The Gun game is like all else, you buy guns that hold their value and that you can actually make money on. Colt is the only brand you want in 1911s, they sale quick. With that being said this gun is nice.
Sounds like a good deal. I was gonna get a les baer but this gun with the nice finish and engraved???!!!! I'm spending my tax return on this and putting the les baer off for next year
That thing is cool the more you look at it the cooler it gets love that thumb safety wish my gold cup thumb safety was better but I still love it I got the hornandy hollows you recommended they work very good
Beautiful gun, the only thing I'm not a fan of are the redish looking wood grips. I think a high quality, nice pair of smooth black grips would look much better. Congrats though, that's an expensive and very well made gun based on what I've heard online.
You made a good investment sir but the abundance of attention can be a bad thing. My personal space when I make it to the range I run reload test this that i am in my own world. Color case hardening have always been the best
Oh, and you should check out their Single Action Army pistols. As much as I love the 1911, that's number one on my to buy list right now. Been playing too much Red Dead 2 or something, but that gun, especially the engraved version, is unbelievable.

I was very disappointed that they show this gun on their website with front checkering on the frame but they don't actually ship them with the checkering on them. Only a few that went out to advertisers had them checkered
To late I learned the hard way. Me and a buddy of mine both bought one and his would not go into batter and would rapid fire 3 shots off at a time randomly. Had to send it back after the first day.
I have not have a issue with mine and it is a beautiful gun but that's about it. The color case hardening is not solid and chipped on his gun and I find shooting the Les Baer more enjoyable. You can get them for around $1400 but for that price I think I would buy a Sig TRP ,Sig super target or a Dan Wesson.

I ended up getting a DP-12 from them, it has the Lazer/Flashlight grip + an Aimpoint Pro red dot sight. They do make quality stuff.

ive seen some of these bluer then others and some mostly tan like yours, anyone have any info where I can find one more darker and bluer then this one

Color case hardening is just wrong on a 1911 that is best saved for a 1873 SAA.
