I just got my hands on one of those HP mini PC's. My work friend was tossing it because it ran like crap. Come to find out it was using a full size mechanical HDD as the boot drive. I threw in a 256Gb NVME a secondary 4tb HDD, a low profile Quadro p1000 4gb card, 16gb of RAM 7th Gen i5 and W11 Pro (all stuff I had lying around the shop). This is now the PC attached to my TV and used as my media computer. Great little system.
Appreciate these vids guys. Just got into pc building in the last couple years at almost 40 y.o. I understand now when people say once you build your first your hooked. Your vids have helped me learn so much. Thanks
yall are aware that the increase in price is how business, labor and fees work right? just like if you were buying furniture and didn't want to assemble it yourself, you're able to pay people to do it for you. but yes thanks for stating the obvious
They do that with optiplexes a LOT which I funny understand why, but honestly it is kinda neat. Put since better hardware in it, and it would be a great machine!
It's an interesting idea to add more options to these office PCs that can't support full sized GPUs. I think they could have designed it a bit better. For instance, if the GPU housing came to the top of the Optiplex, to me, that would look better. Also, a half ventilated/tempered glass side panel would be great, better airflow and you could still see inside. Just some thoughts.
Love the video, been subscribed since forever, but please the camera man should try too keep more steady the constant moving around is making me nauseous, and the constant moving around makes camera and me hard to focus
Interesting idea. Maybe if they let the gpu have air holes, giving it better temps and maybe overclocking past the default clocks for better performance.
My 2 boys run good homebuilt rigs but honestly my little one would freak out with the wow factor of this case. $650 could be wasted on worse than on this pc.
FYI that GPU is a Alibaba/Aliexpress OEM, I've seen them produce 3060M. They just different chips under the almost same PCB and heatsink. It's overall cheap materials if you ever come to teardown of the gpu.
Rivals you should set the SSGI to high, not lumen mind you, and Textures and models to high or medium, depending on VRAM. Shadows always medium or they don't exist, and low on all other settings.
yo bros luv di channel long time fan. i like the addition. different then the ones i came up with for my channel. dont like what they charge for their mod though. its good to see somebody coming up with a way to use full size cards with sff pcs. wish i could find the addition and front panels separate.
If only we could get merch with PCs + Cars mixed. A skyline on board trace of some shit lol side note, I feel like you would geek out over one of my cars lmao
It is sold out because you bought the only one LOL. I actually kind of dreamt of mounting the gpu outside of an sff. I did not think anyone would actually go that far. I mean for all of that effort you could just do a case swap.
In regards to the video, The pc lights were great, very 80's future tech. This is a creative way(low marks for no airflow vents) to get a bigger gpu working with a ssf desktop. A newer gen intel cpu would be better. I highly recommend the 8th gen i5 and i7 series and higher, 6 cores can really make a difference. But i know $$$. Most of the cheaper office pc's are 7th gen and older. I found a lenovo ideacentre 510 on bid at a low price($43+20ship). Lenovo Idea center 510 have limits (only 2 dims) low air flow, and needing a new psu.- (preferably a lenovo 500w with a 10 pin connector). If a third party psu is used the pc wont turn off properly even with a cable 24 to 10 pin converter. I had to return mine, it would use one ram slot at a time and would still fail after some use in windows with only one dimm. I read it may have been that the cpu may be bad wouldn't except two ram dimms. I didn't want to buy another cpu. Though It's still a debate whether a new bid is better than a rebuild office pc. Depends what you have on hand, but these used office pc's generally need a new psu and are limiting on the physical size of the GPU. I've found the 1660s and ti to be the best bang for the buck used at about $100 and they are a smaller card with a low tdp. At this point I'd rather build with a new case using a mix of used and new components.
I actually like the way it looks a lot, if it ditched that signature silver HP "optiplex" strip and went full black i think it'd be clean tbh. Maybe i just have shit taste lmao
That is an EliteDesk right? Not an Optiplex. I mean it is navel gazing but it looks a ton like the HP under my stairs that runs a chunk of my homelab and not a Dell.
is it worth $600 no... but is it a clever way to make ewaste useable again with some character yes... if it was cheaper it would be a awesome rig for a batocera build for ur living room
The core concept is commendable, though I'd rather see some paintjobs on the cases instead of all that RGB garbage, better choice of components (why 32 GB RAM on this thing?) and definitely low-profile GPUs for SFF machines instead of that tumor/riser contraption.
this might out perform the pcs you guys have with integrated graphics? Did anyone try going into the bios to see if they could make the cpu use all it's voltage or speed up the ram?
it's might be crap by today standart of gaming but this pc would probably run most if not every games I really want to play the most. I don't even care for next gen games , what I had the most fun with recently are games like webfishing , Selaco , Cultic , Miside and Fantasian Neo Dimmension that are all titles that can run on potatoes.
I usually watch and enjoy but that pos is definitely not worth $638, You can build that PC with a 12400f in a good case for less. But I don't need to tell you that, the info was for others.
I actually like the way it looks, I would never pay over $600 for it though. I’ll give y’all $300 for it as is and I’ll even let keep all the peripherals. 😂
I got my first gaming pc of from techmagnet and I got a i5 4690k and gt 1030 really bad and the power supply fan was broken so it would overheat and turn off
At this point let's just see what it's like gaming on the average $500.00 desktop computer 🖥️ . We're only marketing old hardware . It's not 2020 anymore .
now that's a clever way of getting around the size limitations on SFF office pcs.
I just got my hands on one of those HP mini PC's. My work friend was tossing it because it ran like crap. Come to find out it was using a full size mechanical HDD as the boot drive. This PC showed up on my Amazon front page, and I thought, "I can't wait for Toasty Bros to review this." Did not disappoint.
Appreciate these vids guys. Just got into pc building in the last couple years at almost 40 y.o. I understand now when people say once you build your first your hooked. Your vids have helped me learn so much. Thanks
That thing is GLORIOUS!
Wdym
Certainly a.... Specimen of a PC, I don't even know if Specimen describes the absolute amalgam of a PC
The case looks awesome
This is $400 PC, if that. Anything more not worth it.
the pc itself is worth like 50 dollars, the gpu is like 150?, the mods to the case are worth 1000 dollars, they think, i bet lol
yall are aware that the increase in price is how business, labor and fees work right? just like if you were buying furniture and didn't want to assemble it yourself, you're able to pay people to do it for you. but yes thanks for stating the obvious
I actually like the way it looks it’s cool
That is a cool looking case.
They do that with optiplexes a LOT which I funny understand why, but honestly it is kinda neat. Put since better hardware in it, and it would be a great machine!
They say this pc is stupid but people buy pc cases that are in a shape of a shoe 😂

