We've seen buffets in Las Vegas and we've seen buffets in Asia, I can't wait to see what the historical buffet at the Court of Two Sisters has to offer in New Orleans.
After a nice dinner with some friends at New Orleans' oldest restaurant, Antione's Restaurant, I decided to venture out and explore while my friends were resting...and it was a morning well spent. I can't think of a better way to sample for Southern French-Creole cuisine than with a buffet. From the succulent prime rib to the sherry infused turtle soup, it was a great meal. Some of the favorites: Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Turtle Soup au Sherry, Shrimp Etouffee, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Corn Macque Choux
If you're in the New Orleans area, I would highly recommend a visit.

Hey, Gilda! I can’t wait to try this buffet when I’m in N.O. again, and I hope to be able to meet you!
Yes Tim. Quite a few ❤. Thank you 😊
Hi Gilda thanks for being so nice to Tim.. Go Gilda
Helloooooooo Ms..Gilda❤ I worked with you in the Quarters, I would say Teedie you would say hey my Babyyyy,we had many laughs 😂😂😂😂
I love how you call the workers by their names, you make them feel comfortable. Your reviews are like experiences
They were such good sports and very welcoming
Yes - it's like he takes us out to eat wherever he goes. And is the ONLY Restaurant Tester that is actually very kind to every server he meets
First time I ate at The Court of Two Sisters was in 1980 on my first trip to NOLA, never forgot it. Great review, watching your reviews is very relaxing, peaceful and entertaining, like watching Mr Rogers.
They did a really nice job at the buffet and the service was top-notch. Like southern hospitality at its finest.
he's mr rogers 3rd cousin
You are spot on comparing Tim to Mr. Rogers. He has a gentle way of expressing himself.
Court of Two Sisters is a New Orleans Institution. Food & Service is superior. Highly recommend. I first visited there in 1980. I love it !!
Tim .. we appreciate your kind reviews of the hospitality staff as well as your sense of humour is starting to show in your videos :)
NOLA is so beautiful...fantastic people, scenery and food...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗❤
Good ole southern hospitality ❤️.
New Orleans. Beautiful brunch. Brings back great memories. Thank you.
Tim Lee going with the cornbread over the French bread. I love this guy. Respect to you sir!
Gilda's jewelry was so pretty! Everyone looks like they work very hard. I'd love to visit! So glad to find your video.
It was a very good experience. Good food and great people.😃
@Krohnos, I 👀 ya, thank you 😊.. hey TIM
Hello Tim.
Nice to see you in New Orleans.
I never miss your Videos.
Court of Two Sister's is Excellente.
Be safe and enjoy Brunch 😉
I've been there many years ago. Their food was great, and we loved the atmosphere too. They even had a jazz band came up (right in front of our table) for a brief performance.
Tim Good Afternoon. What a lovely Courtyard. Turtle Soup wow. Red beans and rice a favorite. I was lucky enough to work Out of New Orleans on a contract for several months. Great Food of which I availed myself when ashore. And the 'Night' life. 👍Best
Thank you so much and really enjoyed New Orleans. First time having turtle soup and tasted great.
A beautifully proposed mimosa accompanying a symphony from the morning birds makes me so hopeful for the spring season to arrive back here in Canada! Everything looks so tasty thank you for exposing us to such a vibrant new cuisine! 🙌💕
New Orleans still have some of its dynamism left, and the food is ALWAYS amazing..
You are an equal opportunity food blogger, we love you for it.. Tim thanks for sharing!👍👍👍👍👍😊
Really enjoyed the food in now Orleans..though we had a few misses at some of the places in the French quarter
Nice buffet. We ate at the Court of Two Sisters in the mid-70's..pre-buffet days. I wish we could have enjoyed a buffet back then. Thanks, Tim for showing us the new offerings there. We love NOLA! ❤❤ So many great places to enjoy great food there!! 😋👍👍
Tim!!❤Many Blessings to you and safe travels. Thank you for another grand video.
Thank you so much for your well wishes. Very much appreciated.🙏
Tim, ur mix & match of food is fantastic. U seem to always hit the right spots of mixing food. 👌
New subscriber here Tim. Your kindness to everyone is so appreciated. I love your content and your friends. Keep up the great work 😊
My friend who is originally from New Orleans just moved back and I visited her once. Sadly we did not get a chance to do the Court of Two Sisters but this is on the top of my list for next time. I love the stack of shrimp piled high! I would be tempted to get plate after plate of shrimp and cocktail sauce for my entire meal. The swamp tours are exciting. I’d never been that close to an alligator before! There is also a really cool place called “the Museum of Pharmacy”. They had all kinds of old medication bottles and medical tools. Glass eyes, forceps, a bottle of Bayer Heroin… the medical field surely has moved light years ahead! However, the food traditions of New Orleans are kept alive. Funny how those industries changed.
