I imagine part of the reason it worked is because the curse of the Darksaber worked to Luke and the Rebel Alliance's advantage in that war. Luke properly won the blade by winning a duel against Darth Vader, (By the way, you don't have to kill the previous owner to win the Darksaber like Luke did, just defeat them in battle.) and the blade likely easily attuned itself to him because he started leading a crusade to bring down a galaxy-spanning empire! (This blade is temperamental and resonates the most with someone who goes on such a crusade, whether they be conquerors or liberators.)
Part of the reason for that is because The Way of the Mandalore, by necessity, overrules incompatible parts of the Jedi Code. Firstly, the "no attachments" rule is as Din Djarin states, the opposite of the Mandalorian creed. Secondly, as part of a warrior culture, Mandalorian Knights by definition do not hold the same pacifist ideals that the Jedi do. The result of this lack of many of the Jedi Code's flaws is an order of Mandalorian Knights that's far more balanced in the Force than the Jedi or Sith could ever be. Perhaps they would even be balanced enough to bring a permanent end to the endless cycle of war between the two sides of the force!
@@valjamin8456 Indeed. During the Mandalorian Wars Around 4000 BBY (Revan's time) there was a number of Jedi that defected to the Mandalorian side. But a proper Mandalorian Order of Firce adherents could have worked. Like the Zeison Sha and Jal Shey that were Force Orders that was not part of the Jedi. This was a great story. I like how obi becomes the father figure luke needs. Also love bring in the arc generator story. The bo and obi twist was good as well. Nice job my friend keep up the great work.
After killing the Emperor thisway, I don't think there would be any big battles left to win as any remaining war lords would more than likely try to keep from being found and put on trial for war crimes and more.
There was a period where Obi-Wan met Satine, stole her heart, and nearly left the order for her. What would have happened if he did leave? Who would train Anakin, defeat Grevious, and eventually watch over and (briefly) train Luke?
There's already a what-if from Pente Patrol, Star Wars that covers this exact scenario. The short version is Qui Gon doesn't die to Darth Maul thanks to Count Dooku being by his side instead of Kenobi. The ripple effects of Master Qui Gon's continued presence eventually kill Palpatine's plans in their cradle before the Clone Wars can even begin.
There is also a fanfiction series with that premise called "She Said the Word" which has Obi-Wan and Satine married soon after Obi-Wan left the order. From there they end having two kids and later adopt Anakin after the Jedi refuse to train him. I do love how the whole story goes along and at the end its Obi-Wan along with his family, and their followers who end up putting Palptine into the ground before the Empire could even be formed.
I am confused about a few thinks: 1) Obi-Wan and Satine were roughly the same age when they fell in love. Bo is maybe a couple years younger. But if you jump forward in time, Katee Sackhoff looks to have aged very little, even though her appearance in the Mandalorian happens ~5 years AFTER Obi-Wan died, and he looked very aged then. 2) Luke’s mother died, and his father didn’t know he existed. Does that mean Luke is a foundling? 3) when we’re Obi-Wan and Satine an item? It cannot have happened any time after Ep. 1, since he had Anakin with him. But if you look at his behavior in Ep. 1, he wasn’t yet trusted to do anything unsupervised. So if he and Satine did catch feelings, it was when Qui-Gon was there. I can’t see a time when he had the necessary independence to get to know her and fall in love.
Tatooine made sense, in the fact that Vader wouldn't check there. Mandalore makes sense, in the fact that Obi-wan wouldn't go there. [Satine probably hurts him as much as Sand hurts Vader]
Wow. He honestly should have. The Jedi would have immediately moved to depose him and it WOULD BE TREASON, THEN. Sideous would kill a bunch of council members and the Jedi would be, rightfully, outlawed. Damn.
Also also: Why has nobody attempted to bleed the Darksaber? Canonically, Maul and Savage had plenty of time to do it. In your story, Vader would have had time as well.

