love how after you captured all three together u did a little bit on each engine fantastic also i love how the two black s160 whistles sound aurthentic yet oahma (also my fav out of the three) sounds out of place yet stunning
Omaha has an LNER chime whistle, which if I’m not mistaken most of the S160s had fitted. Tbh, I do agree that the whistles on the other two is much more in keeping with the locomotives.
why do European steam locomotives not have large front headlights? Two little lamps really cant be that effective compared to what north American locomotives had. Even Russian/Soviet steam engines have large headlights and ditch lights
Those beast sounds like a gatling guns! If it isn't the sound of power... I don't know what it will be so!😍
O'thanks very very much....Great stuff...! From the Ky state USA...
Super great video, big thumbs up :)
Brilliant video! I had a great day riding and chasing the S160s!
Fantastic series of videos with the S160s. Some great captures there.

Great footage! If I remember what he said correctly, my great uncle got to operate an S160 in WW2 as an American soldier
They look a bit "Naked" without a headlight, its amazing how they were only meant to last for 3 months, and end up lasting for 70 years
