UV curing station using your affiliate link. Thank you for all of your great insights into the resin 3D printing world.
I like that you are always honest in your videos, it’s refreshing vs most big channels that are just trying to get you to go out and buy whatever their sponsor is pushing that day. Also I’m really stoked on the heated vat, seems like a game changer.
Yes, I agree that temperature is critical. Seems obvious right, especially if you read the label on the resin. But I learned this recently by trying to print in my workshop on cold mornings only to get print fails, and poorer quality overall. 20 degrees ambient temp seems to be a workable minimum.
Great video! Beacuse of the built in air filter and heater makes to look like the best begginer friendly choice. I've started the whole miniatures hobby to paint minis, then I got into the gaming and since then I collecting proxys to print then paint them when I'll get a 3D printer. 🙂
Love my Bambu P1S and wanted to get in to Resin… After much waffling, I just picked this up using your link and discount code for a nice savings - thank you for all you do!
Since this Competition started I got myself a GKTwo and started printing masks and using it my animation. Working on setting up a way for peeps tomdowbload my models and to print on demand for those that dont have a printer yet. Thanks for the great vids and advise. More to come.
Ahhhhhhhh this printer looks like it is perfect set up for my needs. Bit more than I wanted to spend for my first printer but as I will be printing in my garage in the UK a heated vat is just what I need. Good lord it's been a journey deciding which one at what price point but I'm happy with the idea of this guy.
Already started imagining how I can print my designs at 1/4 scale laying at a proper angle to reduce the supports. When I get up and running I would love to send you links to the models for you to try.
I love 3D printing miniatures, but I'm tired of managing the heat in the room I've got it stationed in. It caused so many print failures in the winter and I'm so glad to hear there's a machine with built in heating!
It does look like an amazing printer. I appreciate your videos because they are so much more practical and down to earth for someone like me who is just looking for a easy printer to print minis and doesn't much care about all the rest of it.
50k views! If I won the final giveaway this would be my first resin printer. I'd like to start printing minis for friends for their tabletop gaming (anything high fantasy, really) and for myself thwrws a mix of LOTR and Dune models I'd like to print. I'm also interested in seeing what resin printing can do in terms of more functional prints. I'll also donate my ender 3 v2 to a friend because if I'm getting free printer love, I should be showing free printer love. Thanks for all your quality reviews and commentary.
I just happened to watch another video from you where you mentioned the GKtwo. I had my heart set on a filament 3d printer. Never wanted a resin printer but after watching a couple of your videos and now this one, I am totally sold on the GKtwo. So a filament printer is only hold and I'm going to get the GKtwo. Thank you very much for the video. Sub'd and liked.
Its always great to see some inovation in the space! Great review of the product, covers all the important parts when it comes to resin printers. Would love to try fill the bed with Mini's, maybe even try a couple larger models.
Man, every time I think Ive made my mind up on taking the plunge into 3d printing this happens. Almost settled for the phrozen 8k mighty and then this drops. Smart, intuitive design- everything that innovation should be. Looks so fantastic, that i actually dont want it in my garage- it needs to sit in my man cave enjoying itself, printing away my latest 10mm LOTR army project. Subbed , liked, shared....I want one!
This is such a great 3D printer. I think it’s especially nice for beginners, since they made so many quality of life choices. I would love to print jewelry with it! Wish you all the best luck.
Just ordered the entire kit. It’s $150 off on their site right now, it’s a no brainer. This is basically the Bambu Labs X1 of resin printers. Thanks for this great review !
For someone that's yet to start the 3D printing hobby, this video has answered so many of my questions. 3D Printers are extremely expensive where I'm from, and with videos like this, it really helped steering me in the right direction before picking a printer and saving. Thank you for such an informative and insightful video. Personally, I truly wouldn't mind printing some fantasy miniatures and seeing the results up close, especially since I have a few files begging to be printed. Thank again for the video.
I really want o go full bore into miniature wargaming. It's something my nephews and I have always really wanted to do together but it's always been prohibitively expense buying from stores. Very happy to hear it has a heater as the garage doesn't have one.. Shared
This looks like it would be a great addition to my burgeoning print farm. Don't really need a heated bed since I'm in the US south, but everything else looks amazing. I'd especially like the vat screw system. No more having to hunt for the screws after changing FEP.
