I dont usually like baby dolls, realistic or not, but your work is absolutely incredible! I keep coming back to your channel to see what you're working on, your tallent and passion is just so captivating! I hope the museum adores this doll, hes absolutely beautiful!
Well that was an absolutely fascinating to watch. I'm interested to know if you spend a long time scrutinising your friends/families babies to give you such detailed level if accuracy to your work😂.Such a good job! The museum must be thrilled - well done Jess !!
Next time 4:20 , use Goof off pro strength remover plus Winston and Newton brush wash. Add a Tbsp. (15ml) to a wash safe bowl of warm water, then scrub ass needed. Then wash off with some very strong soap! It should work!
Oh I love the BCLM as a West Midlands Region girl myself I've been there many times throughout my life, its such a lovely day trip experience. You did such a great job with this and I look forward to seeing the doll on display at my next available visit if the display is active!
I sent the video below because it instantly reminded me of this baby you reborn for the museum and what all it represents. You did an amazing job. Hope this brings you well earned joy sweet girl.
What an incredible job! He looks so much more accurate and lifelike now. I am always so inspired by your work and the dedication to realism that you aspire to
your work is incredible!! you are such a fantastic artist. you put so much time, effort, and love into each one of these little ones...not to mention you seem like a very sweet and kind person : ) (congrats on your wedding btw!! many blessings to you and your husband). i am half south asian - this baby actually looks a lot like me when i was an infant (except my skin is lighter with a yellowy undertone)! what astounding attention to detail! i've watched some of your shorts and all of your babies are so beautiful to me...thank you so much for what you do. i collect different kinds of dolls but have a new appreciation for baby dolls and reborn babies because of artists like you. i know for a fact that your work makes so many people happy. don't let negativity ever keep you from growing! i look forward to watching your work grow for as long as you want to post about it. ♥
You are really great at creating these dolls. They are truly life like and I can't imagine how much time and effort it takes to complete one. 😊 John 3:16
This is actually really really cool, and I am usually not a fan of babies nor dolls. I can get behind wanting to have something like one of these little dudes to cuddle honestly, I think it would just spook me every time I walked past it because they look so real HAHA Amazing work!! Having your work in a museum is like a dream come true for a LOT of people
Wow you changed this reborn so well i really like how you make the weight pouches and how you painted the hair in a swirl the museum will look so different just with this doll the way you made the skin texture is so cool and it looks like it works so well as a artist i could use this technique on my art the dolls you paint are so amazingly realistic and the way you use alpaca fur/hair for the lashes is really smart have a good day/night
The baby is beautiful. I loved dolls all my life and have a few from my childhood. Sadly they all got left behind waiting to be shipped to my new home..13 yrs later only a few things have made it across the World. But I got into LaBaby dolls back in the 90s and have 3. 2 were for my two younger daughters at the time and wore the outfits they came from the hospital in. I was looking one day and found a beautiful sleeping slightly smaller african american baby and just had to buy her for myself. I dressed her up and put her in a Jenny Lind cradle my children all outgrew. Most thought she was a daycare baby. Shush shes sleeping. Now yrs later im an empty nester. We cant get such dolls here and quality has been hard plastic or tinsel thin plastic with nylon hair. My Granddaughter got one on her last birthday that is newborn sized. I wanted to redo the doll. Her body was a wet wipe type cloth. Yeah so easy to tear. Her hair was destroyed and i tried to salvage it but the more i tried to brush it, it fell out. So cut and pulled it off the doll. Tried to dye it even with no luck. I called my son in law and begged him to locate my dolls. I have My Buddy and Kid Sister too and lots of good quality store dolls and I had about a dozen collectible Barbies up in my closet. But im slowly making outfits for my granddaughters doll. Im very rural, not much to do in a day and im pretty crafty. Wish I could paint like you. But its videos like this that have given me a new something to do with my time. Sadly there is so much not available here. Oh any suggestion on how I could use human hair on a doll if I can find a soft vinyl doll? Im pretty sure that needle isnt found here and we have no mail so might have to wait until hubby ships our stuff. Im hoping for next yr. And in putting her back together after I made a new body I mixed up the feet. Didn't have my glasses on and had glued the fabric to them for security. But booties no one sees toes! You be you. If I had a way I would love one of the toddler sized reborns. But im going to make a timeout doll just because we dont do faces here. Its ok if its played with but not as a decor item. But its therapeutic for me too. These dolls help people in so many ways.
What an amazing job you've done! I have recently bought (and assembled) a ready painted Zendric sculpt (my favourite). I couldn't imagine doing the painting myself. There's so much to it! I laughed when I saw the sausage-like body on your doll because Zendric's head is so tiny and they gave him a too long body :-( With hindsight, I should have bought a smaller one, but he and his darling face are fine for me.
I enjoy your videos, but I couldn’t help wondering how the original artist would feel watching their work being “improved” so publicly. I am sure they poured their heart into it and did their best.
That's something I did consider, however the museum sent the doll back to the original artist twice for them to change the skintone, and they still weren't happy with the result (hence reaching out to me). So I don't think they'd be super surprised to see this based on that.
I am Romani/ Gypsy with black and south East Asian and Melanesian ancestry. I am Punjabi descent. It’s not realistic at first, but the skin color IS accurate of light skinned Indians. That’s what I look like in winter when I get ashy. I look black in the summer. Ur paint is better tho. I wanna try can u do instructions for making black and dark skinned babies?
For a mesuem to reach out to you specially is truly an honor. You did an amazing job so be very proud of yourself. Your art speaks for itself 😊
Thank you, I was so excited!!
Such an honor! I know you will do a great job!

Honestly I do! My cousin had a baby recently and I had to beg her to let me take close up pics of her eyelids so I could get the veining 🤣

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY
You did such a great job. The baby is beautiful 😍
Out of interest, what was your artistic background before you started making Reborns? Did you make traditional paintings/drawings? 💕
I was always into arts and crafts but I never really painted before getting into reborns! I did embroidery and crochet as my main crafts.
@@rebornsofjess awesome, they are adorable x

You did a great job - they must have been really happy with the results!
You did a fantastic job! I think repainting is harder than painting from scratch but he turned out so great, I’m sure the museum is thrilled!

Wow thank you so much, I needed to read this this morning ❤️

Nice
Where did you get that sweatshirt?!? It’s so cute!
The one at the end I'm wearing is from sidemenclothing

Thanks for the reply. You did a fab job ❤
It's not like she called out the original artist. That would have been in poor taste.

Cant u just paint over the paint bc ur going darker?
Omg that eye lash thing drives me crazy!!!! Dont people know what babys look like 😮
That's amazing!! And you recycled plastic.
Wowww 🎉 great it's true this body doesn't match to the limbs
Little too dark, no?
There are Indian babies that are this skin colour when born. One doll can't possibly capture every skin tone.
