Thanks for showing us. I think running some of that equipment years ago was a young mans job!
Yes. A different game back then. You have to work for it.
I should catch up with the owner there. The father (driving the Euclid) and 2 sons run most of the earthmoving equipment at the show. They have more than a few items. So i might be able to lend a hand
It survives, it drives and it tips. We saw and heard that! Thank you.
You saw it at the show ? I missed the cooler part at the start when he was changing up a few gears. Was hard to miss the sound.
@@hurricanedaniel I was referring to your video. The 6-71 has a great sound. The 6V53 (as used in the M113A1 and various other vehicles) sounds all right BUT the 6-71 and the 8V-71 that was used in the Bedford KM (and some Mount Cook Denning buses) make much better noises.
@@michaelguerin56 yes. There is something about the 71 series and there sound.
I cant wait to get my 4-71 running in the old Allis Chalmers HD10. It has no muffler ether. Should make some noise haha
Bit tatty and rusty but could still easily work in pace with sum machines of today, nice and pleasant mate, thanks for sharing.
I think alot of old iron could still put in a solud days work. Im not sure we could say the same thing as more modern items once there get some age to them. They just dont make them like they used to
guaranteed to have a headache by the end of the day
Haha. The GM motor are defantly not know to be quiet are they !
