Hello, I enjoyed your interview with Avi, I was wondering if you could please do another interview with him asking this list of questions. This list of questions has been compiled by many different people I have spoken to who have enjoyed Avi's work and are curious about him. It would be a great Q and A session episode. I hope you will be able to do it. Here is the list of 15 questions below. Thank you.
    1. You have mentioned on your blog that you have a manuscript entitled "Fear", when do you think that will be published as it sounds very interesting and I look forward to reading it.

    2. Have you ever walked out of a school visit and if so, what were the circumstances?

    3. As a writer of historical fiction and someone who studies history are you optimistic or pessimistic about the future?

    4. How has being a stepfather and raising step-children impacted your writing?

    5. What book of yours do you think is your most under-rated?

    6. What interesting stories do you have about your time working as a librarian? Do you ever miss working as a librarian?

    7. You say in one of your blog posts quote “in my capacity as an author, making many school visits. Spend a lot of time in a school that way, and you pass a fair number of hours in the teachers’ lounge. Amazing what you hear there, especially since not everyone knew who I was.” End of quote- I am curious what interesting stories did you hear in the teachers lounge?

    8. -You have said that the character of Ereth (from your Dimwood Forest Series of books) might be a self-portrait of yourself, what did you mean by that?

    9. Would you ever consider writing a prequel book about Ereth’s background and early life?

    10. What message or theme were you trying to convey in your short story "What do Fish have to do with anything" and how did you get the idea for the story?
    11. Aa a younger writer how did you deal with rejection of your work. How do you deal with it now? Does it ever get easier?

    12. You have been visiting schools for book visits since the 1970s, how would you say young people and schools have changed over the years?
    13. Would you ever write a sequel to your book "The Good Dog" and how did you get the idea for it?
    14. Of all your book covers which ones have been your favorite and why?
    15. How do your publishers determine what the best book cover and title should be for a particular manuscript of yours?