"In this scene, Rodney Robot is running away from trash because he became magnetized after attempting to enter bigwells inventing emporium."

Add a triangle up top and make this pc a house from Illumination.
"Not until now" lmao I love the outside input :s
Who else has been watching Toasty Bros for a while ✋
Prob like 2 years now
i think im on like 2-3 years they give me my computer building fix lolol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 no cap
3 years they have great build ideas for when I’m bored.
I've been watching for a few years now and bought my first pc from them a year and half ago and love it.
@@BenjaminBlack-ee4mi nice, i made my custom
This is the Zeus of Thor love & thunder. Tutu and everything included.
The design is freaking awesome, even if it's a hot box. The next internation would of course be adding hidden airflow
Glad I stayed awake a little longer to see this video
Love the video, been subscribed since forever, but please the camera man should try too keep more steady the constant moving around is making me nauseous, and the constant moving around makes camera and me hard to focus
Sorry about that! Will try experimenting recording in higher framerates to help try and smooth out the videos. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic😅
Better and cheaper than my PlayStation 5 PRO
Certainly a unique build
That looks really cool for real! Well done.
this is worth it for that sweet RGB alone.
The pc is freaking audible in this video yeeesh
I GOT ALL MY PARTS EXCEPT MY CASE AND I HOLDED THE CPU IT WAS SCARY FIRST BUT THEN IT LOOKED EASY AND FELT EASY IRL
Interesting idea. Maybe if they let the gpu have air holes, giving it better temps and maybe overclocking past the default clocks for better performance.
I freakin' love this. I actually had a plan to do something exactly like this haha.
its not a optiplex its a hp eli desk
They're kinda similar tbh
That rounded silver front with horrible power button and usb ports
that look sick hope i can get one here in australia
I like the concept.
Have been working on a project pc where i convinced a dual fan rx 7700 to fit inside a lenovo m90s sff. No tumor.
Love the cat hair hoodie!
I love this case
this is a cool looking case.
its like adding onto a house, needed a bedroom for the step kid 😂😂
Frankenstein is *DEFINITELY* the right word for this thing! 😆
I saw this pop up on Walmart a few weeks ago and immediately thought it needed a Toasty Bros appearance. 😂
My 2 boys run good homebuilt rigs but honestly my little one would freak out with the wow factor of this case. $650 could be wasted on worse than on this pc.
I HAVE THAT SAME HOODIE WITH THE R34 AS A SHIRT
One day this channel will be at 1m subs

