I always scratch my head when, in the same breath, fans say Kobe had no talent after Shaq left, and then praise Lamar Odom for his role in 09 and 10. Like, he had Odom AND Caron Butler and couldn't do anything. Fact of the matter is he was not ready. Similar to Iverson. Everyone knows Iverson played with a trash heap most of his career, but the truth is he either couldn't or wouldn't play nicely with other good players. Dirk above Lebron and AI is a No No

He didn't go back to back period

bro where mcgrady at??
I always scratch my head when, in the same breath, fans say Kobe had no talent after Shaq left, and then praise Lamar Odom for his role in 09 and 10. Like, he had Odom AND Caron Butler and couldn't do anything. Fact of the matter is he was not ready. Similar to Iverson. Everyone knows Iverson played with a trash heap most of his career, but the truth is he either couldn't or wouldn't play nicely with other good players. He literally chased every other star or potential star out of Philly. From Stackhouse, to Van Horn, to Big Dog Robinson. Difference between him and Kobe, Kobe eventually figured it out as he matured. Iverson never really grew up .
And when he DID have help, in Denver, they couldn’t push through. Those teams had some really good talent around Carmelo and AI.
@@andrewarnold9751 I agree 100%, that's when I realized Melo was going to be a career loser. He was not quite as bad as Iverson, but he's another one who never figured out that scoring 30 a game on poor efficiency doesn't get you anywhere.
I disagree kobe is not the beat player in the 2000s bc well its cosistemcy and timmy d overpowers him
Timmy & Shaq overpowers him.
Kobe averaged more points assists and steals than Duncan, Kobe lead the league in scoring twice and Duncan never lead the league in any statistical catagory. Kobe also had more of an impact on the game than any player in the 2000s.
@@younggod3906 Maybe thats why Kobe won 2 championships without Shaq, and Shaq only won one championship without Kobe..
@Zack Tom how come bron bron is better than kobe in 00's era. he choked on 2009. all nba fan expected that kobe & lebron facing on the finals.
@@marlowstanfield6815 Averaging more points and assists don't make him better than Duncan, especially assists when he's a guard. Tim's 03 playoff run is more impressive than anything Kobe did that decade cuz he did it with barely any help. People have take into account DRob wasn't his prime self, Parker wasn't that good yet, and Manu was only a rookie. Nearly having a quadruple double game is extremely impressive as well
You left out KG dpoy in 07-08
Where is Tracy? Don't say because of Rings or Injuries. You had quite a few on here that fit that description. Great list all together just swap out Jason Kidd for T-Mac.
CONGRATS OG.ana.bit
Honorable mentions:
Cp3
Dwight
Melo
Yao
Tmac
Pierce too
Can u make your top ten players of all time.
Dwade should be higher wtf
It's only cuz he only had 6 yrs in the decade.. Including his rookie yr
@@grantrmoore 06 champ/ f mvp carried team , 08 scoring champ alone should put him top 5 in my book.
J kidd and nash where kinda of overrated in the 00s not really superstar lvl. Tmac and paul pierce should be in the list
Shaq ! 4 NBA titles in the 2000's!! From 2000 - 2003 Shaq was the most dominant NBA player of all time! 35pts and 15 boards a game with nearly 3 blocks a game during that time???? Plus an NBA title in Miami along side a prime D. Wade in 2006???? Whoooo!!! Won 3 NBA Finals MVP's in 2000, 2001, and 2002! And....won 3 NBA all star game MVP's!!!! Dam!!!
Shaquille 3 peated he was the better big man period
The Big Fundamental is the greatest player of the 00s.
10. Jason Kidd
9. Steve Nash
8. Allen Iverson
7. Dirk Nowitzki
6. Dwyane Wade
5. LeBron James
4. Kevin Garnett
3. Tim Duncan
2. Shaquille Oneal
1. Kobe Bryant
Wow.. Putting Wade over those players who win MVP..