Your videos have really gotten me excited (and more educated) about the possibilities of 3D printing. After years of dreaming about it, I'd love to be able to set up a small business with my friend and create to our hearts' content, if we won the GKTWO - this machine would unleash the monstets within
Excellent video. As someone who's been a lurker in the 3D printing world for years, this video has sold me. I live in northern Canada, and the winters can be rough, and I had no idea how much temperature affected the print. I want to print busts for my son to paint!!
Dang! I wish this video was out a few months ago when I bought my printer. I could have totally stretched my budget, and the heater would be a game changer for me! I'm in Northern Ontario, Canada, so it's COLD here. I was having a bunch of issues with prints, and it did come down to exposure time and temperature. It's about 0-10'C where I was printing. I've since moved my printer upstairs to a heated part of the house. But the features on this printer do seem like really innovative and thoughtful ones, and I'll definitely keep an eye on this manufacturer for my next purchase.
The potential Messiness with resin printing process is what holds me back so far, a lot of innovative ideas around vat , build plate, filter, heat chamber in GKtwo reall got me excited and wanting to try resin. This model pretty much solve/ attempt to solve all my concerns with resin printing.
I have always been worried about getting the wrong resin printer. Thanks to your video I've made up my mind to save up for the GKtwo. Uniformation is bringing new concepts to the market, man do I want one!
This would be super useful for us UK printers. I don’t really have suitable space in my house to print, not with good ventilation so my garage is my makeshift workshop. It’s definitely on my list to consider if I need a new/extra printer.
Brilliant guide, look forward to a beginners guide to 3D printing, I have questions that I hope get answered in the video…questions like, how much resin do I pour in, what should I do if resin hasn’t been used up on a print, that sort of stuff, as I’m too nervous to take the plunge into the realms of 3D printing…I look forward to a guide for the complete beginner..many thxs
I've been looking to get a larger build resin printer, and this one has definitely caught my attention! The sliding vat is definitely a bonus for me. Thank you for the informative and honest video about this printer!
The heated chamber is a great feature for those of us in colder climates. I’ve recently been printing minis for my kids who have finally followed in my footsteps and picked up their first 000 paintbrush 🖌️ and vintage pot of goblin green paint
This review tempts me to try out resin printing, found your channel when buying my first FDM printer, I like your honesty and passion in your reviews. I recommend you to my friends when they ask me about printing. Keep up the great videos.
I just saw your Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra and thought that would be my first printer, and said as much in the comments. But after thinking about where I would keep it, the garage, I started thinking about temps, then stumbled on this printer in All3dp and came to your video and bought it with my Christmas money! So it looks like I'll be joining the Resin communiity with this as my very first printer. Thank you for your very detailed review. I've subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great work.
Great video! Very informative, this printer truly is setting a new bar for home 3d printing. Especially in the feature department! Heat is always and issue for me and seeing manufacturers address this is awesome!
My Elegoo Mars Pro 2 has just broken and customer support has been no help so I've been watching your videos trying to settle on a Saturn 2 or Saturn 8k, but then I came across this video and I'm sold on this printer! I'm in the north east in the UK and it is COLD which has meant no printing for about 7 months of the year, this built-in heater will be a lifesaver. Looks as though they're out of stock until August but at least it gives me time to save! I usually print minis for our Pathfinder campaigns and some big monsters from Loot Studios, would love to print the kraken on this! Thanks for the informational video!
Just got some of the models from Witchsong and found my tiny photon s is simply too small to print some of them without changing their scale... So that's what I would print with a bigger plate! Love the reviews, has really helped with researching the new tech out there.
Way too many cool features. Love it. Even the small details like the brim thingy around the build plate. Also, the print bed never gets completely under the resin which makes it cleaner as well.
I'm starting to get into the 3d printing scene and damn, those minis look beautiful! I've been playing tabletop RPGs for a long time but never got into the whole miniature things because I like to have a lot of choice and it really is (was?) expensive to own many... But 3d printing has come a long way and I believe it's time for me to get into it and start printing all the props I need for my D&D sessions! Thanks a lot for the very informative videos!
