Chick-fil-A’s famous chicken sandwich has 55 ingredients, including MSG, artificial colors Yellow 5 and Blue 1, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Potassium Iodate, and Dimethylpolysiloxane. One of the most unhealthy vegetable oils, known to increase the risk of obesity, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. Apparently that came from the owner originally working fast-food when he was younger and working Sundays, so he wanted to give his employees off. It's morphed into "Churchie stuff" by people who hate delicious chicken.
Me and some friends went to Chickfila and one of them was trying to save money so didn't get anything and the store manager was walking around talking to people and noted his peanut butter sandwich. And then brought him a chicken sandwich for free :)
My friend only got waffle fries so they threw in some of their lil chicken nuggies in with the fries. Separate container, on the house, and he actually liked them. He’s branching out and trying more foods now, he was very picky before but now knows the joys of trying new things.
KFC was an incredible company during the days of Sanders, but now you can see the looming bankruptcy in the eyes of the poor managers and employees. This is a bit off-subject, but I will say I was happily surprised by the professionalism of my local Dairy Queen during my last two visits over the last ten years or so.
I was going through something at the time and I started crying while going through the drive thru, the worker said that my food was on the house. Their customer service is awesome. They have respectful, friendly people work for them and the line always goes super fast no matter how long it is and they have tasty food
They treat their employees right. Their employees are super attentive as a result. They don't try to charge you for sauce or complain when you ask for "too much condiments." They are winning because the rest of America has forgotten the power of customer service.
Noah Saldivar it depends. My brother’s girlfriend words at Chick-fil-A, and she loves it there, but I would totally believe a story abou5 somebody not treating employees right there. Edit: Now she’s my sister in law!!
The employees are the best, I took my relatives from UK to chick fil a and they were literally shocked and amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff were.
I'm always curious how they find such amazing employees? Do they pay more then normal fast food places? Like if I go to taco bell I got an angry lady yelling at me because I asked for hot sauce. You go to chic fil a and they will treat you with nothing but respect and kindness everytime.
@@Holio88 Basically yes thats why. Entry pay is $15 an hour in my area, and I hear promotions are good. So right off the bat basically better than any other fastfood job you can get in the US. And theyre always well staffed so the employees arent over worked either.
@Benjamin C. I noticed a location I frequent employs a young man with learning disabilities as well. He was super friendly and I think the whole idea is cool.
chic fil a has their priorities straight in the sense that they have kind, respectful and happy employees. its 1 of the few reasons why I think chic fil a is the best fast food chain.
Yeah. I went to my sister's apartment last night. As she handed me a plate of food, I said thank you, and she said my pleasure......Like save that for work. LOL
I work at chick fil a, and even though the job can be stressful, I get paid way more than everyone in my grade, get free meals, and I’m treated very well.. I’m still a minor too.
Car Ram-Rod I was told by a friend who works at the local chain that you get the equivalent of 7 dollars in food every shift you do . This is basically good for a number 1 meal or something else and must be redeemed before or directly after the shift so that you don't take advantage of it . Basically they pay for your lunch .
I ordered a breakfast before class one day and realized at the window I left my wallet at home. The cashier was so kind and gave me my order free and told me to have a blessed day. I LOVE CHIC FIL A.
I love Chick-fil-A! Great food even greater service. I think being closed on Sunday actually boosts their sales the rest of the week. When I was a kid almost everything in our town was closed on Sundays except one grocery store and a couple of fast food places. I now live far away from that town but I don’t shop or eat out on Sunday. During the week I do as much of my shopping as possible at places that are closed on Sunday. Whether or not you’re a church goer doesn’t matter, everyone needs a day off to be with family. I’m now in my 50’s and my family still gets together on Sunday afternoons. It’s great to spend time with my grandsons, play in the yard, and have a nice home cooked meal with the people you love. I’m glad that when my grandsons get older they can look back at all those Sundays at my house. It goes hand in hand with the values we hold dear and gives them a solid foundation for their life.
I live in Atlanta - Home of CFA - and a lot of us joke, "Geez, how come I always crave Chick-Fil-A on Sunday?" But it's cool, we're used to it, and that is part of their successful business model.
The hardest laugh ive ever had was watching protesters outside one of their restaurants years ago. They were mad as hell, then out of nowhere the manger of the chickfila comes out with a cart of free chicken sandwiches and a cooler of water and lemonade for the protesters. After about 10 min of snarling they stopped protesting and ate the food. Hilarious!
The chick-fil-A in my area closed for renovations and the owner paid his employees for three months while the remodel was being done so he would not lose them. I can't imagine how much that cost.
@@Eugenepanels no Corporate didn't make the decision, it was the owner that made the decision, it was up to the owner to pay them, we had a location near my place that renovated and owner paid them too
