Decided to keep this week's video to Monday! We're in South Africa to review the horrific case of Rosemary Ndlovu. What do you think of her actions?
Also thank you so much for all the kind words left on last week's Q&A - You're all incredible!

Awesome Thanks Adrian 😊🙏👍.. Great story, sad 😥😢.. I will never understand why folks think money is so much more important than a life 😢...
Do you know how cold hearted you have to be when even a hitman is like “This is too much for me”?
Even the hitman was like...nah this is too much...I wont do this
Understandable, offing 5 kids just for the heck of it surely gets you in a special part of he*ll. If it were for money there would be atleast a reason
This by a long shot isn't funny at all, but can you imagine the hitman tryna tell her about the many bodies he has & when she says " I need you to off my sister & her 5 kids" & he's like "WTF"? Bi+€h, hell nall are you crazy?😳😳

Well, he wasn’t necessarily a hitman, she just tried to make him be one, and although he had some problems, he was clearly a good person at heart.
@@PiXie232 definitely a better person than she was/is🤢
The fact that a hitman had a stronger sense of morality says a lot. I can't even imagine just what was going through the guys head when listening to Rosemary go into detail about wanting her sisters kids killed and she probably gave a description of them including their ages. The fact he willingly implicated himself so they could put a stop to Rosemary's plan says a lot.
Hitman kill people for profit, but I imagine a lot of them see themselves as vigilantes like Batman or the Punisher. I'm not condoning what they do, but they probably find the negative qualities in their victims and use it as justification for their actions. People have a habit of trying to paint themselves as the "hero." Not all hitman are like this, I'm sure some of them are cold and callous like Rosemary. It could have been just as simple as he saw the opportunity to fry a bigger fish, seeing as Rosemary was a high ranking LE officer and took the risk of exposing her for personal gain.
And she played victim and sick in court 😡 picturing herself as a innocent woman .
The last time she was in court
she had scars on her .
I don't think she is the boss

But the man was not really a hitman. She hired him to be a hitman. He was previously arrested by her years back for something else.

@@faithsdollsville2662 That's true. Nowhere did they say he had ever killed anyone. She had arrested him for possessing a gun - that's all. She tried to recruit him as a hitman. The woman is beyond evil!
As a police officer she knew that the death of poor people would be ignored, maybe that’s why she was so bold. Which brings me to one of the reasons that I appreciate this channel, besides the exquisite level of work, the regard for human life is high and everyone is so dignified.
Your very right poor people disappear all the time and you don't see their stories trend or justice. While a well off person goes missing and they trend all over social media and traditional media. It's very sad😔

She pretty much just saw her family as lotto scratch cards just waiting to be redeemed. That moment when the criminal is a better person than a police officer.
It is truly shocking to think about it.
A man, who killed people for a living and who was completely unrelated to the victims was more shocked by the thought of killing them than their own sister and aunt...
That woman most likely doesn't see anybody else as a human being or as an equal. To her they are just tools, means to get money in order to gamble everything again. Yet she was good at pretending she cared for them and loved them...

what makes this even more sickening is that it's her FAMILY
My opinion is she might be a narcissistic psychopath/sociopath... someone without empathy. The only explanation for how someone could commit such acts against family. Even some serial killers have personal morals against hurting people such as children, or their own family.
Yes exactly
A man's worst enemy resides in his own home. My maternal grandmother was afflicted with alzheimers disease for the last 10 years of her life. In this case it appears she was gonna off the whole family eventually.
Not sure why they even introduced life insurance to such a country riddled with poverty. That’s a recipe for disaster
This is probably one of the most if not THE most extreme example(s), but it goes to show you how a gambling addiction can ruin your life and the lives of those around you in the worst way.

As a South African, thank you for covering this case. So many cases here need more attention. There is a docuseries out now about this case called Rosemary’s Hitlist if anyone is interested.
This case shocked us to the core in South Africa. She is an evil, cold blooded monster and it was such a relief when she was given such a long sentence. With your images of the casino and shacks you have successfully juxtaposed the most unequal society in the world without saying a word about it being such. Sadly, in South Africa, it is normally only high profile cases that receive priority investigation. Thank you for raising awareness about the murders of these impoverished victims. Maybe next time you cover a South African case you can include the shocking murder statistics vs successful investigation and prosecution of those cases. You will be horrified at how few are ever solved. Great job, Adrian.

Look at the living conditions for a lot of these people, I'm sure crime is also terrible there. I bet the way they handle situations like that and just the amount of police cases going on are much different from what you or I think. Investigating authority is even more pathetic.

