@@williamryder8497 switched some things slightly so will see, although I don't really have an alternative. I made this stuff I sure as hell plan on using it as best I can despite what they want.
As a "Normee" (however that is spelt).
I see this trough the eyes of someone with no knowledge of Ahsoka or any of the EU books
What I have seen was a lot of walking, slow talking, and boring ship battles.
Light sabers now are a common as blasters, and do not kill those with "writers plot armor"
This, like a lot of Disney Star Wars, lacks a certain pizzazz, or uniqueness.
It feels like they are going through the motions of telling one episode at a time.
Like the writers have only lived a handful of years, and had life handed to them.
I do not feel pain or suffering in the writing. There is no sense of overcoming the obstacles of life.
It feels so sickeningly safe, it is coma inducing.
How can I empathize with, or relate too, soulless characters.
For me there was nothing I liked about this Show so far.
As an aside:
To be fair there were moments in the Force Awakens, that I loved... there were scenes in The Las Jedi that were amazing. The last film.. yeah nothing there.
The Mandalorian, Seasons One and Two were very good for me (I really loved IG11).
But from Season 3 beyond (and for all other shows..) they all fell flat for me.
Maybe one day the thrill will be back.
Maybe these writers who endure the strike, will share their pain and suffering and how they too over came life's obstacles.
A Life LIVED makes for good writing, not a live that was swiped right...
Andor was amazing

The villains interest the most ironically. Also hoping the storyline isnt as predictable. Like this show + Mando going out of their way to explain why the NR is complacent. When the ST has the NR get wrecked by the FO.
Makes it kinda frustrating to watch Andors Mon Mothma mangage to navigate the political elite + sell out her family (while the actress is acting beyond excellant, among many others on that show), then become soo inept in Ahsoka...just because of the ST. Its amazing how they box the writers in.
What I liked the most was that smexy looking MC 30 frigate at the beggining of the 1st episode
The few things I like about this show:
- Baylan hasn't been shown doing anything dumb... yet, unlike other villains who declare their loyalty to the Empire BEFORE shooting, stop shooting Ahsoka in the Marrok exfiltration scene for no reason and fire at Ahsoka instead of Ahsoka's disabled ship. Subject to change at any moment.
- Cinematography is competent, nothing looks cheap like the Boba Fett show so far.
- A Senator who scolded Syndulla being a fence sitter, waiting out the Galactic Civil War to back whichever the victor end up being. That's some character building, ngl.
- Huyang is just funny.
Interesting... I don't know where to stand with the Ahsoka show then. I've heard show ratings that were all over the board; the ratings mixed from people whom I really enjoy hearing their perspectives. Maybe I'll watch it after I get through the Bad Batch, if I suddenly have access to a Disney+ account.