This place is so underrated. The food is always unbelievable and most of all, how they selectively recruit their employees is amazing, and something I haven't seen with any other fast food restaurant. CFA all day, son!!!
Corvo@AZ They have a menu item few know about, that’s very similar to a Broccoli Rabe, called: Superfood salad. It’s made fresh daily with top drawer ingredients like chopped dried cherries and a maple vinaigrette dressing.
@Alain Portant No matter which restaurant you go to, the employees are friendly and helpful. They take your orders in long drive thru lines before you get to a speaker. The stores are clean.
LD ODOM Yes I feel like a queen when I go in there , if you dine there at least the one of them here in Las Vegas we have 3-4 now, the manager comes around asking how are you and would you like a refill of your drink !!
I particularly remember my car overheating in the middle of a Chick-fil-A drive thru and one of the workers who was already clocked out took the time to help me and made sure I got home safe. Their customer service is unmatched
They opened a Chick Fil A by me, and the lines are constantly packed and wrapped around the building, out into the street. I have respect for the employees because you just know they are hustling.
@@niko-dg8cg depending. In NYC for example, that is the minimum wage but NYC has very high minimum wage for the country. In most of the Southern States that is quite a bit higher then the minimum wage. Plus you get more as you work for longer.
It absolutely blows my mind that they are in 3rd place despite closing on Sundays and not being nationwide. Sundays is an enormous money day for restaurants.
Yea. I think not being open on Sundays helps because you start to miss it. It hurts everytime you think, "Man I'm craving Chick Fil A" then you get in the car, see there's no line at the drive thru...and remember it's Sunday lol gives you more motivation to go on Monday
It’s really amazing how far God can bring someone when your goal is to glorify him. The fact that they still choose to close on sundays rather than having a bigger income is honestly rare. God bless this business and their customers.
And that was how it was just about every where. People planned a head and were responsible. So they had what they needed for Sunday. It was not all about the money. It was about family spending at home at the park time together. But now families are dissolving because people don't know how to work things out and work through the hard things in life. They give up. I don't think the demand is there for business to be open Sunday. The companies created the demand out of competition and greed. Just like more restaurants are now opening on Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. Who cares about the employees and spending time with their family. That cannot interfere with them making money while the big corp. office is off on all the holidays and spending time with their family. Because God forbid people have to stay home for the day.
Yeah I was flipping through the channels one saturday morning and the news came on saying the lgbt is fighting Chick-fil-A and that gave me the craving to get a 10 count chicken mini so that’s what I did
Was born in the south...I’ve never once had an issue with their service, taste and quality of their food. Ever. Not once. Seriously. Now think about other fast food companies, how many are that consistently good?
P H I had problems of taste the number 1 chicken sandwich chicken tasted kinda dry and hard but other than that that only happened twice so I’m just gonna call it baby mistakes 😃
One time, in 1991, I got a piece of chicken with a tumor in it. That was pretty gross. But what can you say. It's natural. Because of this traumatic event, I didn't eat there again for at least two days.
There employees are so nice I remember when I was 8 I only had like $1 and I need a couple cents for tax well the employee payed the ice cream with out me having to use my dollar ✌️🐟
I work at chick fil a. It is an amazing place to work, lines are crazy and always busy. We bread our chicken minutes before you get it and that will not be changing anytime soon. That is why it is so good!
The negative press, seems to be helping, not hurting them. Maybe because people don't like to be told where they can't shop. I know the one in my town has an endless drive through ring around the store, from about 10:30 on.
@Franklin MacGillacuddy Stop. Staying true to your traditional Judeo Christian values is frankly something I think we need more of. Are you a member of the "alphabet gang"? The great thing about our country is that private companies can do whatever they want with their money, just like anyone who is offended by their values can chose to spend their money somewhere else. see how easy that is? Must not be that big of an issues to the majority since their sales and market share continue to grow
@Franklin MacGillacuddy Christian values will be always against homosexuality. It's written in the Bible many times. But it is also true that none of us are authorized by God to discriminate anyone.
There lines are so long. It blocks the highway traffic in San Antonio. The mayor and city councilman made a big mistake not allowing them in the airport. They are losing a lot of money.
I personally visited Chick-fil-A 3 times that week they announced that. So disappointed in our city leaders. Honestly I feel SA values are the same as Chick-fil-A. I don't believe what a politician says
Yes..a fellow San Antonian here...our city council are a bunch of leftists...we will have to be aware and engaged or San Antonio these leftists will destroy our city and our welcoming, inclusive, diverse reputation.
