Did you know that Jenka is selling Loopville? I was there today and she said she was not going to purchase anymore stitch markers from me because she was selling the store to travel. Today is the 49th year wedding anniversary and they are retiring. She did change out some seasonal stitch markers for some more current and timely. We wished her well and left.
My goal for 2023 was becoming a member of Love in Stitches and I did!!! I met lovely people and I'm so happy everytime I can participate on zoom. Thanks for your hard work around this channel and membership. Ciao from Italy🇮🇹
Another fun stat to keep is how many miles you go (driving and flying!). We haven't done something quite so long as you are doing, but for the longer ones we've done I track distances per week, and the shorter ones I track daily. The odometer on the vehicle makes this super easy and if you get in the habit of recording the info at the end of each day (or week or month) then you have all the data consistently.
Thanks to watching you and crazy sock lady I now have paid for new yarns that came out from Fan girl and legacy fibers. Ya'll make me feel so inspiered
I love seeing how much and what everyone made! I made 18 things on my circular knitting machine, two Tunisian Crochet projects and 23 crochet projects. I think that's the lowest count since I started crocheting but I didn't count the 3 almost finished projects I have, and I also started to frogg projects that I didn't enjoy which I haven't really done previously.
#question I am working on a sweater currently and unfortunately I didn’t buy enough yarn originally and I couldn’t find the same dye lot when buying more of the same colour. The colours are slightly different so I decided to fade them together using helical knitting for about 10-14 rounds. The problem is I can figure out how to switch back to using only one stand of yarn without creating a jog where I finish the other strand of helical. Do I just have to live with the jog (maybe strategically place it under the arm sleeve/at the side seam so it’s less visible?)? Any advice would be appreciated!

Ok, I think we found ourselves at similar points in the moving process over the summer and now I can see we also completed the same amount of projects in Ravelry this year! I do have some others that I don’t include in Ravelry but I really don’t want to need to keep track in my personal space of everything that I make to sell at the craft fair for example

I’ve never had a goal before I’ve been a sockaholic for years and last year I got back into making prayer shawls, and I started a cozy memories blanket with my sock scraps that I’m loving. My niece is pregnant with twins so my main focus this year is a blanket for each. Just trying to figure out what pattern to do. Hope you make it to Rhode Island at some point this year! There are a few yarn stores in the state. My favorite closed years ago 😢
