Just installed these today on my M2, they definitely look better and just more unique. BMW came out with ones that are a proper fit for both front and back. I ordered mine on IND Distribution site and the install took a couple of mins just like the video.
My 2023 i4 actually had this option from the factory, but I decided against it because I thought I wouldn't like the asymmetric logos. I kind of regret it, because I realize now that if I had gotten the 50th anniversary badges, it eliminates the blue outlines that denote EV. I think I still prefer the blacked out logos, but the G series is really annoying to replace because the rear logo includes the camera, which makes it more difficult to replace
Hi, I bought some for cheap (40€ for 2 plus 4x for the wheels), installed them on the hood and trunk but once plugged, it is slightly pivoting on the horizontal axe, just like if it was not completely flat. MAybe because they are cheap, fake ones? Guess it's supposed to be perfectly flat, right? Would you say it's worth paying the 60€ for the real official BMWs?
I measured both hood and trunk logos on my 2019 x4 and they are exact match at 80mm. Do i suck at measuring?? I direly need those 50th-anniversary heritage badges
@BMWDIYGuy thanks. I measured again and they are actually both 82mm. I'm going to remove them and identify the parts number to be safe before ordering. Thanks for replying ❤
The one shown in the first part is the type of emblem I have on my 1 series F20. (bonnet) But I am trying to obtain an after market version (B&W) and the only type I've been able to find its the ones where the posts are like the boot emblem on the 2nd half of this video. I cannot find the 3 post type, so if anyone can advise please let me know TYIA.
@@ohplvtinum5935 Not just me then... I have looked everywhere I can think of to no avail, they all seem to supply the 2 pins option, but not the 3. I'm at a loss now. I'm debating, modifying the 2 pin one somehow, maybe just cutting the pins off altogether and just sticking it down with adhesive, or even just double sided tape?
Do you know why these things are between 10-30€ for each series and for my G22 4series 2022 it is 80-160€ per emblem? Can I just buy them for 10-30€ and then stick them on? Because the diameter is actually the same, isn't it?
Love the 50th anniversary badges. Want these for mine but I would like the wheel caps as well.
Yeah, I am frustrated they dont have auto leveling heritage caps.

Well done!
Are the ones on IND distribution OEM?
@@JayP-vh9wc yep they were! Same serial numbers and everything
Hello!, what year is your M2?
@@spoiler9112 2021 M2C

I love it!

I can understand that, but still options to upgrade later. 8)
Looks awesome, I want them on my M2c
Do it!!!
Use fishing string to cut the adhesives first makes it a breeze
Great suggestion!
I'm buying these for my M140i F21, they're £50 each here in UK and need the small mod like for your M2, cutting off the 2 end bits to fit flush 👍
Well done!
I got all wheels, steering wheel, hood and trunk for $18 and the quality is amazing. I was planning to buy the oem but it’s no need to at this point.
Theres not much quantity of goldem emblems i wonder why
I'd love them for my F20 BMW 1 Series 😍
Did you get them?
Yes, I got them, thanks 👍
Look good. Are you going to do the steering wheel.
For the badge? If so no.. I did upgrade but didnt change out the badging on the airbag.
Even I wanted the original ones, I paid almost 150 for my M440i
Yeah.. I totally get it and I am the same on this. I could have gotten the cheap knockoffs easily, but it just didnt feel right.

I am super detail oriented, so went with the oem even though more expensive

I doubt you mismeasured.. each car can be a little different depending on model and how BMW set them up.

That absolutely can work.
Did you end up finding the right set?
@@BMWDIYGuy No I just cut the pins off and used double sided tape!

Where did you get the badge from please?
Links and parts are in the video description 8)
Whats the best adhesive to use for a re-badge?
It has adhesive on it so good to go
If i have a 2022 bmw should i still cut the prongs?
Maybe.. depends on the hood plugs. Only do so if you have to
Tasty motor
Couldn't agree more.. the S55 was fantastic!

@cembe744 no, the diameter or posts are not always the same
Was it from AutoID by any chance? If so which ones fit please? Thanks
Saw your link in description cheers!
You are welcome!
I got some from Auto ID when visiting UK, now need to install them! I'm LBB😊
I bought my 2023 because of this badge. I wanted it from the factory with them
Nice!
Does this measuring ignore the same for x5 g05 2019?
Hard to say as each car can be a little different.. I check the OEM sizes first, then by the same sized heritage.
Not a fan of this badge, just my opinion, but it looks like it’s got masking tape around the actual bmw logo!
I like it on some colors and not on others for sure.
Real ones are exspensive
No arguement there and you can definitely get copies that are less expensive.