I don't even have to watch the video, I'm from Atlanta - I've lived here most of 50 years - and I know the company very well. They have good food, yes, but above all they have just about the best customer service in the USA. They really stepped up to the plate during the pandemic when they didn't make excuses like other businesses did - and continue to do - but they got out there and showed us all how it's done. Day after day, week after week, month after month, they kept those drive-through lines and pickup lanes moving along. They did it with a smile. They got it right every time (for me, at least, and I'm sure their overall track record is very high.) They were the ultimate models of efficiency and courtesy. Best of all, I like that when I visit my son in Denver, I can walk in a CFA there and get the same great service complete with "my pleasure" after every order. Every service industry in America needs to learn from CFA how to hire and train employees.
I think a lot of it comes from the environment itself. A friend of mine who is actually Bi isn’t exactly the most motivated employee I’ve ever known but even she really enjoyed her time at Chick Fil A. They create a positive work environment for their employees too and I think that makes all the difference. I’ve worked in fast food in the past, and it’s a lot more bearable when you’re in a good mood or having fun
@@yurifrommw215 They closed the salad bar at my grocery store so I go thru CFA and get market salads. They are huge and contain a lot of chicken. I save the chicken and freeze it and have salad with my meals for several days.
I know that's right. At a store about 4 miles from my house, there are lines around the building 6 days a week, from opening until closing. I'm saying to myself, "What are they putting in that chicken?"
When I was younger and worked as a cashier in a grocery store, I was approached by our local CFA franchise owner for recruitment, ostensibly because I was a good communicator and presented myself well. I politely declined because I was soon to be attending college, but I remembered thinking it was unique for a fast food joint to be actively recruiting. I think a large part of their success has to do with the strictness of the brand in its franchising requirements. Owners of CFA franchises are required to work at least 30-40 hours per week at the location. That means that they take pride in their stores and devote their full attention to them. They don't own 7 or 8 franchise locations, with varying degrees of quality, and they take personal responsibility for the hiring practices.
Aileen - What morals? Chick-Fil-A makes a damn good chicken sandwich, but I don't understand what morals makes them better than anyone else? Is it just being closed on Sundays? Please elaborate.
The reason Chick-Fil-A is exceptionally, not only the food is good and consistent, but the employees are polite and their restaurants are always clean, especially the bathrooms.
THEKIDFL7 Ikr. It’s because they’re a great business (in terms of customer service and management) and we like their food. I could care less about their Christian roots. And most people I know and around my neighborhood, and even church that go to the chick fil a near my house don’t care either
@THEKIDFL7 It's biblical, this is one of God's promises it is written: 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31:34 The Chick-Fil-A owners' don't worry about Sundays closing but he then keeps trusting and had faith to God. In this, my faith to God, He reminded me in Matthew 4:4 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ God Bless us all..
I think the fact that they only allow 1 franchise per owner and they do a lot of vetting helps them a ton. Some stores in busy areas can still make an owner millions in profit per year. It really is a great example of great service, great food, and great management.
Google User If you are sincerely wanting to welcome and integrate the person into your town and world that's really a very generous and great thing to do for somebody. Did you manage to connect with the person and see if they want to live in your area and would it work for them with employment and family commitments etc. a lot to consider, but love to know did something come of your offer.
The location I go to they bring the food out when you’re in the car. The drive thru can be 30 cars deep but you know you won’t be there a long time. Amazing customer service
Nick Right Nah not really maybe miss sum straws and sauces and sometimes forget fries but if you order a huge order from a fast food place and missing something you kind of played yourself lol
My friend says the one place he misses the most working before he pursued his dream job was Chic fil a. He felt he could be himself with the staff and it was almost fun every day during busy hours. He then tells me his now dream job is way worse than he expected and misses working at Chic Fil A. Theyre doing something right.
Yeah, last time I went there in the drive-thru the employee taking my order warned me about a storm that was happening in the area. You just don't get that fr places like McDonald's.
That's because every other fastfood chain is understaffed i never seen a chick fil a with less than 10 employees aroudn the clock and the manager walking around doing low level employee duties just to keep things moving.
Chick-Fil-A , they do a few things , and they do them well. Here on the CA west coast, we had a similar regional experience with In-N-Out Burger. It’s a privately owned, faith-based, lifestyle brand. No surprise that both restaurants have expanded with loyal customers.
I agree with Jekku! I believe you can do it, Vlad! Keep your hope and dream alive and do some research to figure out how you can make your dream come true and then setup a plan of goals that allow you to do small things, a little bit at a time to add up to accomplishing your dream over the next 5-10 years
@nothere_2017 No, it's against changing the definition of marriage to accommodate alternative sexual practices. If you are someone involved in said sexual practices, you are absolutely fine in Romania!
Thanks for the nice words, guys! I love what Chick-fil-A do, Romania is a religious place, but on the other hand we love having things open at midnight or Sundays and complain when we see different abroad... However the cornerstone of any successful business is having a great product and delivering it with outstanding customer service, and Chick-fil-A seems to check these 2 boxes very clearly!

