I got a better plan of catching the bird.....and I'm on it. I saw one back in 2009 I won't tell the place, but we usually saw some of them in weeks or months, and from 2009 until 2017 we usually see some flying around our villages mosooi and nonu trees. The reason why the bird is hiding from those particular places and areas that they were usually found like Fagalo, the Anoamaa region, and Savaii around Salelavalu and Patamea is because they are afraid of hunter. My village doesn't practice the "Faga na Lupe" culture since the independent era of Samoa, and that is because we usually ate a Sea fauna before it was prohibited by the Government in the 2010s. Our loving of eating this fish earned us a nick name that many Matai used to umiliate us in public cerommony which I won't stated for the sake of my village. We always spotted the bird both in the village and the also in the forest. And we would like to keep it that way.
