Can I just say, even idling around Figure feels so... alive? He doesn't feel like an NPC with a set patrol path, the way he uses his hands to feel around the library, how he peeks around corners, one of the best horror sequences I've ever seen on Roblox.

I like how well designed the Library intro cutscene was. The Figure immediately charges towards you but turns around the bookshelf as he heard a broken vase, even though he had already spotted you and was already close to catching up to you. Not only that, another hint that confirms he is blind is the fact that you get a good view at his face where it's clear he has no eyes, only mouth.
Bro he's demorgorgon on wish

As a person that completed doors i can say that this is a banger but at the same time an literal heart attack
we be crouchin forever with this one
This soundtrack literally feels like you’re compressed, and claustrophobic- truly a work of art.
To me it feels like infiltrating the lair of a child prodigy turned unhinged mad scientist, that also happens to be in a pocket dimension. You're in *his* realm, trying to traverse the maze-like corridors that seem to shift themselves with abandon. You don't know what kind of hyper advanced defences he's been cooking since he went missing 7 years ago; robot guards? Laser sentries? Deadly forcefield projectors? A game of Rube Goldberg in the test chambers? Well, it doesn't matter anyways, *because he knows you're here.*
true
Which you basically are, when you think about it
Obviously it’s not as intense because we’re not literally there, but imagine if you were trapped in a library you have a very vague idea of how to escape with a living Stranger Things reference hunting you down based on the sound of your footsteps

Of all the Monsters I've encountered, Figure is (In my opinion) The most detailed
I've also just learned that he runs his fingers on walls and bookshelves to feel around the room since he has no eyes
he also peeks around corners (Which I haven't actually seen him do yet)
It's just so cinematic. The devs who worked on this game really out did themselves.
Fr though, like he acts alive because of his unpredictable movement. Plus, the details are amazing (for all of the entities in the game)
If he does peek around corners, it's interesting because he's blind and he doesn't need to peek around the corner to hear better since it seems he already has extremely good hearing considering he produces quite loud footsteps (think it also even shakes the ground when you're nearby?) yet he can still hear your light footsteps from walking.

I had a dream sort of similar to doors, and I encountered monsters just like seek and figure. Dangerous, smart, otherworldly, and had an eerie presence, a certain feeling that told me there was something underneath that was sinister and corrupt. Something that I could never fully understand, especially in regard to it's power. Something that if it got close, gave me a sense of impending doom. Because even if the monsters didn't see me, whatever was under it did. Such an amazing game.

I absolutely love the synth at the end of the song, nobody talks about it but it deserves recognition because it has me replaying the song over and over
Even if this section made rage many times, I still appreciate it so much. Just the feeling of being trapped in a room with this grotesque creature constantly on the prowl, not being able to see you but could be behind you any moment. The AI for the figure is great too, it honestly feels like a real living thing. This always keeps me on my toes, knowing I’ll never be able to truly tell which spots are safe zones. I’m surprised I wasn’t into this game earlier.
Edit: I only just realised the gimmick, Figure’s encounter happens in a library and you have to keep quiet to avoid it.
The first time i got to floor 50 i just ran around screaming like an idiot for 2 minutes. No crouching, no calm, just screaming whilst my friends spectated me. This games system of teaching after- deaths is amazing.
Same, except I wasn't screaming, and was instead taunting it.

The ending of thia song gives me chills... The way the song just almost abruptly ends.

this whole game gives me celestial resort vibes
It had taken me ages to finally beat this boss for the first time, and once I did it, I died to Ambush. In a nutshell, though, I really like this boss battle.
It has a perfect level of difficulty, and the patterns and movements are simple yet challenging. The overall looks of the entire game is insanely well made, and, keep in mind, all of this is 2d textures, I believe. That means that the wooden floor is, yes, a decal, and so is many of the other things. That's what is stunning about this game: it's a combination of low and high-poly, (with most of it being high-poly), and, well, it works. It works very well.
The gameplay is a bit rough if you don't know what to do at the beginning, but after that, it's something you could do for hours. I think this game is truly one of the best horror games on Roblox, even better than The Mimic, in my opinion. (I don't really like the Mimic, as it has inconsistent settings and gameplay overall.)
Doors is truly something else. It's a dungeon game, except you're the one being grinded and hunted. Think of it like The Binding of Isaac, except you're an enemy that can only run. Until you understand the game's patterns more thoroughly, you don't know what will happen.
So, overall, Doors is one of my favorite games on Roblox. I'm excited for the second extension to the game, and overall, I think this game deserves a bloxy or two.