Thank you so much for reaching out and what a great way to visit New Orleans then to have a friend to visit there as well. I should’ve spent more time in the museum as well. We just didn’t have enough time. Will definitely keep a note for the museum or pharmacy! Thank you so much for the great tips
I live in Kenner. About 15 miles from New Orleans. One of the few places that I enjoy visiting that is not a tourist trap. Personally, the best time to go is around 10:30 - 11:00 because they begin to transition food to a more lunch menu. You must go to the omelet section. They make an incredible crawfish omelet with a Monica sauce that is outstanding. The icing on the cake is they start with sauteing thinly sliced onions and green peppers.
OK, you got me at crawfish omelette! I got to go back😋
Tim, you are a fabulous man! You're great with people and very entertaining no matter what the crowd is.
It’s quite nice in New Orleans as everyone was in a party mood
As always…..the BEST FOOD VLOGGER!!!! Keep them coming Tim!🎉
Tim you are amazing, my favorite buffet reviewer... I just don't understand why you don't have more followers, keep it up, I predict over a million subs by end of 2025.
You are killing me. With all this wonderful food. I'm Louisiana born, and raised so I know the food is fantastic! The problem is I'm sitting here with a stomach virus, only allowed to eat bland food, jello, etc! 😮
I live an hour from there, on the Gulf of Mexico. Their red beans and rice is wonderful. I wish you were there in 2 weeks, when the Wisteria is in bloom. The courtyard is covered with flowers, so beautiful.
The staff are wonderful, attentive but never intrusive. The old restaurants in the city offer an excellent experience.
For Cajun food, drive over to Lafayette. True French, isolated until the interstate system connected them to the world. It is a very special place, full of the nicest people I have ever meat.
It’s kind of interesting because something is simple as red rice and beans while doesn’t sound like much is very tasty😋
@Tim Lee: The food looks delicious! Thanks for sharing these buffet videos.
Everything looks amazing 😂 this is definitely one buffet I would have loved to join you for!
I really enjoyed this review! Looking forward to trying this restaurant soon. We’re looking for new places to try, during our next visit to New Orleans. Thanks for sharing!
I just realized I missed so many great places in New Orleans! The court of two sisters was quite an excellent experience. Good food and as always, it’s the people that makes the difference.
Be in New Orleans in a week what's the best time to go to two sisters? This looks amazing! Can't Wait!
You are killing me. With all this wonderful food. I'm Louisiana born, and raised so I know the food is fantastic! The problem is I'm sitting here with a stomach virus, only allowed to eat bland food, jello, etc! But it looks so darn tasty!!!!😮
The Egg Cookery .. soft(runny) @ 3 min. and 5 min. for all (the way). But she thinks he's saying having it cooked 'whole'!! At least that's my take, lol. Love meeting ppl!!😊🌿
Tim, your videos always make me smile. Keep up the good work!
Tim, just got back to Nola after a dozen or so years.. will check ‘‘em out! Great video! ❤😊
You are in the land of big eaters but I doubt if anyone has put butter, potato salad and chicken salad on a biscuit. Nicely done. Local shrimp will beat jumbo shrimp in Las Vegas any day. Desserts weren't fancy but looked very rich. Hello from a snowy Corvallis Oregon.
Very nice and certainly a good value. I too am not a banana fan, but would have absolutely gone for the pecan pie! The prime rib and creamed spinach looked delish. And, as fate woul have it, I have made jambalaya for dinner, which I am sure couldn't possibly be as good as the real deal in New Orleans! Thanks Tim! Another great food adventure!
I wish I had known about this place when I was in NO last year!
I like to watch you vlog about buffet eating in many place as if i have been there thank so much...
Thank you so much for reaching out and thank you for your kind comment. Really enjoyable and grateful to get to visit these places and share the experience.
Tim: now that buffet is a real winner! First of all, it's not out in the boondocks but right in the French Quarter, no Uber! Secondly, what a pleasant courtyard setting with a super nice staff! Thirdly, the selection of dishes & the quality of the preparations made $35+ drinks, tax & tip, a steal! I was impressed with the duck! Great find😊
Really nice video. Great info. The buffet looks delicious. Thanks Tim, take care.
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🙏
Tim , if you didn’t take the potato I would dislike the video 😂 thanks for the amazing video
Great video today Tim ! Thanks for the review hopefully I'll get to go soon ! I never stay for desert . 😊
This is going to be a great review - the music tells me so..😊❤ The courtyard is beautiful. Have never seen a Bloody Mary garnished like that, looks great actually. Hoping you get to the Prime Rib, too. Which you did. While not under the red heating lamp, you still got a substantial nicely cooked tender piece with au jus. I would have been content. And I l?ove shrimp in almost any manner. 🌿❤️
*While the food trays were kept full and inviting - I wish they had more space between them for an easy clean up. Foods appear to be like Grandma's Home Cooked Southern Foods, and many ppl adore the food here for that reason. You had my mouth watering bc some looked especially well-seasoned.. 🌿🔥 YUM!!!❤️
God bless you too 🙏 the people were so nice I'd love to try it one day
Adding, this place on my bucket list👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!
