Complementary color mottling! A pale purple wide-set mottled with a yellow, more compact mottled after that layer. Helps with building an interesting brown shade!
For realistic dark skin, it’s better to get the specific proportions of yellow and red base and then add blue. For example, in the winter, my undertone pulls more yellow, but in summer my undertone pulls red. So when I change foundation, I am choosing a darker overtone and a redder undertone.

Hey! I've really enjoyed watching you try painting darker skin dolls, it's so cool to be able to watch your journey! One thing I can suggest from an artist perspective is to play with undertones, especially on different parts of the face. If you look at darker skin people they have a wider variety of undertones and they may differ even in one face, so they might have more purple around the inner eyes or be more yellow or red rather than blue like someone with pale skin. As well id say don't be afraid of going dark, the last darker skin baby you did really isn't that dark in comparison to a lot of people's skin tones, so don't be afraid to play with how dark you go ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Yes as I add more detail I'll add more colour to different parts of the face, it's just a little scary in case it looks terrible 😅 thank you

Man jess i really admire your determination to make a black baby, honestly you are really an inspiration you keep pushing and you learn ad you go! Truly admirable. Im guessing your babies tend to look more indian/biracial mainly because of their hair texture, when i was a baby of that age and my baby sister we all had mini soft afros.. if you can find anything with maybe a 4a hair texture i think it might help but it might also be harder to work with because of the curls. I think the previous sculpts could work but the hair was too straight. Edit: make sure you are getting lots of rest after that surgery
Its so hard to make good accurate brown paint because most of the times it tends to have greyish undertone which is not accurate at all i watch a load of makeup videos and ive seen many where a darker person tries the brands darker foundations and they turn out grey so i definitely recommend to try to stick to more oranges and yellows maybe just so the babys skin wont turn out to look like ash, although you have made great job with your previous ones, they look so good ❤