For a horror game, this game's soundtrack is really well composed! I'm glad this isn't just a jumpscare simulator, instead this game is trial and error, which I think makes it stand out from other horror games on roblox.
i like how canonically figure would've killed you the second you entered door 50, but guiding the light knocks a lamp over to distract figure, saving you from was would've been inevitable death.
you can tell it was guiding light because the lamp sparkles blue shortly after.
After beating seek and going through some levels, you see a detailed fancy door with a clear label saying "50" You enter for the first time. You open the door. You see a long, red arm. A figure with loads of teeth walks past you. You get scared and get in a closet. While there you expect hide to kick you out. But nothing is there. It's you and the figure. Nothing will disturb you or the figure. A song then plays as your heartbeat gets louder and faster. All I have to say is.
Good Luck.

now if only they could fix those animations...
The fight with seek was tough, indeed, but now you're safe. Right?
You go into a couple more doors, door by door, you feel like something's coming up: "Why is there nothing happening?" You say.
You arrive at door 49, you don't expect anything, until you open it, the first thing you hear is a scream, distorted and unknown, you see a gold double door, that says, door 50. With a bit of fear, you wonder what's going to be in the next room: "Is it going to be an animal? Is it going to be another seek?". What's next is frightening, you open the door, and you see a giant 8 foot tall creature made of exposed muscle, meat and bones with ears all over its head and a giant mouth that covers its whole face with teeth all over it, it wanders towards you, it gets faster and closer, its footstepts are loud and powerful! You're almost sure he's coming to get you but suddenly it goes into another direction, you are in a library, and assuming it can't see you crouch down on your feet.. Thinking it won't hear you, you see a book a bit out of its shelf, but, because of the fear you don't care about it, you think you need to go to the door, but its locked! You have to get out of there as quick as possible. Your only chance? "The desk!" You think something is gonna be on the desk, the monster pounds up the staircase, it goes towards you and then it stops, you freeze in fear, you don't know what to do, he roars a scream and then goes the other direction.
He got far, really far, he went to the other side of the library, its your chance! You rush to the desk only to find a paper. You hear the monster running and pounding towards you.. screaming and roaring. Not knowing what you do you look everywhere, he's so fast, you look around frozen in fear. With no hope, you just jump into a closet. He approaches you, and you can feel him listening, him vibrating, you stop breathing... He's wandering around the closet trying to feel you...
He stops wandering around the closet and goes on his way. You start breathing as lightly as possible, you look at the paper, still in the closet, there's forms and numbers: "That's what the books were for!" you go as fast as you can crouching to the books. As the creature feels the books from the shelves being removed he starts hurrying, he's walking fast, he starts running, in a panic you search all books you can find, you memorize every form you see. You have one more form. the star. You go upstairs, and you find it: "That's it, that's the book!" you think, you go towards it and whisper a very slight and light "ʸᵉˢ!"....
He heard you..
He's rushing towards you...
You run towards the door and bash into it, you put the code as fast as you can! The time is ticking and he's coming so fast. You entered the code! You pressed the button!! The door opened!!! And at the last second, You closed the door right in front of him.
"There can't be something worse than this.."
Only if you knew.....
"The figure."

