Rest them. This teams played lots of football the last 3 years. Let everyone get healthy. 23 days off these guys are going to come out the divisional round excited and itching to play.
I agree. DJ didn't look good. And I'm certain it's no indication of talent, just not enough time to get him going. THIS rendition works....don't fix it
Be balanced. Give DJ his shot against the Broncos. Guage his play and determine what's best for the playoffs. I trust Reid. He CERTAINLY knows what he's doing!😊😊
I think they should play at least 1 quarter vs. the Broncos, especially if Rashee Rice is ready to play. We also need more game and team experience playing a formidable opponent while still entering Hollywood Brown into this lineup. Those who have nagging injuries but have lots of experience with this current lineup, i.e. Chris Jones, should just sit and rest.
My bad. He still has no chance of playing in the final game. However, he could still come back sometime during the playoffs. That has yet to have been ruled out.
@@LetsGoBrandon321 he’s been ruled out for the rest of the entire season and playoffs. Also he’ll be suspended at the beginning of next season. We won’t see rice for a while.
Why in the world would you play your stateres for a meaningless game and risking injury!!? One more game win or lose isnt going to make a damned bit of difference a month from now!! Thats what practice is for!!
I’d play anyone who isn’t injured for at least a drive or two. Regardless we don’t have enough players to not play any starters unless you are going to pull up a lot of guys from the practice squad
@chrisp2813 I'm no doctor, but they have really good doctors that worked oh him and NOBODY has ever said anything at all about him coming back at any point this season. That's just the facts and I was sharing. If you have heard someone from the KC organization say otherwise, please share.
Not worried about the rust vs rest. The chiefs buck all trends
True that. Also, isn’t Andy Reid’s record after a bye week really, really good? This team can definitely use the rest.
Yessir

Prepare the back ups and sharpen their skills to be ready for the final stretch . . . to the three-peat.
We NEED to keep Thuney at LT. He moves back to guard the 3-peat is over.
No we don’t. DJ is about to be in tip top shape. We’re going to be able to run the ball a lot better after Thuney go back to his natural position.

I think they’ll be good moving thuney back when DJ is healthy. And if it doesn’t look good, make the switch in game. I’m not worried at all.

They aren’t going to sit around and do nothing they are going to be practicing getting all the injury returns ready.

Rashee Rice? What the hell you talking about?

@LetsGoBrandon321 that's been definitely ruled out. There is, however, a chance for Jalen Watson.

@@LetsGoBrandon321bruh rice is fkn gone til next October 😂🤦♂️
Rest the starters
The Chiefs have had a longer rest before and still win the Super Bowl
Wrong. They’ve never had 24 days between games. What makes you think that?
our bye was week 6, not week 8. important point, though, about the early bye.
Super early bye. And a silly schedule at the end. Still overcame everything. Merry Chiefsmas.
You're right! I knew it was around the 49ers game just couldn't remember if it was before or after.
Yeah. I think that was part of why they really wanted the #1 seed, to give themselves a break.

I don’t think AR is planning to lose to Donkeys. He’ll game plan with CW at qb. Def ranked no. 1 in pts per game. Rest vets and injured.
Don't overdramatize.
It's great for the injured players but could come out rusty with too much rest. Seen it in every sport.
Yes, me too. However, isn’t Andy Reid’s record really, really good after a bye week?
Is Rashee Rice ever coming back? He could have been recovered from a double knee replacement by now.
That is NOT how that works. Definitely not been long enough. He was never coming back this season.
Thanks doctor. Why don’t you tell US why he’s not coming back.
not this year