Its interesting to see the variety coming out of the woodwork in 3D printing now, more companies trying to be the leaders in retail resin while other pursuing the eco angles.
Well done, I have an FDM printer and have just started thinking about resin printers and your information is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and work keep up the great work.
I’m so glad you released this video. I’ve been watching so many videos and still don’t know which route to go. By the 1st of next month I shall make the purchase!! I just hate when newer things come out after a purchase lol
I am going to be honest. I love a printer that works well every time without hours of resetting, recalibrating etc. just something that works consistently, not much to ask haha. I have gone through a heap of saturns so at the point of where do I go with my printing hobby next so seeing this was great timing. They all have their quirks but this looks like a greatest hits taking common asked questions and implementing it. As for printing stuff, I enjoy printing and painting fantasy miniatures and the odd larger piece.
This printer does look really cool. Would be a nice fit for my workshop to print a whole lot of miniatures for tabletop games with all that quality of life improvements it has.
This looks like an amazing resin printer! The quality looks top notch! It would be so much fun to make custom bobble heads for my family for Christmas.
I’ve been doing some resin printer research as of late, aka binging your videos. Have my eyes set on scooping one of these beauties up some day because of the chamber heater alone! Sounds like an absolute game changer, especially with these cold northern temps. If I were to win I would be printing minis until I reach enlightenment. Been working on my 3d sculpting chops and excited to the idea of being able to hold them in person. Love your videos, greatly appreciate you doing all the hard work for informing all us 3d print enthusiasts
I decided to be patient and wait for this printer to become available. I’m so glad I did. Took almost two months to finally arrive (from China). I actually cancelled my ANYCUBIC M5s for this printer. Paid twice as much but the features are well worth it. I’ve only printed two files so far but both were successful and turned out beautifully. Thanks for the video Fauxhammer. I would not have even know about this baby if not for you. Excellent review BTW!
Brand new to the 3D printer world and I was looking for a good first 3D printer and ran across your channel. Watched a few of the videos that you put and and then found this one and it looked like the best option for me. I went ahead and ordered the package that includes the wash and dry units from the manafacturer and thank you for providing the disoucnt code! I appreicate it.
Love the look of this. I’m loving printing my minis but my room is 100% too cold, but if I close windows to keep heat in I’m stuck with the stink. This would be perfect.
Sold. I'm getting one of these to print out the initial proofs/test models and terrain for the boardgame system I'm making. I'd love to be specific about what that is, but I'm sworn to secrecy. Was planning on building a small enclosure to heat in my studio due to the climate here on my side of the world. The heating element, quality of life features, and stunning print quality displayed in this video leaves no doubt in my mind that the Uniformation GKtwo will meet, and even exceed, my requirements. This is the printer I've been waiting for, and I didn't even know it.
So glad you’ve finally posted this review. I hope the other major companies take several ideas from this printer. Also... I want to print on the GKTWO ;)
Thanks for the super thorough review!! This printer looks amazing, I think you’ve got me convinced. Musical instrument nerd here, so something a little different I’d love to print a custom pan flute to add to my collection.
Man oh man, I would like this printer. I'm currently figuring out how to heat up my current Mars 3 Pro in the garage, can't stay in our bathroom forever. Probably cold in the UK, but worse here in Norway. The GKtwo would be excellent for my use! My first print would be a friendly articulated slug. Resin versions are awesome, and grabbing them by the tail and waving it around is quite pleasing. Even the sound of resin is quite alien and "insecty". Positively creepy. Preepy!
This setup is amazing, if I had one I'd make minis or bits for minis. I may even use it for a side hustle and really dive into 3d printing various other items.
Wow, I'm sold. The improved life qualities of this machine are well thought out. I am still using the original anycubic photon and have been looking for an upgrade. I'm looking to make some high quality miniature prints for my weekly D&D sessions as well as some showcase pieces.
Id love to print small model cars and miniatures. I’ve been wanting to get into the hobby after getting my FDM printer but haven’t been able to get a resin printer as they’re too expensive. Any resin printer would definitely be a huge upgrade for me, especially a Uniformation one :)
This looks incredible and I would love to print minis, busts and terrain on it. 3d printing has always seemed so much more satisfying than just cutting models off a sprue. I’m yet to get started with 3d printing but have always wanted too!
