Very very true, I was hanging around alot if those kinds of people and they where a constant drain on me.
Without even noticing it, they dragged me and some of my actual friends down.
Then after quiting them like a bad habit, my own self improvement began swiftly after, turn out that those asshats put me in such a negative mindset that I was unable to improve.
A year later and I have lost 20kilos and gained a fresher perspective on life.

so I imagine you can use skeb to contact someone to make art for a model or just art in general
then again this brings up the question of if you can afford a platform to commission say, art of your avatar fighting a giant chicken why can't you use it to make the stuff necessary to make a proper vtuber model and start streaming? which I assume is why it is being pointed out by Pippa here

Yes they can. Otherwise, clips of vtubers would not be vtuber content. Archives/Vods would end up not being vtuber content since they are not live anymore. It would be like trying to invalidate Markiplier's content for being edited.

Just as a heads up, most vtubers way back when just made pre-recorded sketches or even gameplays like any other UA-camr would - Kizuna AI, Aileen's bunch, Kaguya Luna, to mention a few off the top of my head.
It wasn't until later that most vtubers started to livestream more often, and thus we reached to how things are today.

Yes. The important thing is to create and put it out there. The format doesn't matter. Even if it isn't any good, as long as time and effort is being put into it, you are still a VTuber (but hopefully you learn and improve). VTweeters, in contrast are basically the modern version of people who "are writing a book" but don't have so much as a cringe fan fiction short story published.(1) They want the clout of being a creator, but without putting in the work to do so. A normal VTuber doesn't want drama because stuff is already hard enough without getting into fights with other creators that distract from what you are trying to make. Whereas drama is the best way for a VTweeter to get likes and recognition.
(1) Okay, occasionally, VTweeters have actually streamed a few times, so a couple of streams doesn't automatically put them into the clear. The formula is more like: "Do they spend much more time on Twitter (excluding time promoting their streams) than on creating content (in any form)? VTweeter. Otherwise, VTuber. The person who works full time, has a family, and can only find time to stream once a month? VTuber. The person who streams once a month, but is constantly on Twitter, acting as if they are speaking on behalf of the entire industry? VTweeter.

Twitter recommended me on my “For You” page someone that I thought was a vtuber like Pippa but lewd with selfies from the neck down and whatnot. I thought “I’ll give her a shot since I’ve never heard of her.” After a day I started browsing her TL for an hour and saw her tweet (new after following) backing up a normal Twitch streamer that had huge boobs and an insane boob window. She was calling everyone else (Vtubers) that criticized that girl (and Twitch) a “hypocrite” because “Vtubers are literally the same but aren’t as endowed so they’re _just hating_ on her for having real assets” and saying something about “internalized misogyny” so I stopped following her.
She kept posting about how Vtubers are some type of Mean Girls that have some type of way to gatekeep or whatever. Basically saying smaller ones never have a chance against titans like Melody or Silvervale of getting an audience. So much drama posting, about not liking vtuber drama. Yeah, okay lady.
I feel like my mental health is so much better after I unfollowed everyone on Twitter, except for hardcore nsfw accounts.

This starts out with Kirsche acting like how every man in his youth does when approaching a woman... "Do I talk to her? I have to at least try." Pippa's cynicism has become a bit much for me. I don't know if, when I started watching her last fall, she put a filter on it and it's become more prevalent over time or if this is how she's always been and it's just starting to wear on me. Either way, I hope she gets the help she needs, because I've seen that mindset destroy someone.
I feel like the worst part is the exaggerated imagination that comes with it. Like when she talks about how she views social stuff i have turn my brain off and realize that despite how smart she is on specific topics shes still shut in that finds every reason she can to stay a shut in. I do hope and think she'll get better with it over time. But its definitely one of those things that prolly ingrained to her. I have a friend whos pretty similar so its something you get used to and have to take a break from every so often
