I'm still waiting on mine and was getting buyer's remorse because I didn't see that many pictures with the tobacco leather, while the photos I saw with the DCB leather looked so nice. But now I feel better about my choice and will just have to be patient for a bit longer. Hoping to see many more Saddleback Leather reviews from you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the DCB looked appealing to me too, but I like the more natural look of Tobacco, and I think it patinas better. No regrets here for this club purchase!
I feel like $500 was a fair price for the military duffel alone. I have been buying SBL products for a few years now and I have not noticed a decrease in quality at all. Having said that, I can't comment as to the quality of their older stuff compared to now because I have never owned any of it.
It’s been about a year they I bought their stuff and that was right at the beginning of their redesigns. It was solid. All of it! The Grandfather’s case is a work of art. And hey, if you aren’t happy with it, they can work with you. Their customer support is amazing. One thing they sent me I wasn’t happy with, I made the case it should have been on clearance and they gave me 15% back! How awesome is that??
I bought that in Coffee. Killer purchase. Now, I just need somewhere to go so I can use it.
