much appreciated my dude, I've got some door panel puddle lights I've got to install and the interior reflectors near the edge of the door are unpowered. I had to branch power off the battery, but I can confidently say I'm one of the few w a center exit mk7 and puddles

Got a rattling behind my door panel up close to where the A-pillar is, with moderate bass from the Fender audio system. This is exactly what I wanted to know to investigate this rattling. Thanks!
What was the rattle having the same issue
@@Obe2k_ Never got around to figuring it out, a slight bump on the door panel and it went away for a few days. Unfrotunately the GTI has since been totaled, thanks to an impatient Dodge Ram 3500 flat bed that decided to pull out in front of me.

Attention!!! I had problems getting the window switch out. I had not only to push back the 2 big front clips, no, also the side ones (4x). And 2 of the side ones (towards the driver) are hard to get to. Be careful!!

hello, is it compulsory to disassemble the entire panel to have access to the control of the electric windows?
my electric window control suffered a slight blow and since the 4 electric windows no longer work (the buttons are released, I think the cable is removed)
I have the same problem. My windows work from each door switch apart from the drivers controls. They switches just went all floppy. I also can’t press the window lock button.
@@CautionRiah hello, the electric windows control on the golf7 (and other I think) is very fragile, but not expensive. it may be like me: broken, so I dismantled the door to check, I found the command to break in two, but it is possible that the plug is unplugged, frankly for the price (amazon: about 20 € and on aliexpress it is even less), I advise you to order your part first, then remove the door, because you would have to reassemble everything if you want to access through the door.
@@ARTDETAILBELGIUM Thanks for that. The lights seems to glow on all of the master switches except for the drivers window switch. I thought it may be unplugged too but if it was that the lights would not still be working, right?
@@CautionRiah if it's just unplugged, you won't have a light, just as well as if it's broken. therefore no choice, disassembled: check if it is unplugged
At the limit if you put yourself on the ground, you can check by passing your hand without disconnecting everything, remove the two screws, and the plastic screw at the bottom, dislodge the door, and there you can pass your hand up to the back to the level of the command, you will see at this moment if it is unplugged, click on it to check if it works with luck.

T27 for my door (2016 GTI 2 door)
VW don't use T27 anywhere, it will be a T30, probably with dirt in it stopping a T30 fitting. T27 may work but it can strip out if it's tight.
Ok but how do you put it back on????😅