Love, the staff❤️.
The servers and hosts were showing southern hospitality at it's finest
Looks delicious. Will definitely try them out on our next trip there!
Tim, the food and restaurant looked wonderfull. Thanks for sharing.❤
The hospitality in New Orleans is second to none. A great place to visit.
Nice buffet! I'll be in NO in October, I hope to be able to check this place out.
Oh my God!! It's the Court of two Hoods!! I word in that correctional facility!! 😅
Hi Tim Lee!! It's been awhile since I've seen your post. I don't recall seeing any notifications. But I'm so glad I found this one.
Sorry to hear about the misses down there with the food. I don't think it's been great since covid kicked in. But glad you got to be with friends.
Thank you so much for reaching out! Found some really great places in New Orleans and yeah, there were a few misses but not too bad 😋
In Australia I do a sweet potato mash to have with my scotch fillet steak - I just love it! Love your videos too Tim. Big fan!
That sounds amazing and I am just talking to my family members in Australia. Currently asking them for great places to eat in Sydney and Melbourne.
@@TimLeeLetsGo Not sure about Melbourne but will hit you up with some tips for NSW Sydney region for sure xxx
Tim come to Scotland so much great food here to review.
I have heard about that amazing food in Scotland😋
Ciao Tim 👋👋👋
Greetings from Greenwich London ⚓️⛵️
Cheers 🦪🍸😋👍🌹✅
Greetings to you too❤️
That food looked Amazing ❤
You're my boy , Tim ! You always make the perfect bites! I want a bloody Mary in the worst way rn 😂
A biscuit makes a great delivery service for the savory dishes! You make the best bites!
I can't think of a better delivery vehicle 😋
Tim, thank you for this informative video. Is the live jazz music pretty consistent all through the brunch window of time or do they play only at certain times? Thanks!
Hello tim you're first time there huh? Been there several times the french quarter is hit & miss with some restaurants but very nice food service staff. I'm glad you enjoyed the buffet.
Tim, I first dined at Court of Two Sisters decades ago as a child. You scored here! Next time I also suggest brunch at Brennan’s, which is excellent and the birthplace of bananas Foster 😋
I was really impressed with the food and the service at the court of two sisters. We were contemplating on trying Brennan’s, but we had a limited amount of time in budget.
Great video tim everything looks so good!
Thank you so much🙏
@@TimLeeLetsGo 🤗👍
That corn looked amazing
It was such a nice way to sample all the food there . the corn was delicious indeed 😆
Very enjoyable video ..I will check out more of your videos.. bon appetit!
Always ask the locals. Awesome seafood restaurant located in Hilton by casino. 😊
what type of bugs is that on the table, at 21:41 ? just curious.
Hello Tim, hope your're doing well. Thank you for sharing your food adventures and travel. Love the channel. Keep up the fanstic work you doing. It was nice meeting you at Harvest Buffet in Tacoma, WA. Love the CocaCola t-shirt...LOL! Hope you enjoyed the unlimited delicious food. Can wait to see your review at Harvest Buffet.
It was a pleasure to meet you Wilbur. Thank you so saying Hi. I just recently got home and did not expect the snow fall on the highway. It's another adventure... getting up for work will be tough tomorrow 😉
Looking very yummy 😋😋😋❤❤
Did they have beignets ? I was surprised that they were not mentioned or not on the menu
Hey, Tim. New Orleans has the best Creole foods in the world 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😋😋👍👍👍👍
I cannot agree more! 😀
Hello Mr. Tim Lee
Please can you explain what turtle soup is?
I'm not sure if it is Turtle or not.?
You are such a gentleman when talking with all the servers at the buffets.
I apologize if this is silly. question.
I go to buffets but where I live I don't know where there are buffets around me. Do people give you funny looks when doing a video about buffets? Enjoy your meal and stay healthy and happy..🎉❤ also what are those biscuits? They remind me of UK Scones without sultanas in there? I think you better watch out for birds you might lose your meal.😂😂
Last time I hit Court of Two Sisters was just before Andrew nearly hit New Orleans (1992)... It was wonderful...but it seems to have a lot more "filler" items this time around... You aught to take the trolley to Commanders Palace.... or try Arnaud's (very expensive)... or down home Cajun at Mulate's (near the Riverwalk)
We were contemplating on commanders palace. It would have been great if we got a chance to go, but limited time and budget.😌
The camera angle at 11:30 is a great perspective.
