Superb film! Exciting pace, good actors and story, with plenty of thrilling twists. Loved this one. Thanks for sharing it with us!!
I live for your channel sir. You do the best work! Never stop doing what you do!!🙏🙏🙏
Good brief accurate compliment. 🎉
love this...Richard Denning very under rated 50's-60's actor married to Evelyn Ankers...this was a well paced flick...
That was a great little flick, thanks for the upload ❤😊
This channel is one of many that give us so many rare films - some terrible, some good , and a few gems.
I thank them all.
Why terrible?😅 I rather not watch bad C films.
I noticed this starred Richard Denning. I have looked for years for The Web of Glass. Richard Denning was in that one too, as well as, Edward G. Robinson and John Forsythe. I wish we could watch it again. I always liked it….🤔☺️ Thx for this one.
Thanks for the info
4 years later Denning and Paiva were in Creature From The Black Lagoon
Her dancing…kind of a moon walk😺
The Tramp did the moon-walk first, many years ago. Its in a movie, search it.
@@catchaser52 Trump did the moonwalk ? 😺
@@mickeybitsko1676 Biden has been doing the Moon Walk for decades; he's always been Out There.
🥰Thank you , Broken Trout 👍Nice to see 3 favorite players .
Nice one trout, I hadn’t seen this one. Wish they were still making old b/w b movies 😂
This is a great spy flick. Take a look. Thanks for posting.
Nice ending indeed, especially spy cop kept his promise to re-enter US the guy was deported! Well done!
I don't usually like spy thrillers or film noir, but these movie was very entertaining. Thanks!
Thank you
Good movie, good cast. Really enjoyed this film.
Thanks.🎉😊
Ditto. Love your work broken trout❤
This is actually a good movie……old fashion but well done💕💕
You have good taste @alicewarner5172
Some happy endings are better than others.
You are right @thatguyinelnorte
Denning was a good actor inspite of being very handsome, so what is he doing in this train wreck? Improbable plot of clichés along with a dialog of clichés.
Please!
Consider all the dialogs of cliches you
utter each and EVERY day
I agreed. :)
Not a bad B movie. The plot was contrived in too many places.
I agreed with you there. :)
She's not a belly dancer, lol! Entertaining film though.
Περίεργος τίτλος ταινίας ! Μάλλον θα εννοούν "Flame of Istanbul".
The _dancer_ was called The Flame of Stamboul; hence the title.
See the poster of the dancer at approx. 4:00 - 4:05 minutes in.
Stamboul was apparently an _earlier_ name for inner Istanbul.
"Stamboul [was] the central part of Constantinople, now known in entirety as Istanbul."
Also, "In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Western European and American sources often used Constantinople to refer to the metropolis as a whole, but _Stamboul to_ _refer to the central parts located on the historic peninsula, i.e. Byzantine-era Constantinople inside the walls."_
"The word-initial i- arose in the _Turkish_ name as an epenthetic vowel to break up the St- consonant cluster, prohibited in Turkish phonotactics."
Yes, I like broken trout as well… but what about the movie????
'You know we don't do business that way.' HA!!!
Ol' George Zucco....one funny line after
another. My sides hurt from laughing..
I really couldn't get in to this one, but that's okay. I will move on to the next one!
It is done. I will meet you in Los Angeles…the bazar on pico and Robertson 😺
Love it! “bazaar”

Wonderful. Thankyou
Fair flick. Wrong aspect ratio. None of the players were that wide in real life. Especially talented and versatile Lisa Ferraday. The award for best actor in a supporting role goes to Norman Lloyd as Louie Baracca. Thanks BT
I agree about the aspect ratio. Nobody is 400 pounds on the hoof.
@@leelarson107 What is wrong aspect ratio and 400 pounds on the hoof? Too intrigued not to ask.
Sorry, I just uploaded it as I found it. thanks for the info.
Where is the wrong aspect ratio???? What is missing?🧐
@@laradavenport903 Aspect ratio is the width to height ratio, which should be 4:3 (4 units wide, 3 high). for films made in the 1940s/1950s. When forced into a different aspect ratio, people and objects take on the corresponding change. Wide screen is typically 16:9. In addition to the stretch, the top and bottom get cropped. As you can see, everyone and everything becomes a visual aberration. Wide bodied. 🙂
the plot is a bit unbelievable but I did enjoy the movie
bauchtanz bellydance is hopeless
Charming movie! 😍😃
Too bad this is presented in the wrong aspect ratio.
???? It looked fine to me. I am not sure what is missing.🤔
Thank you, BT!
Glittering Constantinople .
Nyehhhhh. I tried, but even Richard Denning couldn't save this. Thanx anyway.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out @leelarson107 I appreciate it.
GOOD MOVIE THANK YOU.
You are welcome @berylbattrick1246 Thank you for watching.
It may be called The Glass Web😜
and this quality?
Um, the story line is hard to believe to follow through...I dropped halfway.
