First of all, footage looks great but trying to get it to look like an Alexa is hard to do cuz the Alexa has a massive dynamic range and the colors are just brilliant. But it's very cool to see someone doing this kind of a test, good on you, keep up the good work!
0:51 - Theres so much noise, i guess its cropped from 4k, maybe not but still something is off with that noise on hes robe. I found using Ghalex with 8bit is not that forgiving.I dare to say that i rather not use it with 8bit because if you close up u can see some color bending on skin tones as I saw at 1:25. Just my opinion but I a have a feeling that u just little overexposed skintones which I think is crucial for this convertion.
You are right, it is an extremely heavy conversion. The 8 bit can't really handle it and the 10 bit just about holds it but the colour noise is greatly emphasised. If this was a client video, I would be doing a lot of denoising or using this effect more subtly than it is here.
@@ThePodcastStudioMiltonKeynes It does give you a LUT to help deal with the 8 bit conversion. I do like the 400mbps but I'll probably go down the road of a Ninja V or Shogun inferno as ProRes is much easier on the processing power. I'll then do a similar test and see how that footage compares.
Very nice!!
Nice Shot with this lut, Good Job
Thank you!

Cheers mate! :-)
The colors look amazing! Seems like a great camera!
It really is! I'm constantly surprised by how good the image quality is right out of the box

The pack literally says dont bother using in 8Bit. Its designed for 10bit. And realistically you should shoot a GH5 at 40mbps for super quality :)
