Actually if you’re interested in knowing I actually do use the irig 2 for my drum covers and it captures the audio just fine For anyone in the USA you can go to any local music store such as Sam Ash or guitar center to name a few and buy one The do tend to be a bit more expensive... almost $20 if you need one ASAP But just in case anyone wanted to know the difference or was wondering about it 👍
@@adinitedrummer248 yeah the smaller if you look at my channel my very first 3 covers were off my android you know It'll work fine You just trim off the edges and that's that When you ver more advanced you slowly upgrade your equipment Do you also have a roland kit?

Hello! Probably your phone cannot recognize irig input as a mic...therefore, it picks audio signals from built in phone mic....some phones need permission before using external mic...check out if yours has this issue....i hope that helps!
There’s no mention here of where the headphones are interconnected, so that you can hear Edrums and music source. My Roland TD07KV only has one output and hence may need a splitter cable. One cable to IRIG and one to headphones.

Hi. I'm not sure if there's a workaround for this. Perhaps you can check your connections or something. If all else fails...then I guess it won't work. Since this method is quite unstable, I've also personally moved on and used another recording technique.
Do you need to install any software on to the iphone? I've got it all set up right but the iphone is only recording the natural sound in the room and not the sound from the module. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

i have roland td-1dmk which doesn't have r/l(mono) outputs. it has mix in, and aux (headphones) out. if i use a 1/4 inch to aux cable going from irig to the headphone out port on the module, will that still work?

Hi there. To be honest...I'm not really sure about Android phones as if I've been using Apple devices. That being said, I think someone posted here before that it works with their Android phone. Sorry I can't be of much help there.

Zazee TV as long as module has an output jack it should work. Its really easy. You just need a seperate music source. In other words you use your phone to record video and another device to mix in to your module, I just use another old phone running off my wifi. Try one. Only costs a couple bucks on ebay. Might have to buy a cable to connect with module also. Ive already made a bunch of vids. Couldnt be easier. Check em out if you are really bored!

Numan Nair sometimes it’s the connection from the cables. Happened to me a few times. Only fix for me was to plug out the cables and plug it back in. 😅

I don’t think this is achievable. The only way is to have the music comes from another source (laptop, PC, etc) and record your playing with the iphone.

Yes that's correct. You have to play the UA-cam video from another source. Laptop, tablet etc.