Great list I just have Wade higher
Duncan have to guard shaq and Kobe guarded Bruce Bowen
Do top rookies to ever win a championship
Kobe got 5 rings but great vid 😌
He's talking about in the 2000s
Last one was in 2010
C-Webb?
The real mystery : does Wilson Sy have legs?
LA Cruz nope
Dwade way too low on this list
Ai is top 5, Wade is ahead of lbj nash an dirk atleast... Kidd put the nets in the finals... But Wade is atleast top 7... I saw his 90s list and he just puts his favorites ahead... U can't justify dirk over ai and Wade... You can't put him ahead of nash and lbj... Dirk is 10 arguably... Put billups or Paul pierce there...
Sy Wilson is a Kobe Bryant fan boy.
In my opinion dirk is the fourth best player in the decade.
You really hates Diwght Howard, huhh? 😂 , at least give him a spot in the honorable mentions
He was elite for only the last 3 years of the 2000s though. He’s one of those players whose primes overlapped decades.
Tim Duncan over Kobe clearly. Could argue Shaq over Kobe also.
cookiefp Facts. I feel the same fam.
Shut up kid
Wade Should be rank higher
Paul pierce should be ahead of wade
Nash should be higher because he had a big impact in the game and his 3rd in all time point guard of all-time behind Stockton and Magic
Common men the fact that his 3rd in all time point guard is enough to rank him higher, idiot
@Tod Wilkinson man you're stupid ,watch top 10 greatest point guard in mixtape videos for you to know the ranking, and to know the winshares of nash in regular season and play offs
Kobe was the best player for a stretch of 2 to maybe 3 seasons between 08-10. 05 - 07 Kobe was a Top 10 player look it up where Kobe was ranked, but it's your eye test and opinion. 2000 he was a Top 10 player. There were a plethora of all star to super starplayers still at Kobe's level around that time.
2001 - 2004 he was consistantly a Top 5 player
ehh, 2008 is when lebron became the best player in the league imo. He won mvp 08-09 and 09-10 and straight carried those awful cav teams. I know kobe went back to back around that time but he had much better teammates, replace bron with kobe on those laker teams and he is also winning those 2 rings.
Why Paul Pierce not top 10
Where's Ray Allen
vloneMell tv Paul Pierce was better 😂
Yeah he was but Allen had the better but Pierce had the better stats
you noob asshole
Rondo > Allen
@@john-pu3cw Fuck you you're noob
What up Wilson
Having a fun time re watching my content, hope you enjoy the video Joey
I think nash imo
Duncan has to be #1.
Garnett can't be above Dirk.. Too many seasons before he got to a playoff game
Wade over Iverson
No Wade is overrated.
Iverson is so overrated
@@josephraymondreyes1088 bandwagon
@@GSTURKENSTYLE na nash and kidd overrated not even superstars and nash stoled 2 mvp 2006 wasnt even the second best in the conference. Tmac and paul pierce > them
wade at 10 is criminal
I agree with this list. But Tim Duncan is the clear no.1 in 2000-09
50+wins
Never miss the playoffs.
Team is always a title contender.
5 rings > 3 rings
@@goatman380 Kobe is the 2nd option in 3 of those . Tim Duncan never played with a player that is considered a top 10 player in 2000s.
joel greatz Kobe out preform Shaq most of the time in the playoffs. Shaq only won fmvp because, he faced weaker competition in the finals. Kobe still have a winning record against Tim Duncan in the playoffs without Shaq. Kobe was better than Tim
How the hell did Tracy Mcgrady not make this list??? Wheres Melo and Lebron?
🤦 you clearly did not watch the video? Melo top ten the fk he not even over chris weber, paul pierce, tmac or chris paul
I think Iverson deserved a higher spot, the answer was great
From 94-95 to 04-05 Shaq was the best player over these years (Jordan was better at the start, but didn't play every year and the wizard years)
Tim was 03-05 two titles