When listening to it, you feel a funny creepy vibe.
It's all fun n games until you find yourself facing a large doubled door, more fancier than the regular doors you have gone through. Cautious, you open it as the unusual sense tingle in your skin. A large, Demogorgon looking monster awaits your arrival as it roars in the library. The lights flicker timidly, as it's large, heavy chain like stomps follow towards the darker right of the room. You freak, crouching down in fear. As you look around, something catches your attention. Bookshelves were filled with desaturated books, ladders tending to be in front of them. There was a difference within one. A regular bookshelf as the others, with a saturated colored book, slipping lightly between the others. Quickly, you run to it, snatching the book as you frantically look through the pages. One catches your eye. A letter, large, and dark, unlike the empty pages within. It was the sign of a code, and you keep it within your mind as you search more around quietly. You notice a purple lighted area across, and as the figure roars and roams above, you quickly run towards it. The steps are loud, and it screeches in anger. You find yourself spotting an unusual, eerie paper with the symbols you saw in the books earlier, as it was some sort of decoding paper. The roars become louder, and it's footsteps become closer. *It heard you.* You quickly look around, scramming yourself into a closet as you heart beats. The slow beating of your panic becomes faster and louder, as the Demogorgon approaches the closet, with it's quiet, but ominous growls. It walks away eventually, and you take a breath once the cost was clear. The figure was further, and you took the chance to venture upstairs quietly. It was roaming downstairs now, but by the time it got upstairs, you find more of those saturated books. It became faster, more...*angrier* . You lash onto the last book, hiding in the closet once again as your heart beats louder and louder. You felt shivers flowing through your spine as the figure faced you. Once again, it leaves, and you find yourself in front of the exit. You look at the paper, then the padlock. It was a 6 digit code, and you barley remembered those odd symbols. The figure was coming again, and you hand to figure it out now or never. You enter the code swiftly, as you once again check the paper. *75042.* That was your code, that was *the escape.* The figure roars loudly as the padlock unlocks, and you gather your supplies and exit. The door shuts on you as the eerie music slowly and aggressively fades. You take a breather, finally relieved you escape. *That won't be the end.*

Inside is a figure--coming up to the door like he's a dancing ballerina--that you've heard before. It cannot see, but it still stares you down with its frightening look. Horrified, you have no choice but to finish what your ancestors, long gone because of this horrifying monster, have started.
You get the books that stand out from the rest and you then see an ominous white glow emit from a desk that... thing is stationary at. You decide to uncrouch and make a run for it, but the figure hears you and starts running in your direction. You hide in the nearest closet, breathing heavily.
If the closet was a house, it would be old and boring. No furniture, just wooden planks and nothing else. Oh, and the figure would be at your very doorstep. Your breathing behaviors change to lure the monster away, and you step out the closet. After all the books are collected, you type in the code and escape this cold-hearted monster. Surely he won't make another paralyzing return.

I really like the detail he put into this. It would make sense after you die for the 5000th time to figure the guiding light say this:
If this was in a book I would read it and never stop.
2:55 TO 3:04 MAKES ME BUST EACH TIME
The song gives off such an uneasy, claustrophobic and terrifying vibe. It fits Figure so perfectly because of it being more quiet so it can hear you and the song putting anxiousness as.. well, you need to be cautious and careful. Just listening to this makes me feel queasy and nervous because of my memories of this game.
Perfect bass. Perfect treble. Top-ends are good, too.
when the toilet seat is warm but you live alone, and you just got back from work
This song reminds me of Stranger Things a lot, especially with the fact that the figure looks EXACTLY like the demogorgon
It may of have been inspired by Stranger Things, especially the end cut scene
Yes circular demorgogon
Rightttt I said the same thing
i saw it and thought siren head, maybe because i havent seen stranger things, but i know siren head, but meh
@@theacidknight6463 Yeah I can see why though because siren head has those like weird bone structures
Level 50 and 100 really have the best experience honestly it chills me to the bone
the ost in this game so good godamn
Just beat the game for the second time, and this doesn't get less stressful, at least not by a lot
The figure is absolutely pain halt is just annoying (and best neck breaker) and ambush + hide
well, halt is easy when you know what to do. just look for flashes and walk the other way until another flash pops up.
figure you should know by now.
ambush swoops by twice before coming around again once or twice.
and hide. your hp will drop after about 10 - 15 seconds after the first sign.
@@kitchensinkreal7476 I think hide gets more aggressive at later levels
@@kitchensinkreal7476 true but they are still a pain to deal with
Bro i love ambush
stranger things copy agreed
Listening to this with headphones and putting the sound loud, is actually insane like, those intense long unexplainable sounds that play through this song is so extreme, try it.
This is a great sounding to encapsulate the feeling of the threat cant truly see you but he knows you there somewhere so your only around it is to not panic and stay calm as your life is on the line
This feels like a Teardown song, and I love it.
