What brand/model do you recommend for someone who needs a firm mattress but does not want any type of metal/coil in the mattress? I used to associate a thicker mattress with more support and better for heavier people. However, with Sleep Number, it seems to be counter intuitive. I don't like Helix because of the coils. I have been sleeping on various memory foam mattresses for 10 years--usually have selected firm. However, they almost always get a hole toward the center and start to cause pretty severe lower back pain issues. I find that I have to get a new mattress every 3-5 years because of this.
@@fpvsky2887 Yep, you are correct! This is happening to me right now! I paid a little over 5K for everything and it is a piece of sh*T! If this bed lasts more than 3 years I would be happy. Its not even worth 2k in my Opinion. Lets get the word out as much as we can about their sales tactics and BS!
@@benjaminhenry5869 I like it, but if I had to buy all over again, I would have gone with a hybrid mattress memory foam instead. Memory foam top with springs underneath that. I say that because after these past months, I can tell the foam will wear much faster and who knows how long it will last. I have my sleep number setting at 30 and tend to sleep just on one side and dont utilize the whole queen size mattress. It is a good mattress overall with the adjustable frame, just NOT worth almost $5,400 with tax and a pillow. I would say a price around $3000 ish or slightly lower would be more reasonable. This is just MY opinion though. Everything has gone up in price anymore these days though. Any other questions you have, just ask me. Let me know what you end up buying or are looking at. I will update this every month and say how it is wearing. 👍
I AGREE, I have the M7 memory foam Queen mattress since early May of this year (2023) and its not worth the price. Better than my old bed, but that is not saying a whole lot!
They may have been around a while, but their mattresses are not worth the price they charge you. Plus, I was told that the delivery people would take my old bed away and when they got here, they said they do not do that. So that is one lie I was told by the manager at a Sleep Number store.
just called sleep number. it starts off with delivery of a mattress anywhere mainland under a week most within 2 days. within minuets it changes to 3-5 weeks. no sale as i cant stand liars
We have owned a sleep number be for 15+ yrs. No problems You spouse can control their side.i control my. I am looking to buy one that has dual control & I can set mine to lift me to not disturb my husband etc

Just bought the M7 mattress and adjustable base...it is going to take until May 3 to deliver it though.
Cancel your order before it's delivered they will never give her your money back if you're unhappy

We got the I 10 in shortly after they change the mattress type. What is the difference in the change? looks like the foam layer is much more thick.