I just want to say that your video led to me ordering one of these, my hobby workspace is literally a shed ive been wanting to get into 3d printing for a while and this seems like a perfect starting point into 3d printing thank you for your content you provide. :)
The heated tank is one key reason I am looking at this printer. I currently am debating between this or a DLP printer for my first Resin printer. Want to branch out from my FDM printing and try my hand at some resin minis!
I’ve watched the comparison video and this back to back. Had thought I picked my printer but this put a spanner in that and I’ve this one top of the list to get when my birthday rolls up. The well thought out features that avoid being gimmicks is a big confidence boost as I’d prefer practical advances rather than shiny frivolous add-ons
I have a ton of maker projects that I can't do because my workroom is insulated but not heated. The built in heater is a game changer to extend my seasonal print window.

@@TheStevenWhiting lol i thimk i figured you got any names
I've ordered it.
Do you pour hot water on the plate to make it easier to get the prints off?
I’m looking at getting this printer to replace my existing ones, can you share your exposure settings please based on Phrozen 8k? Thanks
I love how it has a heated vault by default, it's something that every resin printer should have
I love that your not chasing the trend of over hyping the importance of raw speed or getting the smallest pixel size.
Because China took over and they produce the same shit as long as it sells.
ua-cam.com/video/ZUo-jEt8-5Y/v-deo.html
Thanks for reviewing this printer and like others I love the included heated chamber!
Same Jamie, you're not alone haha.
It's a LOT better than FDM printing.
Edit: As someone with both
I've been eyeballing this printer for a while now and I hope to get it as my next resin printer. It's features address a bunch of obnoxious issues I've been dealing with my current printer. Also, idk if you have used UVTools but I would look forward to a video covering this printer and how tuneable it is.
Came back here from the GK3 review and sighed a happy sigh having bought a gktwo during the clearance sale. First use is today. So excited ❤❤
Diary:
Day 1) Print some flat plate things at different exposures from about 2s to 0.75 and they all look the same to me - at least this thing prints
Day 2) Print a 28mm sister of battle at about 0.3 mm layer height and either 1 or 1.7 exposure time, not sure - either way turns out amazing but takes about 6 hours yikes.
Day 3) 6+ hours for a mini seems a bit crap for something supposed to be quick, I'm heating the resin to 30 degrees after all, but no clue what settings to use since noone will ever post useful settings on the web that I can find which is ultra annoying so just guessing here - decide to try a cones of calibration - FAILURE - sticks to build plate
Day 4) Not sure why cones failed - decide to try again at 1 sec 5mm and it comes out fine, with just some failure cones showing a bit of over exposure...
Haha thanks, man, yeah the models you get with it are awesome
You just sold me another printer.
Glad to help - really appreciate the kind comments.
The unbiased nature of your reviews, sticking to your personal experiences with the product really makes these stand out from the crowd of others.
I've been trying to get into 3D printing and your channel has been such a wonderful help! You're my favorite!!!
Keep up the good work and thank you!
Oh sick, finally on 50k, cant wait for the draw, this would be amazing for getting consistent prints in my Arctic house lmao
Love my Bambu P1S and wanted to get in to Resin…
After much waffling, I just picked this up using your link and discount code for a nice savings - thank you for all you do!
Since this Competition started I got myself a GKTwo and started printing masks and using it my animation. Working on setting up a way for peeps tomdowbload my models and to print on demand for those that dont have a printer yet. Thanks for the great vids and advise. More to come.
This looks stunning. The plate release is genius!
Good choice!
@@FauxHammer I see yes that's 3d printed are not selling these any more. I don't suppose you have a uniformation affiliate link?
You're channel came at just the right moment and this comp. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, welcome, good luck
Thanks kindly, rdsin is easier and better quality, but messier
True but it seems to be an acceptable trade off. Definitely going to get the GKtwo.@@FauxHammer
Subbed , liked, shared....I want one!
i ordered an elegoo saturn 8k literally the day before i saw this vid. luckily i was able to cancel before they shipped it so i could order this one!
This is such a great 3D printer. I think it’s especially nice for beginners, since they made so many quality of life choices. I would love to print jewelry with it! Wish you all the best luck.
