This rifle is a very practical leap forward for general purpose rifles and scout rifles. I think 45* offsetting the irons to allow them to be used without removing the optic is a big benefit over the conventional placement on prior rifle designs.
I wish Tikka still made that stock. It seems very hard to find models in their line up with QD attachments. As of right now, I think the best base for a scout in the Tikka line up is the new Roughtech Ranch, with a 16" fluted barrel in .308. Perfect. Just probably need to toss it in a different stock and that's frustrating.
Maybe not buy due to caliber (I prefer .300 WM for my hunting), but that picatinny rail and sling stud holes are neat and adding them to my old T3 would be handy. Kindaclike the irons too.
This is kinda ehat i eant to build but with a vertical grip, not 308( personally dont like it without it being perhaps 1:7 twist), a 16" bbl decent mag capacity, either an 5x prism scope or an extended relief 2-7 or just irons and finally a flash light
I like it a lot. It's a budget money well spent option. I think this kind a scope is a genuin scout scope. Little pit of lens size (44mm) for dark and 9x for long range. And starting from 1,5 x is good for close range. Off cause lot more expensive scope would be better.

I absolutely love those sights mounted 45 degrees offset. That is genius.
Excellent video very nice rifle. Never seen the sights mounted on the side before on a Scout rifle very clever..
Looking at the Tikka t3x ctr. I think I'm going to absolutely copy your setup.

@@kalashnikovdevil you can make this kind of rifle basically from any normal bolt action rifle. Just ad QDs and other accessories on it.
very smart and useful design I have a tikka already for the offset sight now to find a competent gunsmith. thanks for the video
👍don't forget the QD cups.
Yes absolutely thanks again
What model Tikka is that? Also, when using the iron sites, are you at more risk of scope bite on the bridge of your nose?
I'll buy one RIGHT NOW!

Hi! Where I can buy this staff?
You can buy the sling from www.finsling.com
The rifle nowhere. You have to go to the gunsmith for the rifle.
I would love to have a rifle like this. What action is this built on?
Tikka t3
