With so many folks downsizing and living full time RV, it's the perfect time for Airstream to re-introduce the smaller Class A. I would love to have one. Perfect size for one old woman and her dog.
Sadly, smaller RVs are not cheaper RVs. You can get a decent amount of ~5 meter long RV here in germany, but they cost a fortune and are far from a bargain compaired to a 6 or 7 meter one. We were looking for an Oasi 540 and the range from 55.000 to 70.0000€, which is just ridiculus for a two-person-rv.
I loved to hear the excitement in your voice when showing this unit. It is lovely and so well preserved. Nice to see so many of the original items still remaining. Thank you for the tour.
I just bought a 1995 Dodge Roadtrek 190 V, and that front swing around seat conversion to dining room and bed is almost exactly the same. Even my front table has those extensions on each side. Mine is also completely original , (even the original shower curtain!) and I just purchased it from the original owner. Thank you so much! Very cool to see this🥰🚙💚

Back then they made him strong today they made with fiberglass and cheap material.. I usually will not buy a RV of the day they made very cheap for that crap.. but I do love your Ford Van is awesome. .
Patrick has got to be the MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE AIRSTREAM GUY IN the WORLD! I have met him personally and what a great person to talk to and listen to, he treats every single person with respect and takes his time with them, NEVER rushing them. There is a reason why he is sooooo successful as an AIRSTREAM salesman, THE BEST in the business. Great Video here Patrick.
I love old camper/airstream vehicles. But you had me flinching every time you randomly banged on things. lol Thankful the current owner allowed you to give it a showoff!
I remember my grand parents used their friends motor home exactly like this one to go to Arizona one winter, but they didn't stay because they said it was too cold for their "Florida bones", as they said. But they were intrigued by the idea that they could travel in their own home.
A little gentle on opening or closing things in there please You will rarely find a spare part if you broke something And that's a piece of history that you touch
Yep freaked me out how rough he was with someone else's vintage motorhome and I doubt the owner would be pleased 🧐 probably going over the video with their attorney 🤣 no really 😟
Dude! I absolutely love the vintage 70s look of the interior! I think that’s one of the biggest appeals to buying an old school motor home like this 1974 Airstream. I would hate for someone to buy this vehicle and delete the 1970s out of it only to modernize the interior. If that’s the case than they should just buy a new motor home. But man oh man am I in love with this rig! Growing up my uncle had one of the 70s GMC models and our family had a total blast every time we went camping with him. Looking at this vehicle brings back so many great memories! Thanks to everyone who shared this. As always this has been a great video and I look forward to seeing the next one! Cheers!

Orange is a great vacation color ! 👌 makes ya happy !
You got that right!
Damn, wish I could afford it, he'll make a small fortune on it, that's for sure, we just bought a small, very small, aliner, we haven't been able to use it yet, looking forward it. But that looks more like us!!😖
Thank you for checking this out Susan
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures how much is he asking, I know you said it's on ebay, and people bid on it, but how high do you think? Maybe in a future video you could say? I really like that, it's so groovy!!
This would be a GOAT of #vanlife if Airstream started production on a modern version of this. Thank you for you video.
Back then they made him strong today they made with fiberglass and cheap material.. I usually will not buy a RV of the day they made very cheap for that crap.. but I do love your Ford Van is awesome. .
Thanks man.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures you'll definitely more than welcome my friend by the way I'll be ready by the end of summer..
Thank you for checking this out
Haha you are like me...he was really ROUGH on stuff...i was wincing too!😮
Old vintage rare things you treat gently!
Absolutely Gorgeous!!!! Would Love to buy the travel camper you're showing. What a Gem!!!
Thank you Sue
I remember my grand parents used their friends motor home exactly like this one to go to Arizona one winter, but they didn't stay because they said it was too cold for their "Florida bones", as they said. But they were intrigued by the idea that they could travel in their own home.
Oh wow awesome feedback
That is a FANTASTIC motorhome!
Thanks for showing it.
Our pleasure!
It’s perfect
I agree
I have a ‘77 28ft argosy and one of my favorite feature is the vista windows above the sofa/dinette. One of many neat things.
A little gentle on opening or closing things in there please
You will rarely find a spare part if you broke something
And that's a piece of history that you touch
Sorry 😞
Yep freaked me out how rough he was with someone else's vintage motorhome and I doubt the owner would be pleased 🧐 probably going over the video with their attorney 🤣 no really 😟
Agree, this bozo shouldn’t be let near anything old. What a jerk.
Yeah, that was fun looking at such a vintage RV. Enjoyed the video! Thanks!
❤️💜💚
Thank you Paige
Got one of these we've been trying to sell!
How much and where??♥️??
Great tour as always and I’m always amazed at just how knowledgeable you are!
Thank you very much Kelly
Your jean jacket fits well with the van. Did you plan on that?
Thanks. I didn’t but now I get it
Cheers!
It would be BLASPHEMY to "modernize" that BEAUTIFUL thing❗
That is awesome I would update the engine and make it fuel injected.. and get rid of the carburetor..
Good call
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures definitely my friend love the video awesome I'll definitely living that but your van is nicer though...
I would drop a LS in it
@@MAGA-kw3ol what is an Ls my friend
@@skapunkoialternativeliving6522 the LS is the engine that they have been putting in chevy trucks for the last 20 years. Incredibly reliable engines that can make gobs of power with little effort. I put one in a vintage rv and its been amazing. Look up LS swap on you tube.
