Do you tell people what you are exposing them to by taking those parts out and using them incorrectly?
Can i use that stuff to get paint off of my brick house? When the previous owner painted the windows, they frequently touched the walls, so now there is paint on the outside walls which i want ro remove but i don't know what to use to get the paint off the bricks.
Hi, what chemistry do you used to removed paint?
I'm more impressed by his accuracy of the grinder and the fact he could bend a perfectly sized circle
That was satisfying.
If i tried that it would look like a music note or an antenna
And even cutting a very even circle out of wood is really hard to do! And it all fit perfectly!
This was edited i hope yall realize it took many test fits and trial and error and sanding and grinding to get that
Getting the circumference right is the 1st step. Perhaps in real life, a few "adjustments" (with a hammer) were needed?
That paint removal was satisfying af
Impressive.
The man is an absolute artist. There's barely anything left of the original tube.
Awesome. I was just looking for a guide like this. Now all I need are skills, tools and motivation. Easy peasy!
And a gas tank
@@maxb.simonsen2459 The tank is just a little part of all the materials used)
You can just possibly look that's all
🤣🤣
Propane tank: $40
Metal, Welding, and Wood working equipment: $5000
Seriously though, that’s really cool. Well done.
A fun project between tough projects 😉✌️
The guy’s an artist and no doubt crafts amazing things all the time …. Not like he geared-up to make a little smoker.
What's the name of the product that he used to remove the paint from the tank thank you .
What's the name of the product that he used to remove the paint from the tank thank you .
Passionate
Thanks for the video
My husband is a metal fabricator and he realizes with accurate measurements, experience ,and skill you can get that circle right the first time.
What a great shot of the scaling coming off the flat bar. Good opportunity to out some info about the difference between hot and cold rolled steel. Iv made a ton of smokers and bbqs all unique to themselves. Nice job sir
You have some mad skills. Love this. I have been in the propane industry for 40 plus years and have seen smokers, grills and more made from all sizes of tanks. This is one of the best ever
Men, это самое бездарная трата времени, металла, расходников, краски, энергии, сварки, метизов, и всего, что использовалось в видео. В плоть до деревообрабатывающего станка, о ужас... Такой бред. Стоп люди, вы что творите?! 😱😭🤯
@@user-zr7in7ci3y the guy in the video is getting free youtube money from it
Hank Hill, is that you?
You can tell he's made a fare few of them already. Great workmanship
White color is definitely the best choice for a barbecue.
THANKS! That was so cool to watch this grill (backup small space heater) develop and take shape. I love developing work like this. Great job!
Small space heater... if you like carbon monoxide poisoning and dying in your sleep ;)
Coolest stove I've ever seen, but I almost cried when he painted it, haha. AMAZING job my friend. You have some GREAT skills.
Seriously though right?
That was an amazing job. Its so clean. Make me one and I will buy it.
Taking off the paint is so satisfying
Please market and sell these! I would buy it in a second! (Don't have the time, equipment or knowledge to make one myself even though that was a great tutorial.)
Excellent craftsmanship! Imaging the end goal and planning to perfection. Awesome 👌
6:20 I'm just amazed how the sound of that wood carving was in exactly the same scale as the background music.
The hinges are the best part of this!! 😎👍
Old school blue collar skill. Dying breed this one.
You're a boss brother. Super skilled and creative. I actually preferred the bare metal look but to prevent rust I'm sure you had to paint it. Amazing job.
Could always put a clear coat to keep the bare metal aesthetic, but i thought the white and black was pretty sleek too. Both would look great though for sure
Wow, that paint removal is mind-blowing.
🤣
I need that spray, does anyone know what that is?and is it available in the states?
@@adamh1889 It's called 'Troton Paint Remover'.
I’d actually like to buy an item like this! Super rustic and very cool!
The guy has amazing craftsmanship skills in many areas! 👌👍
Well I made this comment before watching the end and him painting it haha!
It looks good painted but I do prefer the og rustic metal look for sure!
I bought one of these off craigslist once. It was about 6 ft tall. It had some design flaws but overall, the thing was absolutely amazing.
I love how it turned out! I honestly think the paint was the only missed step since the bare metal helped it retain that rustic aesthetic but great job anyways!
I agree. I'm yelling at my phone...NO! the white was okay...the blk totally unnecessary. The wood handle and cutting board...totally righteous.
I'm not concerned about the aesthetic (bare metal is better though yep) i just wouldn't want that in my food...
White is not the best color for a bbq
But the bare metal can rust
@@Rygertwan Anodize it. No paint, no paint flecks, no reaction to the heat of the grill.
I dont know who you are but it is absolutely awesome to see a young man with these incredible skills. I would say you have to be a machinist by trade. Great job.

