So unfortunately we can’t purchase these sprayers in the U.K as there not available here through John Deere Dealerships. Would you be interested in selling me a brand new one and shipping it to the U.K?
@@surferdude1590 I would contact a north american dealer or store that sells them and ask them to ship it over to you. I wouldn't be comfortable or interested in doing that. Sorry.
It's been a long winter and I am glad to see you back...looking forward to seeing this sprayer work. I have a X738 and was thinking about getting one. Thanks for sharing...
This question isn't regarding this video but it is regarding x739. I have a x739 with 60inch auto connect deck and I'm wondering how far off level ground say concrete or pavement are your deck wheels when the deck is all the way down? I'm getting lines in my yard when I turn because the deck rocks /leans to the outside of the turn . I currently have my wheels about 1/2 off the ground all the way around.
I would drop the wheels down more. I have a 54 inch deck so it will act differently. When I was doing my research about what size deck to get, I found that the 60 inch deck floats side to side or back and fourth a lot, causing scalping. Since I have a pretty hilly property I went with the smaller deck. I cut my grass on 3 3/4 inches and my wheels are rolling on my grass all the time so I don't scalp my lawn when making sharp turns or going over a hill. (Still happens on hills) You might have to swap out your wheels more times then you want due to them wearing out, but if you lower them, it might help you from scalping. Let me know if it works for you? Thanks for watching.
Pete, very informative. It's good to hear honesty in the difficulties you faced with the instillation. On another note, where did you get your seat cover? My local John Deere dealer couldn't find one for my x739.
I have the same cover as Pete. Perfect fit and very happy with mine you can find them here www.greenpartstore.com/John-Deere-X700-Signature-Series-Seat-Cover-LP47913.html
Thanks Mark much appreciated. Not everything in life is easy and I don't want to pretend i'm an expert. As for the seat cover... I got it with the tractor from the dealer. But it looks like Zombie slayer just dropped a link for you. Well worth it if you ask me. My seat is brand new under neath. Thanks for watching.
Hey Pete! I installed the same unit Saturday well started Friday evening and I figured it would be a quick install but as noted the rod adjustments took longer than intended. But once I figured out the measure points it was easier. Just wished my box arrived as in good condition as yours. I've got two broken spray tips as the boom was hanging out of the box.
Aw man that sucks!!! You sending the whole unit back or are they sending you a new sprayer rod? Yeah I thought it was gonna be easier as well. Put it all together on the box as per the directions to find out it didn't fit or come close to fitting lol. Took a few steps back from the job and thats when I loosened everything up and put it back on the machine. Something the manual should of said to do for alignment. Thanks for watching buddy.
You should've showed how to assemble the sprayer
Does this come with the battery connected that connects direct to the battery terminals?
It comes with the wires and terminal lugs for the battery.
Awesome... would you need the extension wires or would the Factory ones in the kit reach from the battery to the sprayer in your machine
@@surferdude1590 Depends on how you want to route the wires.

@@petermarte70 Green Parts says they can send replacement parts. Nothing I want to disassemble and ship back that's for sure.
@@brianjobes Cool. I hate shipping shit back, especially broke shit that wasn't my fault lol
