You know, I'll never understand why they stopped making these, or why people currently won't make something similar. It's the perfect size for someone wanting the "van life" that also wants to not feel so cramped. It gives just enough space for everything you'd want, and if you don't want it, you can renovate it to something you do want. And driving wise, it's not much different from driving around a van!

GMCs finest creation. Man, I would love to own one of these. Of course I would not change a thing. I graduated in 1976 so this interior is right in my generation. I love this.

This motor home is exactly what the rock band, Poison used when they left the east coast for fame and fortune in LA around 86 or 87. Poison was the opening band in Baltimore, Essex actually for Wrathchild America, aka Shannon Larkin of Godsmack. Funny watching guys looking like girls coming out of Ken and Barbie's RV. That's what I see when I see these. Clean machine, man! Nice rig.
Cruzin Castles Sir, it was one of those nights that this happen. Things we have now to take pictures did not exist then, like cell phone cameras. Most times when we had warm up bands, we wouldn't know them until they appeared at the gig. Who knew "Poison" would be successful at that point in time. They were just some weird band who was carrying cardboard cut outs of sexy girls from their Ken and Barbie looking rig to use as stage props. The bass player Bobbi Doll ended up at my house that night because of a girl and next morning I drove him back to the Ken and Barbie machine so they could leave for California. That's the truth of it.
The Barbie Star Traveler was a real human motor home from GMC? Gosh, how I wish I had this. I'd totally print out all of the life sized sticker decals to really bring a girl's dream to life! I LOVE THIS! Many blessings on your home.
