Find it Earlier: Alfred's story

The earlier you find prostate cancer, the easier it is to treat. It’s something Alfred knows all too well.
12 years ago, Alfred got a chance diagnosis of prostate cancer. But the good news is he found it earlier, and so could get it treated and now lives life to the full without cancer. That earlier diagnosis means he’s had more time to do what he loves, get down the gym and watch his children and grandchildren grow up.
1 in 4 Black men get prostate cancer, and so as a Prostate Cancer UK volunteer Alfred is passionate getting more men to know their risk and what they can choose to do about it. He’s determined to get more men a lifesaving earlier diagnosis, just like he did.
