We are selling our own handmade cutting boards!!
    Buy one here: www.grankvist-outdoors.com
My girlfriend and I hand-craft these cutting boards ourselves in the log cabin. We can only make a few at a time, so you have to be first to buy one when a batch is released. Our first batch is signed by hand with its own unique number, representing how every cutting board is unique. They are made from hard nordic oak, making them extremely durable, holding up for a lifetime of abuse. Instead of having a plastic cutting board that really should be thrown away after 2 years.
I was told that my dream of selling handmade products wouldn’t work in today's world where everything is mass produced. I want to prove them wrong. My goal is to expand into other handmade products, making a series of lifetime quality handmade goods. Breaking free from mass production, supporting our environment.

No matter how many times I see them, I'm just amazed.... and now, on top of doing this all by yourself, in the middle of the forest, somehow you made time to meet a girl, too? Funny thing is that having these skills were not _that_ uncommon back in the day here in Scandinavia. My father and grandfather before him where both doing most of these things too. Our family still got, and uses, the log cabbins that they built for us in the woodland mountains in the southern norwegian inlands. The off-grid lifestyle is something else, I tell you!

I see that many people are bothered by the higher price of Eric cutting boards. Yes, the price is higher, but you have to understand that you are buying this board with the fact that you want to support Erik and his girlfriend. It's like a donation, and the board is Erik's thank you for being part of his community. In addition, these cutting boards really have added value because Erik and his girlfriend made them themselves, which also takes some time and patience. So, in my opinion, the price is absolutely right, and the product will find its buyer.👍

You're paying for the time put in to make them and they're made to last (aslong as you care for it) I'd really like to buy one but I already made a big purchase this month, if theres any left in a few weeks I'll buy one, or wait until they release more stuff. I was very aware of all the options that were available and I still chose college. We aren't all doctors and lawyers either. Many of us make really good money in many different professions and enjoy what we do. Just do what you like to do and don't compare yourself to others like they should have made the same decision as you and if they don't they are going to regret it. Because you sure have gotten your panties up in a bunch over a completely mundane, innocent comment that wasnt directed at or towards any one set of persons or individuals. I sense an awfully lot of proverbial butthurt going on there and im at a loss as too why you were so triggered and felt the need to full out defend "us" (as you so labeled yourself/selves) by such a benign, non confrontational statement?? Some kind of weird childhood trauma or something youve got going on there or something young lady? "Daddy" issues maybe? hey erik you should make a video about the economical side of living off grid;for example how much the land cost ,all the materials and food you used and also the taxes you pay.
    it could be interesting

Excellent. It's a noble path you're on. I'm sure your ancestors are with you, providing you with divine energy, and dwelling in pride that you've rejected the destructive spirits and practices of the modern world in favor of the creative and productive spirits that make people whole. And you're living very much like they did; learning to do, then doing. Hail the doers.

Great video. Welding tip: NEVER lay your bare arm on the grounded work piece. If there is even the tinyest hole in your glove or you have sweat through it (salt water) when you touch the hot end it is all over. Looks like you are way too far in the woods to get help and you will be found with a burned patch on the arm that touches the ground plate and still clutching the stinger but sadly dead. Please be careful in future projects.

You may want to put some loose stones in that gap between the stone cap and the footing of your chimney top. That open space will become home to bird nests rather quickly and then they'll catch fire. Around here, we'd be required to install steel mesh as a deterrent and spark arrestor.