LTT just built a new computer $540 with ryzen 5 5500 and intel arc b580! Hoping to see your guys thoughts on a build like that in the future
A for effort and design...D for execution and shipping...the scoffing is a little over the top
The case is cool I would have just swapped the parts lol.
yo bros luv di channel long time fan. i like the addition. different then the ones i came up with for my channel. dont like what they charge for their mod though. its good to see somebody coming up with a way to use full size cards with sff pcs. wish i could find the addition and front panels separate.
If you're going to create an entirely separate housing for the gpu, you at least need to put in a reasonable gpu for that price. Like a 6750xt
Expected delivery approximately 9 months.
If only we could get merch with PCs + Cars mixed. A skyline on board trace of some shit lol side note, I feel like you would geek out over one of my cars lmao
It is sold out because you bought the only one LOL.

yeah theres this crazy deal on a White ARGB vertical GPU mount bracket on Jawa.. even has free shipping 😅
It's like they put a spoiler and flame decals on a Nissan Sentra.
well executed, this would be a great idea for sff office pcs, id say

I think it looks pretty good. For plug and play system i can def see why people would buy it.
lint roll ya hoodie g
I am of two minds, I love small form factor but I hate riser cables.
The HP 6th gen is a better build than some of your optiplex builds but ya the goofy housing and price definitely flush it down the toilet.
performance mode will definitely boost the fps by a lot.
Great video alright 😊
headphones with the ears got to go lol
that is the best looking pos i have seen
LINT-ROLLER, PLEASE!
I actually like the way it looks a lot, if it ditched that signature silver HP "optiplex" strip and went full black i think it'd be clean tbh.
Maybe i just have shit taste lmao
Dead serious watched a video from the guy who built that 1660 pc right before this one
i've heard mention that soon games wont let gtx video cards run/perform it's going to rtx cards for games
sometimes e-waste just can't be salvaged
Why did the builder do this? Just use the full size towers. do they really have that many more sff cases? Crazy
It's an HP isn't it? Not an Optiplex?
Correct, we just call them all optiplex's by habit. Think of it as another name for office pc lol
Not gonna lie...I'd buy that purely for the novelty.
That is an EliteDesk right? Not an Optiplex. I mean it is navel gazing but it looks a ton like the HP under my stairs that runs a chunk of my homelab and not a Dell.
Great video, it was entertaining but I wouldn't spend $600+ for that. That previous $500 build with the RX 6600 is way better value
flipped on its side it kinda looks like a house I used to live in
always a good day when toasty bros posts
Did you guys ever do NSX GAMING? I got one off Amazon
Hey wondering if you can do a budget build with a wx pro4100
is it worth $600 no... but is it a clever way to make ewaste useable again with some character yes... if it was cheaper it would be a awesome rig for a batocera build for ur living room
You saying washers in the most Pittsburgh yinzers accent 😂
Does anybody know how to display all the information about the pc that’s in the top left hand corner (like the ram usage and fps) on the monitor?
Msi afterburner

Reminds me of the infamous South Park episode about Randy's big balls LOL
I don’t know if you can made a video with a pc DDR4 for 2025 please
Imagine doing that to an office pc that has a 14700 in it tho👀
man i tell yah, im loving the case design.... just upgrade mobo cpu GOLDEN.....
A little research would present red flags to not buy this pc for that price ..
That was quick. Already sold out. Other than a barebones model with no CPU or GPU. lol
They misspelled authorized on the box 😂
it's might be crap by today standart of gaming but this pc would probably run most if not every games I really want to play the most. I have a i7 6700 with 32 gb of tforce ram with a rtx 3060 12gb that looks just like that 1660 super
Lol. I saw this on Amazon the other day.
jesus
is that a 2x sata to pcie 8 pin adapter
thats a fire hazard in the pc XD
6th gen Intel actually as efficient as modern gen X3D?
At this point let's just see what it's like gaming on the average $500.00 desktop computer 🖥️ . We're only marketing old hardware . It's not 2020 anymore .
Bro, hit the lint roller before filming. Unless you just got done fighting a bear or something.
My dream car on his hoodie 😢
Yeah I know car hair when I see it