Amazing skills! Dry frying an egg in a stainless steel pan without it sticking. I'm in awe.
Beautifully constructed, I'd pay for that.
Where can I buy one?
Same. Who wants to make one so I can buy it?
I'm blown away by the talent, great way to recycle, love it!
The meal he cooks at the end kinda sums up this build.
I can only imagine what could possibly go wrong: "Right, let's start cutting this thing apart." .... 💫+💨=💥WAAAMMM...... BRILLIANT design, by the way, m8.
It is actually insane hiw skilled you are in metalworking.
😂
He may be, but being the first video I have seen of his, he is basically chopping a large tin can in half and doing some fairly pedestrian welding stuff with it lol so it’s quite funny reading this comment with that context because it seems rather sane to me.
When he hand bent that bar into the perfect diameter ring i was speechless.
Metal worker here, hes actually less competant than most 14 yr old apprentices on they're first day of work lol.. he even managed to tack weld the whole thing instead of welding it properly just like he copied this build of an indian youtube channel 🙄 which is exactly what he did lol.. if you think this is amazing the quality of your work must be absolutely appalling haha
@@4kays160 Well, I wouldn't say metalworking is appalling. Also, even if his work isn't up to scratch, am I not allowed to give an uplifting comment?
Damn man you have golden hands, continue to delight us with the next masterpieces in your performance!
Watching paint removal is more satisfying than watching whole video
A guy at my old job was welding on a tank when the top blew off and just missed his head. Flew through the welding curtain and through the metal roof. Lucky man!
Wow, this man has incredible skills. Amazing to watch!
You need more than a cup of water to eliminate the risk of explosion from remaining fumes. You need to completely fill the tank with water until there is no room to force everything out
If you pay close attention, you can see the water come up over the lip of the tank. He did completely fill the tank, though I would have appreciated if he clarified it a little more apparently
They need to make the comment button a little smaller. If you took a little more time looking for it you would have seen the part after the scene edit where the water overfilled the tank.
@@MrLastlived yeah could be dangerous if some amateur tried it at home
Hank Hill will be proud of you dude
Hank hill would be both so proud of this grill and then completely devastated it was a charcoal grill ...
It was awesome
But I prefer the unpainted version of this
Yes
Perfect! That's so easy, I'm gonna do it at home.
Hahaha
Who is this genius? Love every minute.
Oh my god, why buy one when you can just use a propane tank. All you need are a ton of tools and expertise! Definitely works out cheaper and easier! What a genius
Отличное исполнение 👍
As an engineer and metal fabrication expert myself l love it when l learn something new from these videos , l would have bent the flatbar a little bit then tacked it on the tank and just pushed it around clamping and tacking as l went , saves a bit of time , but the best bit was learning how all the old bike chain l have can now be used as hinges , Jesus why did l not think of that 12 months ago or before .
I'm not a fabricator, and even I wondered why he didn't bend the flat bar the way he explained 😁
Way too much trial and error the way he did it.
I love these videos that depict a several night/several case of beer project being done in under 10 minutes!
One of the only times I've seen paint stripper actually work.
Beautiful project. I love the size, functionality and design
I love making bbq/fire pit materials for my video’s. Got a toolbox bbq, UDS, propane tank pit and a rollator bbq. Seeing your video i got to learn welding as that opens a whole different world 👍
1:55 Love the first background music. It reminds me of my young age. Very nostalgic.
Cuál es el nombre de la canción
OK, the chain hinge was genius! Using it.
I love repurposing stuff and this is just an adorable little project XD
Their are so many videos on UA-cam on remake projects, but this one is incredible, great job buddy. Keep up the good work
Wow you are seriously skilled, your workmanship is unsurpassed
Journeyman level skills. Impressive project, presented nicely. I enjoyed.
Beautiful! And I agree with others, I would pay for that. You sir, are an artist!
Coisa linda! 👌
I have a feeling that the same people who run blossom and 5 minute crafts, runs this channel as well! Just a hunch!
I mean seriously how much is a portable BBQ, seems a hell of a lot of work!!!!
Very well done! What type of paint did you use? I believe engine paint would be able to withstand the temperatures involved?
They make high temperature paint specifically for this kind of application. I'm more curious about that paint stripper he used tbh lol.
What's the spray you used at the start to strip the paint off? Done a lovely job
Just a guess...looks like the aircraft stripper I used in the past. Great stuff.
This dude made over 200000 making this video. Just insane.
Impressed by the skill and creativity of the creator.
What type of spray paint remover did you use? That was amazing.
I don't think you can get it in the US it's called Troton(brand) paint and grease remover
Vídeo top.
Só uma pergunta: como chama esse removedor de tinta show??
Jesus this guys craftsmanship is outstanding.
Awesome reuse of a propane tank! Very impressive!
What did you spray the tank with to remove the paint? That was incredible