Il agree twin sisters is a great restaurants with good value buffet most restaurant in french quarter are over price and quality is not as good like 10 yr ago .
Tim,
Great video
Cheers.
Am being tempted to go on a " buffet" rampage,,, of all kinds, lol
Prime rib ❤
😋
Where are you putting all that food? Everything looks fabulous I just can't eat that much at one time. I wish I could!!
You in Waikiki?? I think I just saw u cross the street by hale koa and Hilton 😊
Is there only seating outside?
There’s both indoor and outdoor seating
Man I'm jealous that you went to both Antoine's and Court of Two Sisters! I was dying to try both of them back in 2022 but did not get any luck
I hope you get a chance to visit again. Very glad that the area is picking up and busy. Both are great experience and very different. Make sure to try the Cafe Brulot ... very tasty
@@TimLeeLetsGo will do!
It's all about the prime rib
I don't normally see black owned buffet restaurants. So this was nice and different to see for a change.
I was pleasantly surprised how something as simple as red beans and rice can taste so good 👍
Hi Tim, love the new camera, it's looks more cinematic. Also Asian flush can be very dangerous. It's leads to esophageal cancer for those (normally of southeast Asian descent and some native Americans) who have the unavailability (missing enzymes) to break down acetate from alcohol. You should tell your friend longer term it's hot safe for her 😢 I'm speaking from experience and also did research as part of my doctorate.
Thank you so much for the detail comments, and I have let my friend know as well. She turned really red there.😮

All that food looks amazing. How do you keep so slim with all that delicious food?😊
You’re very kind 🙏
Very nice 🤠
Tim! Y'ALL'S has a good 👍 taste 👌
They did such an amazing job there. Great food and great servers.🙂
please i d like to know that is there the alike resturant in Vancouver,bc Canada?
Me too!!!
Convienient store/gas station food in NO is the best... Iykyk.
Believe it or not, we had the best po boy at the gas station
Hey Tim, Great video. You even made it interesting to watch despite the food being so brown, boring, and bleak.
When are you coming around Taiwan to eat great Taipei food. You are very welcome here. Don't know why you don't seem have any video of Taiwan visiting. You have lots of fans here. Happy belated lunar new year
Love prime rib, but I am picky about my au jus. Outback’s is my favorite!
If U truly love prime rib, the Outback ain't the place to get it!
Try Lawry's the prime rib, unfortunately the iconic Chicago location is no more, I've been Fortunate enough to have eaten numerous times at all locations, including the now closed Chicago.
This is the Lawry's Seasoned Salt people. The original location Beverly hills.
Also there is a world famous prime rib house in San Francisco (very much worth a visit), a few old fashioned supper clubs like Svilars in Hudson Wyoming, which is an absolute must visit!
World renowned gastronome Duncan Hine secretly dined there for years!
Later wrote about it!
House made ravioli, sarma and and olde fashioned relish tray delivered to your table before you order your drink, complementary!
Their house made Blu cheese dressing to die for, as the prime rib!
Most all prime rib offered today, is simply a rib steak boiled in au jus, if it arrives brown exterior, vs fresh carved appearing red or pink, that's what they did!
Even many restaurants that carve it to order, the roast is refrigerated pre roasted, and again brought back to life in boiling au jus!
Prime Rib peaked in the US restaurant industry c1980, it's been downhill since!
Prime rib should not look gray I thought when I first saw it looked like it was steamed or boiled, and as I read on, it is boiled who the hell boils meat?
No grits?
I missed the grits🤦♂️😉
The hostess name Ivory not Ivy, the correct name is right there on her tag. You called her Ivy several times.
I must have missed that and it was actually quite loud in there
i know of antoine's from bugs bunny
I have heard of that, too! I wonder if that’s where it came from😆
@@TimLeeLetsGo ua-cam.com/video/5ydgVZQctkk/v-deo.htmlsi=3bK1Q7IEUdPIZ8Vd
The prime rib looked steamed. This place didn’t look so great.
I think it was steamed and baked as well, it was really tender though. It’s enjoyable and quite good for the price.
It's a buffet eat up
Poor turtles! 💔
🐢 😢
Those arnt SHIPS they are pirogue's.
Always amazes me when you see a grown adult who can not manage to use simple tools like a spoon or fork.........the futile attempt at the chocolate cake and ice cream along with the difficulty in bringing to his mouth is something like feeding time in the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Unfortunately the presentation of the hot food wasn’t a good showcase of items, looked more like cafeteria style
All buffet food is very low quality
Yeah pretty much!
But there are a few 5 star, good ones!
The tradeoff U pay!
Most buffets the food intentionally makes you uncomfortable, taste is less than stellar intentionally, so you don't want to eat it!
Todai was an incredable Japanese Buffet, nothing like it on earth!
Quickly went downhill, all locations now gone!
I don't like using curse words