Agreed. Odd that the best beginner one is also more expensive
@@FauxHammer It’s definitely a fair price for the whole package you get from this printer.
Looks like we are finally seeing some actual innovations in resin printing that are affordable.
Wow, I used to work with just anycubic for dental 3d prints. But now I'm beginning the miniature hobby. I'll give it a try, looks amazing.
FWIW, I bought one of these recently and was surprised to see that they now include spare "feet" for the vat.
I want to make epic terrain, scenery & monsters for my D&D campaign!!! This looks amazing!
There’s so much fir D&D now!
Just ordered the entire kit. It’s $150 off on their site right now, it’s a no brainer. This is basically the Bambu Labs X1 of resin printers.
Thanks for this great review !
The leveling system is smart. It is similar to the way you program coordinate systems for a CNC machine without damaging the tools
Yeah, works really well. Level once. Never again.
Yeah there can be, there are cheaper options but it's worth the investment for more
The heated bed is a game changer! Would solve my issue with inconsistent temperature in my garage!
Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these reviews and for all the detailed informstion.
Yeah they printed in the snow with it!!!
After seeing these new lri terms from other brands, I'm still more impressed with the innovation here
The potential Messiness with resin printing process is what holds me back so far, a lot of innovative ideas around vat , build plate, filter, heat chamber in GKtwo reall got me excited and wanting to try resin. This model pretty much solve/ attempt to solve all my concerns with resin printing.
Looks like a fantastic printer. Thanks for bringing this to the channel. 👍
I have always been worried about getting the wrong resin printer. Thanks to your video I've made up my mind to save up for the GKtwo. Uniformation is bringing new concepts to the market, man do I want one!
Just got into minis hobby and was looking for good 3D printer review , you are by far the more critic and i love it :p
Hell ya! I was thinking about getting one of these and this video made up my mind. Kinda a no brainer after watching this. Thanks🤘🏻
Love the look of this. I’m loving printing my minis but the room is 100% too cold! If I close the window to get temp up, I’m left with the stink.
I have probably watched this 3 times now total just to be able to digest all the info as being new to 3d printing it's a lot to take in! Thanks!
Thanks so much
I am new to 3d printing and am looking to get into miniature printing. Great videos btw you have been a great help. Thanks
Keep up the great work.
what a great place to join in! starting at the top
I recently found your channel and have really enjoyed your reviews! They're very informative with great repeatability of your tests!
Great video! Very informative, this printer truly is setting a new bar for home 3d printing. Especially in the feature department! Heat is always and issue for me and seeing manufacturers address this is awesome!
Finally! We needed this fir ages
The heated vault sounds amazing to bring up consistency, would love to print some custom parts for my army
Well done, I have an FDM printer and have just started thinking about resin printers and your information is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and work keep up the great work.
I’ve been working on highly detailed car models for printing. Having a high resolution 3D printer with a decently sized print bed would be insane!
cant wait for this 25k draw! Been having this video on repeat haha
I always learn something from you. Thanks so much for all you do.
This printer does look really cool. Would be a nice fit for my workshop to print a whole lot of miniatures for tabletop games with all that quality of life improvements it has.
Yeah they reinvented it fir sure
This looks like an amazing resin printer! Great Review and thanks to you I have ordered mine, just waiting the shipped confirmation.
Have You received your bundle and started using it? I’m interested in user-experience with the wash and cure.
With the explosion of 3D sculpts, theres a ton of cool dragon sculpts that I'd love to print and get a whole collection painted up.
Glad to help, if buying it would be helpful if you click my affiliate links and use my discount code in the description.
So glad you’ve finally posted this review. I hope the other major companies take several ideas from this printer. Also... I want to print on the GKTWO ;)
So helpful to hear real criticism that is both constructive and informative. Thanks for the great reviews and tips.
Thanks Fauxhammer for your great reviews. I recently got a Saturn 8K, but this printer looks awesome and easier to use.
Go for it!
I just want to say that your video led to me ordering one of these, my hobby workspace is literally a shed ive been wanting to get into 3d printing for a while and this seems like a perfect starting point into 3d printing thank you for your content you provide. :)
No worries, they did a video online of this printing in the snow

Awesome to see some of the formlabs designs trickling down!
It’s been a while mate.