I'll bet you the price of a brand new BBQ that out of the 14M people who watched this not a single soul actually replicated this project
And the Wise statement holds True:

I love the chain link hinges. What did you spray on the tank to get is so clean? Nice work!
No kidding I was most impressed by that paint stripper. Must be some vintage stuff that definitely causes cancer.

All the good stuff is cancer I have this glue at home that is super strong and high heat resistant when you read the label it says cancer causing chemicals do not directly inhale fumes etc etc. It's a tube of this stuff and it'll smell the whole house if you don't seal it 😁.
Nice work! What kind of spray did you use for removing the paint?
Chemical acid ,painters use it frequently ?!!
Cool so easy. Now all I need is a work shop with every tool needed and years of experience. Thanks

Great project, excellent skills, and top notch tools.
Realistically however, if you've got the $2000 worth of tools, and the garage space to be doing this, you should be buying one lol

What chemical did you spray on the gas bottle to remove the paint so easily?
Looks like paint stripper, there's a lot of brands available in a spray can
It's Troton brand "Remover", and the safety data sheet lists dichloromethane (DCM) as the main ingredient. DCM now seems to be banned in the US and EU, which might explain why that particular product is not featured on Troton's web page. Looks effective af tho.
Torn between intense admiration and thinking that a Weber Smokey Joe costs like forty bucks.
This guy has some serious skills.
You know that the paint that you painted at the end is going to burn and become all black. But good job. I need one

Yeah I know for me at least nothing compares to how rewarding it is or how accomplished I feel when I go to walmart. Make something with my hands, never that.
F@#$ walmart, I don't trust or pay any companies that were allowed to stay open during covid.
My husband owns a warehouse and rents space out to a climate control company here locally. We provide a huge bin for their recycling and they always have empty tanks of propane tanks by the thousands. My husbands gives those to his hawaiian friend that makes traditional polynesian drums with them. They’ve made so many that’s reached New Zealand, Tongan Islands, Polynesian Islands, Guam, and of course the Islands of Hawaii. We have a pair that they made for my husband but our 4 year old has made them hers. lol. Seeing this cool bbq grill is giving me ideas for a small business.
I definitely wouldn't attempt to make this but, I would 100% buy this! Guys got talent.
Hey what in the hell did you spray on that propane tank initially. I want the exact brand and chemical
Edit: Oh and that metal skiving tool that you have is freakin dope.
Hey if you find the exact brand and chemical can you let me know, cause same!