I think the initial decision to take Luke to Mandelore actually makes more sense than Tatooine. The Jedi train from a young age, so making Luke a farmer until he was older never made sense to me. On Mandelore Luke could be trained without drawing attention to his existence.
Love the idea of a blending of Mandalorian and Jedi philosophy. True warriors of honor defending the Light of the Galaxy! Would basically be a Order of paladins dedicated to "The Way" and based on the "Jedi Philosophy"! Great combination in my opinion!
Bo could had ejected before her ship crashed to take out Thrawn's ship. Palpatine could had used Force lightning in orbit but that would had distracted him and the Mandalorians could had bombarded his position from the flank after someone keeps him occupied with sniper shots.
I never really got the logic of taking Luke to Tattooine. What if Vader returned (to visit his mother's grave, or Owen)? What if he destroyed it? The risks of being there are just too high to outweight the benefits of hiding in plain sight.
I didn't get a chance to watch this and saved it, but on a drive the question came back to me, and I immediately projected that it would be all bad and a great way to create a much worse Villain than Palpatine or Vader. That is no commentary on a much deeper take than my musing, but I still can't shake the impression it feels like the tail of a bad dream.
It kinda makes sense why in the prime timeline, Obi-Wan takes Luke to Tatooine. Because it's covered in sand. Coarse, rough, irritating sand that gets everywhere. There would be a snowball's chance on Mustafar that Vader would go there, even if he was born there, even if he spent his formative years as a slave there, even if he had his first foray into the Dark Side after the death of his mother there.
Hell ill give you credit, that would have made a better movie then any of the recent sequels. Unfortunately it would have also messed with episodes 4-6 and a bunch of characters to include Han and Chewbacca.
I think a part two of the order being formed and doing is part to weed out the imperial remnants throughout the galaxy would be awesome. There’s essentially become an order like the order of Revan following the will of the force
My favorite part about this story: The rightful inhabitants of Coruscant finally take their home. Fun Fact: The Mandalorians are a culture, but they are a culture originally derived from a species known as the Taung. The Taun were the original inhabitants of Coruscant. thousands of years ago, slower-than-light generation ships filled with millions of humans landed on Coruscant and slaughtered the Taung people. the survivors fought back but were eventually forced off-world. the survivors wandered the galaxy for a time before settling on Mandalore. But by ancestral right, Coruscant is Mandalorian property.
Man that's so cool. I genuinely enjoyed it alot. Hope you have a good idea for part 2 in mind because part 1 was awesome. Therefore part 2 must be equally as awesome. They say it isn't work if you love what you do. So enjoy your self and come up with something great. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
Mandalore was turned to glass in an Imperial Purge of Mandalore "The Night Of A Thousand Tears" Luke & Obi would've been found or killed or found and killed
All good except... what if, because of his force gifts, Luke doesn't become an incredible warrior? He's training with an old man and holding his own, yes, but when fighting the common madelorians, he'd hardly find them a challenge. Even less of a challenge when he and Sabine go to the academy. He'd coast through any challenges, become complacent. Then, fighting a Vader who was capable of killing hundreds of Jedi Masters, it'd be a fight his half-assed-never-really-needed mandelorian tricks wouldn't help with all that much. Maybe Vader senses him and has conflict? I just don't see a Jedi rising to epic potential around people he can and is encouraged to, defeat on a regular basis. On tattoine, he was challenged by nature, hardship, and duty, not people he can beat soundly in a fight every chance. Just my thoughts..
I appreciate that Luke's plan at the end amounted to bum rush the emperor 😂😂😂

Hopefully in part 2 of this Luke still meets Yoda
Awesome video it was perfect
Mandalore was turned to glass in an Imperial Purge of Mandalore "The Night Of A Thousand Tears"
Luke & Obi would've been found or killed or found and killed
Also, why was Ben and Bo’s daughter given the surname Skywalker?
Also also also, Vader has very strong opinions on dual wielding light sabers.
This was a really good one
Part 2 & 3!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT!!!! Have the Mandalorians claim the Clones in as Foundlings!!!!!
