Completely agree with you, I love the way none of the guys compete with each other in the band. They seem happy to let each other shine and step back to let someone else take the lead. To have that much talent individually but not have their egos clash is just wonderful. They deserve every ounce of the attention they're getting.

Seeing him play bass is so familiar. When a guitarist plays the bass...it is just differently fun. Same thing for when a really good bass player picks up a guitar. Each instrument has their limitations, and the instrument swap is a bit of freedom to a degree.
All the people watching these live performances of The Big Push band are going to remember that they were there before the band went big time. There is such amazing chemistry and charisma in this band and there music is so tight, yet flowing at the same time. They deserve all the success that is coming their way.
Ren and the Big Push did their last concert together last October. They went their separate ways because Ren was going to Canada for his treatment. I do hope they get back together at some point and release an album. Ren's next release is March 29, his 33rd birthday.
We can but hope that the viral success that Ren is now having and that the Big Push are also having on the back of that will see them at least perform sporadically together as they are brilliant. From the little I know, they are still great friends.
They are just phenomenal - you can really feel the joy they are having and sharing that with the crowd. For a completely different vibe from the Big Push (and yet another new string to Ren's bow (or should that be melodica)), check out tjheir song Swan Song. The Big Push seem to be just as diverse as Ren himself.

There is a concert they did (I think it was in Briton , that I watched, was amazing, they do different songs and some of their own I think, Ren even plays bass guitar and is amazing at that as well., This was an actual indoor scheduled performance on a stage.
I watched a busking video where Glenn (the drummer) was playing the guitar and Ren was playing drums and then Ren switched with Romain and Romain was playing drums.
I've been listening to The Big Push along with Rens own music for a few months and I can't believe how amazing these guys are!! I'm loving all this music so so much!!!

My understanding is that they were planning to do a tour this year but as rens treatment has been extended I believe they are postponing until he's better. What I really like about the big push is that its not 1 of these bands you see on today's media for example who are friends for a bit then breakup and yadda yadda... No these guys are best friends and do everything together even living together at 1 point (I can't tell you if they still do but wouldn't surprise me) they are genuine, honest, down to earth, friendly group of guys just having fun and doing what they love. I agree full they will be big. Their exposure has gone through roof recently as even rens stated its a shame he's unable to bask in it as he's getting treatment but hey it won't be long and he will be better and by time they go on tour their gigs will all be sold out all the time. ❤

This really is an amazing performance. I've watched a lot of their busking videos and I think there are times when Ren is struggling physically. Quite often he'll kneel down or pass on the singing to somebody else and I know it could be a performance choice but I feel that sometimes it's a cover for him needing to step back. He does say in one video after he's belted it out that he nearly passed out and there's another one where he appears to stagger a bit after he's been holding a note for a while. Makes me respect him even more for his dedication and love of music that he performs anyway.

They called it a hiatus so we have hope the guys will be back together when Ren is back, hopefully in full health