Wow. This case is absolutely horrifying. Murdering your own family for monetary gain because of greed and a gambling addiction? Although I think it's painfully obvious it's beyond that - she's clearly a psychopath. It must be both painful and confusing, great point.
This must be what parents of killers feel after learning that they’ve gone on a killing spree at a local school or ended their significant others’ lives. And I say this because it seems a lot of people don’t understand that; they don’t understand that it is never cut & dry or black & white. Superior work Adrian. As in all of your videos, polished, well executed, edited perfectly with fantastic research and detail. Your outstanding work is noticed. Excellence Adrian. I thank you !!! ❤
Those words from her sister hit me more than anything in this story. I wish her and her children prosperity and peace.
I went to South Africa like 2 years ago and it is the best trip I’ve ever been on. It is a gorgeous country with an amazing culture and people.
Lucky you didn't get robbed man
Let us know when you here again and if you need insurance?
We didn’t go to Johannesburg so we were pretty okay
@@darthghengis Next time gather enough money to travel in sophisticated area, every place has a good and skeptical place. It's like coming to the US and complaining of theft in Florida or Chicago
@@darthghengis you could get robbed anywhere you go lmao.
Imagine saying all that in front of an undercover cop 🤦🏽. The person that translated this for the subtitles did a good job. it was on point.
You mean SABC? LOL I cannot imagine that translating Zulu to English is a big deal in South Africa, honestly!!!!!!!!
Thank you for posting every case of SA. I live in SA Joburg as well. The crime rate is pathetic in SA
Thank you for covering a case from South Africa. I appreciate your research and perspectives.
Welcome to South Africa! As a South African I just want to thank you for covering this case. Here, if it's not high profile, they don't bother to investigate. Corruption is extremely prevalent within any and all government structures - the police force one of the worst tbh. Now, there are some good officers, saying they're all bad would be ignorant; but it's extremely rare to actually see them solve cases.
Useless undertrained corrupt bunch coupled by a gorvenment who simply dont give a toss but to self enrich themselves. 2024 Vote the ANC out
@@kingkunte5479 and make sure you don't vote anyone who's a friend of Bill Gates. Yes I said it!!
It appears everyone was better during the Aparthied Era at this rate.
Everyone white was better during apartheid. Ridiculous!
Its unfortunate. It is because of the poverty and uncaring of these people that crimes are easy to do and get away with. Why, because no one cares about these people
Never missed a video in the last 6 months, respect from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
Je bent niet de enige 😉
Im here since the mad bulldozer case, never missed an episode since :) greetings from Thailand
Hier ook uit Belgie
Fascinating case. I have never heard of it prior to joining this channel.
Thank you Adrian. I find these glimpses into other lands very interesting. Population density, media saturation etc make it seem as if the USA is the only country to have things like this happening. Vids like this showing the prevalence of wickedness globally remind us that's not so.
You're really showing how deeply and thoroughly you researched. Thank you for all your work. Terrific production, again!
South African here🙋 You really went in! Well researched and delivered, you even brought out details we were not aware of. Thank you for the job well done Adrian
I'm South African, born and raised....im impressed with how you pronounced all the names!
Wow, m very impressed with your research on this particular story from my home city. I especially applaud you on your efforts to pronounce the names correctly, it's a sign of respect 👏
Good job as always
She also tried to place a hit on her own mother. Her mother was in denial, she refused to believe that her daughter would do such a thing.
I love how you cover different stories from different countries. We appreciate your unique content.
As a South African this case left everyone in awe. Still shocked at the lengths people will go to get money🥺. What a messed up world.
You're really good. Thank you for sharing.
Her killing spree wasn’t about greed and gambling she was simply possessed by demons that gradually grew inside of her dark empty spirit
Think about this always. Every time we think bad and do bad. The bad spirit or demon wants to get us to be his possession.
I'll bet the money made it easier tho
I'm from South Africa...In the city of Johannesburg and this crime shook the whole country.Everybody followed it from start to finish.Thank you for getting all the facts straight...ON POINT AND KEEP IT UP
4 years ago, my mother and i were victims of something similar and this case triggered me. it's chilling and vile how people are willing to kill their own family members for money.
Hope your family recovers.
I bet that was horrific. Glad you're still here to talk about.

It has been a while brother man since I lost saw you. But it's always pleasure seeing you. You look nice as always . Your narration is super. Good luck
You’ve earned a subscriber my boy
As a South African, this is so cruel and shocking ....sad truth is there are so many cases like this that go unsolved ..
my brain can't comprehend how he can upload so much quality content so fast
Most of these creators tend to be good writers that are great at reading about cases and summing them up in their own words. It's not a hard skill to learn or do quickly, but it is a hard skill to master to keep the quality high. Kudos to him.
Yeah, and especially since this isn’t his only job
U told the story very well. Thank you
Love your work. I'm Gerhard Roos from South Africa and love to see more from South Africa .
Found out what happened to her child why I didn’t know this escapes me. The poor child was poisoned at the age of 13. And yes Ndlova is Prime suspect.
She killed her own child? Why wasn't she charged for that? What a garbage human
@@blobster91 she’s being investigated for it. Charges are pending. Apparently she didn’t give a damn at the funeral. Not much in the article about her death.

Thank you for this addition information.
I hope they add it to her sentence.
Wow. Another layer in a disturbing case. This monster is a straight up sociopath. Just discarding family members left and right and feeling no remorse. Even giving birth to a child couldn't draw any humanity out of her. Disgusting.
Oh how awful.. everyone around her is considered expendable in her eyes.😔
I’m more impressed with your pronunciations than anything else 🤣 they are spot on. Thank you for covering this case.
No they aren’t 🤥, he did his best tho

Except the way he pronounced "GUATENG"

are you ok in the head .... this forum is about that innocent have been murdered. your comment is really selfish and disturbing.
I appreciate you reviewing a case in South Africa. I rarely hear about cases in the entire continent. I’m sure there are plenty of stories to tell.
As a South African, I’m just here to appreciate the effort you put into perfecting the pronunciation of names and provinces
Thank you for giving some light to this case…it doesn’t get much publicity, at least not where I am. I can’t wait to watch this!! 🤗🙏🏻
I've covered it too, three weeks ago😊

The lady was even posing for pictures in court!!..why?! ...how?!?
This lady shocked us all in South Africa!
Yip, this is South Africa, my son's dad was shot dead in Johannesburg and the murderer is still walking free, no investigation took place although the murder was on the scene when the police arrived.
This woman I have no words. God.
Thank you for sharing.
I didn't realise how horrifically recently this happened until the end. People should not be able to get away with things like this for so long in a modern era!
Police work is still a long way off from being perfect.
Me, the moment you said she made her family work out life insurances: please no. Please don't tell me she killed her own family for money 😭
The insurance company(ies?) should have really questioned things sooner. On the other hand, I deeply appreciate the police believing the hitman and doing something
you tell these awful crime stories well. it's sad they happen in the first place. much success to you and your family always.