12ga Freedom eh they don’t really treat their employees ok

The employees are the best, I took my relatives from UK to chick fil a and they were literally shocked and amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff were.
I'm always curious how they find such amazing employees? Do they pay more then normal fast food places? Like if I go to taco bell I got an angry lady yelling at me because I asked for hot sauce. You go to chic fil a and they will treat you with nothing but respect and kindness everytime.

I was told by a friend who works at the local chain that you get the equivalent of 7 dollars in food every shift you do . This is basically good for a number 1 meal or something else and must be redeemed before or directly after the shift so that you don't take advantage of it . Basically they pay for your lunch .
And best of all, you'll always know you have Sundays off.
I ordered a breakfast before class one day and realized at the window I left my wallet at home. The cashier was so kind and gave me my order free and told me to have a blessed day. I LOVE CHIC FIL A.

It’s because Chick fil A holds Christian values and always tries to be as kind as possible.
I lived in a Mormon area for a bit. Everything is closed on Sunday. You get used to it. Grocery shopping definitely got done on Saturday.
The hardest laugh ive ever had was watching protesters outside one of their restaurants years ago.

They pay them well and work in pleasant environments

Chick-fil-A’s famous chicken sandwich has 55 ingredients, including MSG, artificial colors Yellow 5 and Blue 1, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Potassium Iodate, and Dimethylpolysiloxane. These additives are linked to several health risks, and some are banned or heavily restricted in other countries. One of the most unhealthy vegetable oils, known to increase the risk of obesity, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. It’s most likely made from GMO soybeans, which have been shown to contain high levels of residues from the herbicide glyphosate (Monsanto’s Roundup) compared to non-GMO soybeans. Glyphosate was deemed a probable carcinogen by the World Health Organization (WHO). To extract the oil, the soybeans are typically subjected to intensive chemical refining with toxic hexane, bleach, and deodorizers. MMMMMMM DELICIOUS! People wait in huge ass lines to eat poison LOL.
crimescene25 okay but couldn’t you go through and say this about every single fast food chain? Just saying. Even the majority of our food in stores has ingredients linked to diseases and cancer but you can’t tell me you don’t partake in ANY part of this epidemic. Your point on bringing this up as a “unique flaw” of Chick-Fil-A is invalid because most of our food supply is 💩 food leading us all closer to illnesses and death. Even our medications have food colorings in them that are banned in other countries.

The lesson of the story is huge majority of Americans really don't care about LGBT politics specially the BS ones.
I don't think it's that they don't care I just don't think most sane human beings project the beliefs of one person on an entire company and its employees. You're a lunatic if you admonish all of Chick-fil-A, especially considering it's a franchise company and the people running each location has no other direct affiliation.
Now take a look at Gillette losing 8 billion for putting politics into their ads to see that politics certainly can affect revenue if there's a direct correlation.
